This was my first time ever visiting this Burger King, and if you could go anywhere else I would recommend you do. It took them at least 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge that there were customers at the drive thru. I waited an additional 5 minutes to even be greeted. I ordered the most simplest thing: A French toast combo, that was large ( with a large coke and a large size of the hash browns) and a whopper with cheese. She didn't read back my order as well, to verify she got my order correct even though it was in fact incorrect. When getting some of my order the lady handed me a coffee, which I didn't order, the only drink I ordered was a Coke. The word coffee didn't even leave my mouth. She didn't offer me a refund for the difference, or try to attempt to try and make things right. She was being a smart Alec, the manager he gave me a refund when I went inside for the difference. In addition she had me move to the front where I waited an additional 30min+ claiming that they were making everything fresh. When I did get my food, it was missing an entire sandwich: the whopper. I can understand being short staffed however the customer service is most definitely lacking. In addition this was my first and last time that I will ever come here, and to those who think about coming here, I would recommend you don't. Save your money and go anywhere else! read more

Placed an order using the app, tried to give them 10 minute leeway so it wouldn't be ready too quickly. We got there 5 minutes before it was supposed to be ready and they hadn't even received our order yet. They tried to tell us there wasn't an order at all. We went inside we no sooner walked in the door when they said oh we got it we got it. The whole purpose of placing the order on the app was because we didn't want to get out of the car. We weren't dressed for public. And then it took them an additional 20 minutes to make our order. So what was supposed to have been ready when we got there took an extra half hour. The store manager refused to fulfill a doordash order I had gone to pick up. After sitting for over 10 minutes waiting for the food, the manager informed me that they would ALWAYS make doordashers wait and that they would not even START the order until every person inside the store had already been served. This is for a customer who has already paid, who has been waiting on a delivery service that they are paying extra for, which Burger King then REFUSES to acknowledge or accept. The order ended up being cancelled due to the manager REFUSING to fulfill it, which affected my completion rate and the customer who was hoping to receive food. read more

We have had several experiences with Burger King, they have not been good experiences. One time we ordered two whoppers; when we receive them, they didn't have one large patty on them. They had two junior patties! When we went back inside to find out what was going on, they then informed us they were out of large burger patties that would've been good to know before placing our order! Another incident occurred when I placed an order at the drive-through for four people; when I got to my destination; which was 11 miles away; the order was completely incorrect! The place itself is always abandoned. There's never anyone inside! The inside seems somewhat clean. Haven't tried their restrooms, but I don't feel the necessity to check them out. After yet another drive-thru nightmare, we just simply haven't returned! It's really a shame because Burger King used to be really good. read more

This Burger King is TRASH. The drink fountain only has diet soda and nothing else. The damn SLUSHIE machine was broken just like my soul after eating at this place. On another HEARTBREAKING note, the PLAYGROUND was closed. All I wanted was to get stuck in a slide today and they were out of straws. Came in on 9-9-23 around 6ish pm. Worst service ever. I ordered a whopper combo , a number 9 combo and a kids cheeseburger combo only ketchup. Three people that ordered after me got their food before me and I've been waiting for about 30ish minutes already. They didn't know where my order was it was deleted off the screen for some reason. The employees were arguing the whole time including the manager. The tables in lobby were all dirty and disgusting. Ended up having to wait an hour for my food and I didn't even eat it cause it was so soggy and disgusting. The kid's cheeseburger was not made correctly. Not very good food. The cheese sticks that we ordered for my daughter, we ended up throwing away, because they tasted nasty and old. My chicken sandwich was ok but not great. I absolutely hate their new menu inside. It changes screens so you can't really even see what they have to offer or the prices. I'd prefer a menu that isn't ever changing. read more

One Star is to nice for this place. This Burger King is absolutely terrible. Went there for something quick and easy before finishing our grocery shopping. We got 2 plain hamburgers one for me and one for my daughter. They messed up our Order so I had to go in and get it fixed. The lady at the counter was dealing with a customer and when she was done she sent someone else to deal with me (not the manager). The man who dealt with me politely took my food to fix it. I was not rude just asked if I could get them plain. I preceded to take them outside when done and check again and the gentleman who was nice and fixed them spit on our plain hamburgers. 100% NOT OKAY! One of those burgers was for a 5 year old girl. Hands down the worst fast food restaurant in Sterling! I drive for a living so I hit the fast food places in Sterling a lot. I have been to this Burger King about 15 times (far less than all the others). Almost every time I visit I get food that is either cold, or dry and old. Another time I asked to have my Whopper cooked fresh, but a customer shouldn't have to do that. The food should always be fresh! The last time I was there I asked for no tomatoes. When I got my meal there were tomatoes on both my burgers. I'm allergic to Tomatoes! Luckily I checked before I ate the burgers. I knew I should check because, while I was parked at the drive thru window, the same girl who took my order was on her microphone complaining, quote "crap another car pulled into the drive thru!". There was no one else in the drive thru but me and the car that recently pulled in behind me. She clearly did not like her job, was probably poorly trained (to talk like that in front of a customer), and she very clearly did not care to do a good job. She obviously was just there for an hourly wage and she clearly wanted the customers to go away. I was there (BK) at about 2:02pm on 11/3/19, and that was the last time I will visit. 15 strikes and they are out! read more

After my order was given to me, I noticed my order was wrong. I went back and they argued with me. The next morning I discovered my card had been charged twice. I called to rectify the issue and was told the manager would have to handle it. It took three days to finally track down the manager. I came in to handle the issue and was told I need a bank statement and needed to dispute the charge through my bank. This would cause me to get a new card, incur fees that they won't take care of, and mostly felt like they were betting on me not going through the hassle. Well I did. This Burger King was just what we needed in our road trip. Easy to order and we got our food quickly. It's a little further off the freeway than is convenient but we had our stomachs set on some Burger King. The staff are friendly. Food was lukewarm and I wish I got more lettuce on my sandwich, but otherwise it hit the spot. It was clean inside and so were the bathrooms. I'd give this place a 3.5/5, but I rounded up. read more

I'm a local here, and I noticed that reviews on local restaurants are pretty rare. I'm going to start this off by saying do not bother stopping here. I've been to this place numerous times, and the service was mediocre at best. Tonight, it was so bad that for the first time in 30 years, I'll be calling the store tomorrow to complain to the manager. Since I'd had bad service with this restaurant before, I took the time to actually use a stopwatch. We pulled into the drive-thru and ordered two bacon cheesburger deluxes, a whopper with cheese, a regular fry, and a large onion ring. There was one car ahead of us and it had just pulled up to the window. Almost 18 minutes later, the window opens, money changes hands, and a large soda is handed out. NOTHING else. The car then waits another 4 minutes for it's change. We pull up to the window, timer is started. The window is open (I presume because it's warm inside) and rap music is blaring out of the kitchen. The drive thru girl is chatting with the guy who is putting orders together. We're in a very loud van, but it's possible the rap music could have blocked out the sound. She never turns to look at the open window or me waiting outside of it with debit card in hand. The dining room is completely empty at 6:00pm. Very bad signs. EIGHT MINUTES LATER, I yell into the window "How much longer are you going to ignore me?" She turns, says "Wait a minute" then goes back to her conversation. Nearly twenty two minutes after that, she comes to the window and gives us our total, takes my card, and returns with it fairly quickly. Not a word is said otherwise. We wait another six minutes, and finally get a bag. We double check and it miraculously has the right items in it. As we drive off, we see a surprised look on her face as she's holding out a second bag. I double check mine and yes, I'd received what I ordered. Damn, I missed out on free food. I get home, and I am pissed. The onion rings are so overcooked they're almost burnt (they're the dark brown you get JUST before they turn black). The fries are okay, albeit lukewarm. My mom said the bacon cheeseburgers were fine. My whopper, however, was not. Clearly marked on the outside of the box was the cheese icon, so they knew it was ordered with cheese. The burger had no sign of cheese on it. What's worse, it was soggy, the kind of soggy you get when you order a sandwich with tomatoes and you don't eat it fast enough. This experience was so bad, if I had the guts to go again, I'd actually video the entire thing as proof, but I am so disgusted with the service that I will not be visiting this restaurant again. read more

We where treated very wrongly. The kid that was working taking our order had a suckered in his mouth,could talk well that way. He did not give us a receipt.
