We were the only customers in the restaurant . The person who I assumed was the manager ( Julie) was bagging for drive thru. Not once did she look in our direction. I'm only 6 feet behind her. 6 minutes later she turned around and asked if we used the kiosk? No hello, no how are you , nothing. While placing the order, my friend was asking questions about the menu and she seemed to get frustrated with his questions. She even told him while pointing at the menu , all the information is on the menu board. We received our order rather quickly but after a few bites of my sandwich I was not able to continue to eat it since it was so cold. When I returned to let the so called manager know of my situation, she looked at my sandwich and said, well you ate half of it. I told her yes I did try a few bites but I was unable to continue due to the temperature. Without any apology she yelled back in the kitchen, I need a whopper with cheese, make it hot. Another employee gave me the sandwich and to my amazement, the bottom half of the sandwich was too hot from the microwave yet the top half was just as cold as the first and this time the bread was rock hard. I have had issues with this place in the past. But when im literally going to open the door to get a simple burger and the, im assuming manager, wobbles right up and locks it in my face and tells me from I could im out of luck. Never again. I get a long day, I have them to, but to so rude. Shut it down. Or get rid of that. If I was in fact coming in late and they were shutting down, at 9pm? The place was filthy. I had to wipe my vinyl seat. Old dried up various dirt. I showed the employee how dirty the tables and chairs were. The employee just stared. I ate a burger there. Big mistake. Food poisoning. This place should be shut down. My aunt was with me and had the same issues. If you like poor service this is the place for you. They made an honest mistake by not putting cheese on a sandwich. I brought it to their attention and was met "you have to pay for it" I was asked when they were ringing me up if I wanted cheese...yes!! Instead of slapping a piece of fake cheese on the burger and calling it a day, the manager escalated it to a refund of the whole order by informing me it wasn't free for her, and it would not be for me either. They lost about $8.00 in product because of a total refund of the $16 I paid for 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks over a simple piece of cheese that cost them .15 cents if that!! Good job Burger King! This isn't the first time this place has given poor service to me but this is the first review of them as I'm not going back ever again. Worst customer service is not enough to describe what happened to my family and I today at the drive thru of Burger King site located at 2150 Valley Ave Winchester VA 22601. After we decided to end up an argue over a silly coupon and pay the bill in full, the manager made it even worse by yelling, throwing the credit card in my face in addition to slamming the window and using multiple time the F.. word in-front of 4 kids. Terrible service overall. I use to work in fast food I know the tips and tricks to bring food back to life. Sometimes you can't bring food back to life this unfortunately was one of those times. I was so dissatisfied with what I got I had contacted the manager. Looking at my food I told him that my food was burnt and nasty. The manager proceeds to cut me off and say everything is made fresh after 9 pm. Insured me that my food was not burnt and was not disgusting. You be the judge if you'd eat this food at this quality. My fiancé and I came here for lunch because I wanted a burger, so we got two Whopper Meals. We get in our car to look at the burgers and they had no cheese and we're BURNT. I went back in to get new burgers and even our new burgers were very burnt. I was very disappointed and frankly I did not eat my whole burger because of the burnt taste. Been here a few times. Usually it's alright. I don't expect perfection from a fast food joint. But this evening I was in the drive thru line and there were only 3 cars ahead of me. Lucky me, I thought I beat the rush. All I wanted was a Diet Coke and an Angry Whopper. So I pulled up to the speaker. After about a minute I said hello? And a few seconds later was greeted by someone saying they'll be with me when they're ready. What took almost 5 minutes before they came back? No clue. So I'm mildly irritated but imagine my surprise when they told me they didn't have any Whopper meat? This is BURGER KING and you don't have the meat for your signature sandwich? Well, you might be surprised but I wasn't because this hadn't been the first time I'd been there and they'd run out of Whopper meat. Burger King in Winchester Va 1513 Martinsburg Pike First problem, had to walk thru a cloud of cigarette smoke at front door. 4 employees standing at front door smoking, no concern to customers coming or going. Second problem, staff swearing and just plain rude at counter. Third, waited forever on getting food which leads to, Fourth issue, food was terrible. Order was all wrong and tasted aweful. Gross ! I stopped by when visiting Winchester. I had to wait at the drive-thru window. Despite signs explaining their COVID policies, nobody was wearing a mask (some were under chins), workers were coughing, yelling, laughing over top of our food. An employee was walking through eating bowl of ice cream while waving his spoon around and dancing. I finally had enough when the person taking money also stuck his fingers inside the fry holders to pick them up. I asked for a refund and got called "f$&@ing stupid". As of today I think I have given this Burger King one too many chances. It's fast food, I'm not expecting a 5 star meal, wrapped in silk and ever so graciously placed in the bag, but it would be nice to get at least 75% of what I ordered. The three of us at work today needed some quick food and chicken fries are always a good go to. Out of the three orders of chicken fries we ordered and paid for, we received only one, and the box was upside down and opened in the bag leaving them scrambled up with an order of fries that were also just chillin in the bottom of the bag, like one big salad of fried goodness. The beverages had zero ice cubes in the cup. One of the guys had also ordered a sandwich, and to our surprise there was indeed a sandwich atop the fry/chicken mixup in the bag, but somehow it was exactly the opposite of the sandwich he ordered and we really can't tell if it's chicken or beef....kinda sketchy. So here we are, three grown adults sharing one order of chicken fries. Went here and the cash register wasn't printing receipts. Had to tell the manager to swap a cable from the unused machine. The line was backed up. Everyone was angry. Put in my order and waited 30 minutes. I'm the last one in there and the cashier asked if I was waiting for anything. I said just the only order that wasn't filled. They found it and made it. Too bad they made the wrong food. Then when we got the food, my daughter had a foot long hair in her mayonnaise. Top it off, the soda machine was apart. As soon as you walk in to the front door a sewer small attacks you. Did not great you when you walked in because they were to busy talking. Went to use the bathroom and the bathroom was disgusting! Maybe that is where the smell was coming from. When I confronted management about the bath lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms he said well I have only been here for 10 minutes so I don't know when they were checked last. January 8, 2017. Newly remodeled. It did not change the operations. Still not clean, still smells, new coke machine out of several choices (like Coke, for example). One register. Always a line. Took 22 minutes just to Order yesterday. Food prepared sits while the staff converse. Its cold, 12 french fries in the large container. They charge for a cup of tap water! With so many places in Winchester, there is no reason to come here.
