This place is a revolving door seems like a bunch of folks love this place. First time at this location and it was great. My wife went with the bacon cheeseburger with small fry. While I am watching my carbs and went with the double bacon burger with jalapeños. We will have to try it again once we can eat inside.

I like this burger joint but it suffers from a few drawbacks that I feel are limiting its patrons. First of all is the limited parking and restricted availability. It is located just off the 265 interchange in Middletown but is a bear to navigate to with one of the longest traffic lights in the city. It also has stiff competition with several nearby restaurants (Double Dogs and Chipotle on either side). The meal is always prepared fresh and has a variety of toppings. You can also load up on in-the-shell roasted peanuts. The place is always clean and the staff courteous. I got a bad feeling though they are being squeezed out!

This was the fries in the $5 large fry order. Pretty weak.

Five Guys quality has been in the decline for years . Unfortunately it hasn't changed recently. You used to get heaping fries and toppings. Not so much anymore. It's just not worth the $'s anymore.

One of the highlights of my undergrad experience was the Five Guys that opened up down the road from campus, and when moving here, I was sad to not have one close by to my first apartment. HOWEVER! Now being in the Hurstbourne area, I was able to FINALLY get my Five Guy fix and boy, it is as good as it gets! This location is coupled with other food places, like Yang Kee Noodle and Comfy Cow. So, temptation is all around you! I went in on Wednesday evening for dinner to go, and was surprised how empty it was! I am so used to waiting in line forever for their burgers! Now, when it comes to this menu, you need to understand that everything is BIG, like, a single cheeseburger is HUGE and a double cheeseburger is MASSIVE. Keep this in mind! I always get a single cheeseburger, since you can just top it with ALL THE INGREDIENTS. I mean, everything and anything! They have your basic toppings (ketchup, mustard, etc.) they also have hot sauce, onions, mushrooms and much more! The possibilities are endless and don't you forget those fries! Getting a small fry will pretty much give you a big ole bag of fries, for these guys always "top" off the fry bag. Man, all in all, everything is just BIG here! The food is wonderful and I never had any problems with it! The service at this location was excellent and I am so pleased that it's close by, but I am afraid I'll be picking up some pounds I really don't need. Haha! If you are a burger and fries person, please, try this place out, you won't regret it!

Five Guys does a great burger. Cooked to order with a plethora of fresh toppings. The Cajun fries are great!

Two burgers, one large fry, 4 drinks...$35! What a joke. Plus...it's called 5 Guys and the tables don't have more than 4 chairs.

However, I have already returned once after my initial visit and am sure that my husband and I will be frequent flyers. The ambiance is sports bar with (unless I miscounted) 33 large TVs, the bar, garage doors that open to the outside patio where 4-legged friends are welcome, friendly and efficient service, and best of all, they support the Kentucky Humane Society. Oh, and that tagline though- "Sit. Stay. Eat." Despite the sports bar ambiance, it is definitely child/family friendly. On both my visits (lunch time) there were many families enjoying their lunch. The menu is expansive with the burgers and hot dogs being the main call, but also includes, wings, sandwiches, pizza, and so much more. I opted for the 'breakfast burger' which included the burger, cheese, onions, bacon, and a fried egg. Honestly, one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I substituted green beans for the included fries, which I often do when eating out. Typically, I end up with a small bowl of what is akin to baby-food vegetables! Not the case here. The green beans were whole and perfectly cooked with a mild crunch and had a delicious seasoning. Talk about being pleasantly surprised. Folks, this is not your 'typical' bar food! This stray dog will definitely return, and I may get a microchip that reads "return to Double Dogs if found."

The last time I was there I had the Breakfast Burrito and loved it, but I prefer it without the Pico de gallo. It comes with Chopped bacon, three eggs scrambled, cheddar and jack cheeses, pico de gallo and fries all wrapped in a flour tortilla. It's really great! My husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger. Single hamburger patty topped with one slice of American cheese, two slices of hickory smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and Duke's® Mayonnaise. He also likes The Bo' Burger. It's hard for him to choose. The Bo' Burger has grilled onions, American Cheese, lettuce, tomato & pickles and a Special Sauce! For $4.00 more you could have a double Bo' Burger. In fact they have 9 different hamburgers to choose from, 5 different sandwiches, 9 Starters, and more. You can even buy your dog some handmade dog treats. Our granddog, HashBrown really liked them. This night Baseball, Softball and Harness racing was on and there was quite a few families gathered inside the restaurant and a lot of friends eating outside with their fur friends. It was a nice volume in the restaurant. Our food came very quickly, Sebastian was a great server. Every time he passed by our table, he smiled and checked on us. I also kept thinking that he really looked like someone I had met before. When he brought us our ticket, I saw that his name was Sebastian and I remembered that he had waited on us a year or two ago, twice! He even remembered us! He was such a great server then and now that I had done 3 reviews on him. Good job Sebastian! Robyn

That's how I found out about them! One of the staff came over and explained the menu to us. Super helpful and friendly! My friend and I started off with los jugos naturales. Mango and passion fruit. Delicious! Sometimes drinking something sweet compliments eating something savory. We shared all the food: buñuelos, patacón ( it looked like tostones topped with guacamole and different meats), arepa de carne, and sides of frijoles and rice. The sides were large too! I was very impressed with the portions. We ordered too much to share between the two of us. But I'm glad we tried a few things! There was a lot to choose from on the menu. Everything was good. The restaurant opens the side doors to let fresh air in on a sunny day which is amazing if you don't want to sweat in the sun but still want to feel a nice breeze. The sliders were amazing, the chicken was not dry which is common in bar food places. The concept of every bread being rolls gives the hot dog an extra security when picking it up. We seated ourselves as there was no host but lots of waiters/waitress walking around. We sat at a simple rail table and waited for someone to wait on us and take our drink, food order. The staff just seemed oblivious to our being there and walked past several times. I finally went to the waitress station and got the attention of I believe the manager; He took my drink order; a Diet Coke wit bourbon and a Gallant Chocolate Stout. The tap spit so he went back to tap another keg. Was taking sometime; so got attention of the bartender ( Chrisella sp? ). I switched to a Founders stout and DC/bourbon. She was on it and gave me menus. Took drinks back to table and looked over the menu options. Many sounded very good; but still no one to take order. Went to waitress station and Sella took our order. 1 mile burger and one smash burger and split fries. We moved to the bar as a few patrons had left. Enjoyed game and soon food arrived. The burgers were really good and fries nice and crisp. Seen some pretty nice hot dogs served along with some hot fries. Even though service was mostly extinct, Chrisella made up for it. I'd like to plan to come back and try a few other interesting food and drink items. They do have one of the more comprehensive lists of beer line ups in the local area. I really liked the outside Biergarten and the business is very spacey and nicely decorated and lots of seating area.
