I have a good friend from North Carolina who swears by Bojangles. So, needless to say, when I'm in a southeastern state where Bojangles is an option, I stop. And when driving from Louisville to Lexington, seeing a highway information sign mentioning Bojangles meant I needed to stop for food -- especially since I hadn't had a bite to eat since arriving at the Austin airport around 7 AM. Well, here's the verdict. The food is hot, fresh, and tasty. The staff at this location is friendly. The iced tea is good. And I see why people love their biscuits. Plus, the cajun seasoning on their fries is surprisingly spicy for a fast food chain that appeals to the masses. Don't get me wrong, the food is always good. I love the food here. this is the only fast food chain I ever get cravings for. My family and I eat here about once or twice every other week. but without fail, the past 3 times we came, we haven't gotten out biscuits. In Bojangles defense, they actually told us they were out of biscuits today. (I just got home after going through their drive thru) I ordered 3 5 count tender meals. 1 with macaroni, and the other two with family sized mashed potatoes no gravy. I should have checked the food before I pulled out of the lot, because of just how often this happens, but when I got home we noticed we didn't get the macaroni at all, and instead of the family sized mashed potatoes, we got three tiny ones. not just that, we didn't not get all the tenders we payed for. this isn't new with this location, My family constantly have our orders messed up. About every other time we come through, our order is wrong. Why do I still eat here you ask? The food is super amazing WHEN I get all of it. Wow I never thought I'd leave a review for fast food. We pulled up around 9pm and 4 workers were outside smoking as we tried to figure out the AI drive thru. We should've just left at this moment. After trying to order through AI when the bot is telling us they are out of pretty much half the menu, we get to the first window. There were at least 6 people just standing around in the kitchen. We got a completely different order and some items missing. When asked about missing items, the worker told us they were out after we had already paid for it. The most painful experience I have encountered in all of my years! I have been a fan of crispy chicken ever since I was a wee youngin. First off the dining room was closed over an hour early? Second there's a clanker in the drive through, but it didn't even matter since some idiot of a worker can't make anything other than 4 chicken tenders in the entire restaurant. Everyone who worked 9-27-25 after roughly 8 pm should not have a job. Whoever is in charge of management at this establishment needs to rethink their life choices. We came here for lunch while visiting my dad. It's been many years since either of us has has Bojangles. We all ordered the tender combo. My kiddo ordered Mac and cheese and my dad and I had a side of fries. Our meals also came with a biscuit. The service was friendly, it did take some time for our food to come out. Hadn't had bonjangles in probably 25 years or so. So I didn't know what to expect. We were in a hurry so we went through the drive through. The process went smooth and the worker was very patient with us while we scoured the menu. I went with the Cajun filet combo with a side of dirty rice. The sand which was much larger then I anticipated. It had very good flavor with a little spicy kick to it. Comparison would be that it is a larger crispier version of Wendy's spicy chicken. The dirty rice came in a small container and was very good. Unique too as I believe it had what o think was sausage bits in it. All in all wast a good and tasty experience. I am as passionate about Bojangles as some people are about Jesus. But I am convinced there is a very correct way to do this restaurant. Bojangles does a few things incredibly well. Their bone in fried chicken is by far my favorite fried chicken. The spices are perfect. Bojangles also features some really excellent sides. They have a very flavorful mac & cheese and some delicious seasoned fries. But the main attraction here is the dirty rice. Get the dirty rice and thank me later. It's the best. In the spirit of fairness, I should point out some things that Bojangles is just OK at. Their chicken biscuits and sausage biscuits are just OK. There are much better places to get either of those things. In addition, their chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches are just not that impressive. You can also get those things much better at different restaurants. I bet you can guess where. Just go back to the first paragraph of this review. Order what I said and you are in for a great meal One note of caution: While Bojangles is ostensibly fast food, in my experience, it is rarely fast. In fact, I have been to multiple Bojangles locations and nearly always find their service to be problematic. In addition to the service being surprisingly slow for a fast food restaurant, I find that my order is wrong a surprisingly high percentage of the time. So don't go to Bojangles if you are in a hurry. I have made that mistake and regret it. I do not want to hear anything about Popeye's from you. Popeye's is trying to do the same thing as Bojangles but is in every conceivable way inferior. In particular, their dirty rice should be considered a hate crime. Worst experience ever. I sent my husband to pick up food here. He ordered in the drive thru and was told to pull forward because they needed to make more macaroni and cheese. THIRTY MINUTES LATER he pulls back around because they still haven't brought him the food. He reminded them about his order and they said they completely forgot he'd been waiting and gave away all of the new macaroni- he'd have to wait for ANOTHER order to be made. So he refuses to move from the window this time until they give him our food. They hand out the macaroni and cheese finally, and when he says, "where's the rest of the food?" They tell him they just ran out of rice actually because they forgot he ordered some. Seriously? No one offered to comp anything or refund him for even a fraction of our meal. I love Bojangles chicken. I used to eat this all the time back in the day when I was growing up my buddy Chris Aunt work there and she would always bring us home some. Fast forward about 20 years after they got rid of Bojangles and here I am a 35 year old man and I'm very excited that I am eating Bojangles again.It's very busy because people love fried food they love chicken and there it is so it's always crowded but that shows you that it's good I've been there 3 times so far and I'm going to go 30 more times hopefully because it's a very good place and I really enjoy it and I definitely recommend it because I can't wait to go back try the chicken of course dirty rice is great and their breakfast is phenomenal can't wait to go back read more

Manager yelled from the back to the kid taking orders, to stop - can't take anymore in front of all the customers. Then after a few minutes waiting, the manager jumped on the register and microphone. We placed our order with a kid leaning against the wall clearly demonstrating he didn't want to be there and could care less to be working.
