We went to dinner here last night. As we do many nights. But I felt the need to reach out today. Our waitress went above and beyond for us last night. She was given two entire sections and was clearly working her butt off. The table behind us, a bunch of obnoxious 20 something-year-olds, complained about her to the point where the Manager had to come over and comp some of their dinner. But it should be known, and I hope the manager knows, that they were just being a pain in the ass, and I watched as she went above and beyond for them as well. I did not get a chance to speak to the manager about this, but it should be known. The food was spectacular as normal, the ambience is typically very good, but because of those annoying guests wasn't as great. I wish I remembered our waitresses name, but she is a freaking All-Star. We were a late dine it was busy. We had one waitress and she disappeared like ghosted us. Then we got a phenomenal waitress who was amazing. It was a little cold in the area we sat at. The other 2 tables near us said the same to the manager. He attempted to fix the cold but it took a long time to adjust the temperature. My food was amazing. Absolutely terrible. Kids meals were plated and cooked terribly. We didn't even order sides ! My husbands meal came out as the wrong cut of steak and even worse came out rare when the one he originally ordered was supposed to be medium well. The order was fixed but new steak came out long after the others in our party finished their meal. And the new steak still didn't look appetizing. Owner" manager backed power-tripping server Brittany -- Utterly disgraceful I brought a table of 7, including my family, adult children, and a long-time family friend, to this Winchester location for a late dinner. We were entirely responsible, and my 25-year-old child was completely sober and acting as our designated driver to get us home safely.Because we came in late, our server Brittany clearly just wanted to go home. Before we could even place an order, she decided to play cop. Without any basis, she singled me out as the matriarch, called me out, and openly accused me of being drunk. I have never been arrested and have never had a DUI in my life. I am a 58-year-old responsible mother who was not driving, nor was I being loud, obnoxious, or causing any kind of commotion. Yet, this server arbitrarily refused to serve me a single beer.We were so disgusted by this treatment that our entire group got up and walked out immediately. On the way out, I spoke to the manager, but the conversation was a total joke. He blindly backed Brittany's ridiculous behavior and dismissed me, even claiming he was the "owner" of a massive corporate chain. Being publicly targeted and humiliated by a power-tripping server and a dismissive manager in front of my own children and a crowded restaurant was deeply degrading. Yesterday, our family went to Texas Roadhouse for a family outing. When our food arrived, it was cold, the potatoes were stiff, and the gravy had become thick and gelatinous from sitting too long. While we were waiting, for food to get fixed. An older male grey facial hair ,in a blue shirt, identified to us as "Ed," (Manager)approached our table. When we explained the problem, Ed became loud, defensive, and confrontational, insisting there was no way the food could have been cold or prepared incorrectly. His tone and behavior felt intimidating, and we asked him to leave our table. After walking away, Ed later circled back and stared at our family. Our waitress came over to talk she seem concern as well, stood between ED staring down the table . As we were leaving, he followed a young female member of our group and her grandmother toward the exit. While other member went the other exit . Given his earlier aggressive and intimidating behavior, this was extremely concerning as young female and made us feel fearful and unsafe. His actions went far beyond addressing a food complaint. The repeated confrontation, staring, and following made the situation feel threatening and caused what should have been a family outing to become an extremely uncomfortable and frightening experience. read more

Have eaten here in the past and sometimes the meat has been overcooked and the dining experience wasn't pleasant. Today the food was outstanding, both my wife's entree (chicken fried chicken) and my pork chop were cooked perfectly and the side dishes were excellent! We have been going to this TRH restaurant since they opened a few years ago. In the early years we found the restaurant to be amazing. Excellent service and outstanding steaks but over the years the quality of steaks have been steadily slipping. Tonight we went to dinner there, probably for the last time. I orders porter house, cooked medium. What i got was an over cooked, burnt on the outside plate of gristle. I had given up on trying to cut it. On top of that the noise level is terribly loud, don't plan on having a conversation with your date. read more

At first we were sat by a noisy group and a crowed table. I requested to be sat elsewhere. She proceeded to go back and then bring us back to the same area for a booth. Again I reneged. This seaters attitude was cocky from the get go. The third time was a charm. Our server was a sweet young lady named Aylisa G. She was friendly polite and kind. Texas Roadhouse is consistently good. I've visited a Roadhouse in at least three different states and every meal I've had has been very good. On this visit, we had a group of 9 and we were seated immediately, which was impressive. Our waitress was superb. She had a piercing voice that was loud and clear to hear over the background noise. I requested my usual smashed chicken dinner with no cheese and it was every bit as good as I remember. The mushrooms and onions really make the dish. With corn and mashed potatoes, it just doesn't get much better, in my opinion. We paid for all 9 meals and honestly, I feel like it was very affordable. Such a good restaurant! Walked in to the weirdest vibe from the host stand. I told her how many and she just like stared at me? And then talked to the next group. So I was unsure of what to do. Very awkward. I'm usually a generous tipper and very patient with new staff, so it takes a lot for me to leave a restaurant without tipping. But today, I didn't. Unfortunately, the experience at the Winchester location was such a letdown, especially on a day I'd hoped to make special--my husband's birthday. I'd asked the manager to have the crew sing happy birthday to my husband and embarrass him a bit, which they did--while we were still eating our entrees. It was awkward, rushed, and left no room to order dessert as a surprise; they brought it with them during the song and whisked it away right after. Our server was young and seemed unsure. She checked on us by flashing a thumbs-up as she walked by, but we didn't get a proper visit to make sure everything was okay. The food, unfortunately, was also disappointing. My steak lacked seasoning, so I was grateful for A-1 Sauce, and my daughter's burger was overcooked with a nearly burnt bun. Even the salad was sparse on dressing and croutons, and the rolls were far from soft. We left without dessert, choosing to head home instead for some cake. It was a shame because this is a place we'd previously enjoyed and had high hopes for tonight. From the moment we walked in, there was confusion. The manager on duty was cold, the staff seemed more interested in playing tag with each other on the floor, and everything felt rushed--like they couldn't wait to turn the table. When they brought out the birthday cake for the song, they immediately asked if we were ready for the check, even though we weren't done eating! To be fair, I saw one server who was engaging, funny, and seemed to know her stuff--she really made guests laugh, and I wished we'd been seated in her section. She did bring us a box for the rolls and a to go cup. The worst part was the staff at the entrance. We gave them our cell number; they sent a text to come to the "Wait Area". There was no sign, so we went to the second area where they pick up the utensils. They told us to go back to the first area. Five people, all kids it looked like who had no clue what they were doing. We almost walked out. The manager needs to take a walk outside the restaurant. There is a birds nest and there is bird poop all over the sidewalk. Now if the nest still has birds in it I can understand. So perhaps put up a barrier to keep people away from the poop until it is ok to remove the nest. read more

My wife & I visited on a Friday afternoon around 2:30. The restaurant was about two thirds empty. But even with all of those empty 4 place booths, we were seated in one of the smallest 2 place booths I have ever seen. With the two small plates, the rolls, & our drinks there wasn't room for much of anything else. Then they brought our salads which took up what little space was left. And then they brought our entrees. By that time we had finished our salads & the bread but did they clear any of the empty dishes? No! I ended up stacking our empty salad bowls & the empty bread basket & sitting them on the empty 4 place table across the isle from us. The empty 4 place table that was empty when we got seated & remained empty the entire time we were there. Just a recommendation. Most people don't like the little 2 place booths. So when the restaurant is two thirds empty don't use them. Seat everyone in the larger tables & booths. read more

Definitely had a terrible time at this location tonight The waitress started off great but that quickly went out the window got our orders in while waiting for the food i ordered another drink she never came back not to check on us nothing then the food comes out they forgot a few sides to our meals go ahead and eat then they decided to bring the drink once I'm finished eating so i declined and explained to our new waitress i ordered that like 45 mins ago waiting for the food and the rest of our table needs drinks that they had one had 1 drink the whole time we had been seated then the original waitress comes back and apologizes and blames others saying she told 3 others to bring that drink to our table and she would get it taken off so we ask her for the check she brings it back and she leaves and apologized again look at the check they took off the drink i actually drank and charged me for the more expensive drink so when the manger came over i explained to him that the wrong drink was taken off he responded easy fix BUT you do know i gave you a discount on the food for the service like what i never asked for a discount i appreciate the hospitality but i just wanted my bill right so he brings it back after he fixes it and holds it out to my girl and just drops it and turns his head and walks off with a attitude all i can say is thanks for ruining my girls birthday dinner wouldn't recommend this crew i would of understood more if yaw was packed packed like ive seen it before but yaw wasn't just crappy attitudes and half ass service Maybe next time don't seat people where they will be forgotten read more

The food here is always good and the service is usually great. My issue is with the people that clean the tables off being very careless and making unnecessary loud noises. I am a military veteran with PTSD. Tonight, 1/16/25 at approximately 4:30 there was a guy cleaning off the table behind me. It was like he was intentionally slamming plates and making as much noise as possible. It was so loud that it gave me an intense headache which is part of my ptsd. Loud sudden noises cause severe headaches and the they persist for hours after. Please train them to be more considerate to customers trying to enjoy their meal. read more

We put some pieces of napkins in our ears to try to reduce the noise but it was still way too loud. The music was extremely loud and people tried shouting over it! We will not return! It clearly was not targeting our age level and not be snobby but there were many redneck looking folks with hats on backwards and shouting over each other. My steak was good but not worth trying goibg back again. We communicated our discomfort with the noise level to more than a couple workers there and just got a sorry shrug and off they went to keep doing what they were doing. Why do I list my phone number for contact if they don't contact prior to pickup. Also if anyone goes here you know prime rib is rarely available which is why I called to insure its availability. The staff is courteous, the wait isn't terrible, and the food is well made. The 1 star deduction comes from the cleanliness of tables. Each time we have come to this location, we find silverware, napkins, food, or dirt underneath our table, and occasionally something sticky or trash related left on top of the table. I understand being busy, as I've managed restaurants, myself. However, each new customer shouldn't be greeted with the remains of the previous customers' enjoyment. I do recommend this place, highly. Just be prepared to have to say something about the state with which your table was left. read more

So my wife and I decided to go here and sit up at the bar and have a few cold beers and steaks. As we walked up to the bar there were 7 open spots, but each of them had empty glasses and weren't cleared. There where 4 wait staff behind the bar talking to each other and not working, as we waited a few moments for them to acknowledge our existence and begin to clear the glasses, I noticed most the people around the bar had empty drinks. Then I realized that my teeth were rattling in my head because they were playing music at 5:30pm like it was a night club at 1am. We would need to scream for them to hear us order. We went her Sunday for my birthday dinner. We are normally very happy when we eat here. But this time we were unimpressed. Pros: Fairly busy but hardly any wait with waitlist options. Waiter was friendly and responsive. Cons: Actual food quality was lacking. Our party of 4 all had sirloin and the thickness of each was very different and temps were wrong. I feel like as a steakhouse, steak temps should be the number one priority. The loaded sweet potatoes for each of us all seemed to be missing or barely have any brown sugar and cinnamon.
