Service is absolute trash. They can't make an order right and think it's okay to cuss people out. I'm sorry you are too slow to make food which is probably why you already work at Burger King. When someone tells you multiple times what they want and you confirm multiple times what they want, you'd think it would get done correctly. I entered the drive thru line at 2:10pm. one vehicle in front of me and one ordering. there was maybe 3 cars parked in the lot. They weren't very busy. It took 10 minutes just to get to the speaker to order. I then sat there another 10 minutes plus with no one even acknowledging over the speaker that I was there. I finally got tired of waiting and left. when I pulled around the building, I counted 5 cars in line. I went to McDonald's and was in and out in about 3 minutes. This restaurant should look up the meaning of fast food. read more

This Burger King location is brand new. As such it is exceptionally clean, inside and out... and very modern in design. However, you can also tell they are working out the kinks. We came through around 10am on Father's Days Sunday for "Brunch" as it were... The rest of Shelbyville's large businesses were absolutely dead at this time, but, this joint was hopping! And, boy, you could tell this brand new staff was NOT used to that! We pulled into the drive in, but after a few minutes realized the 2 lines (about 6-7 cars) weren't moving at all... so, since there was nobody behind us, we decided to back up, park, and walk in to see what was going on. Once inside, we encountered a line of 4 people that also didn't seem to be moving! I opted to have my hubby order while I wandered around the place snapping pictures... It's brand new, after all! They have a cute little lounge area, a high "bar" table for groups.. and free WiFi... I settled in to the lounge area to Yelp In, and hubby still hadn't placed our order. I could see the drive thru was starting to move a little, but, priority was definitely being given to it, rather than the walk ins. I'm not sure how many people were working in back, but there was only 1 guy working the counter ... and for all I know he was taking drive thru orders too... he seemed pleasant, but flustered... We waited about 15 minutes for our food... from the sounds of it, our fries may have been the first made of the day as that's what was apparently holding things up... They came out PIPING HOT (and were much thicker cut than I last remembered BK Fries.. but, it has been going on 2 years!) and yet, our Whoppers were cold... Not like, ice cold, but.. you could tell they had been sitting in the bag (not under a heat lamp) for 10 minutes... All in all, it's nice to have a BK in Shelbyville for that occasional Whopper fix... I was tempted to go 4 stars just because it's new and clean, but, the issues tipped the scales back a tad. If/when I come back, perhaps they'll have the place running like a well oiled machine! read more

Just do not bother. Of the different burgers I have ordered, each one leaves you feeling nauseated. I do not know what they are doing, but they cannot acquire quality employees. This place even shut down briefly due to the lack of workers. read more

There is absolutely nothing fast about this fast food... an empty Burger King would probably provide better and faster customer service. I've given this place plenty of time to work out the new business kinks, but every time I've been (never even during a big lunch or dinner rush), it's been a 10-15 minute drive through wait. Unacceptable. Save yourself time and frustration and just drive into Louisville or Frankfort. read more

We have been to this BK several times and usually good but today not! I am standing at the cash register with a coupon and the manager walks up to the guy taking my order and said don't take any orders for Whoppers we are having a problem. He showed my coupon and it was a double CB with FF and drink. Manager said that isn't a problem. I stood there watching them put order after order out the window. There was a guy in front of me that was there for a least 5 minutes before me. After being there for at least 8 minutes myself they called out the order that was ahead of me. I said I've had enough just give me my money back. The manager came over and was going to give me my money back and a customer was having trouble placing his order because his people were sending him what they wanted on his phone and after 4 minutes the manager got to the register. I said I don't mind waiting a little bit but when you have all those orders placed after me going out the window then the person inside that placed his order a few minutes after me and you call his out but not mine then that is when I am done. I ask for my coupon back and he said I can't give it back to you because we tore it up. He could have offered me a coupon or something but NOTHING. Just lost my special coupon. I go to BK a few times a month but this is crazy. It was around 5 pm. Won't go back to this one in awhile. Went to Mikey D'S and got my CB. read more

If they were any slower they would have to walk backwards. Nobody in line and still took 20 minutes. How is that even possible?

Messed up order again we asked for 2 chicken sandwiches instead of 2 woppers next time if they mess up it will be a 0 star rating on Yelp
