I'm sad to see the recent reviews of this place are negative. So far, I've loved burger pop and have never had an issue. In fact, what finally made me jump the gun and do this review after so long was the girl at the register/front. I made an order over the phone to be picked up and she was great! Very nice, patient with my questions, etc. The burgers have always been great. One time I did find it greasier than usual but that's it. However, the fries could use more crispness. They are too oily and soggy sometimes. Other than that, there are no big complaints from me. I do hope they improve and give it their all, because I'm addicted to the hickory burger. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect from Burger Pop. There are so many burger places in the area. Is this one going to be any different? The answer is yes! The menu offers lots of choices. The hubs got a cheeseburger with a fried egg on it. The nugget got the corn dog bites. I got the beef salad, which is basically a burger salad. You can also enjoy fresh cut fries or curly fries. I had the mushroom and Swiss with a side of onion rings. The burger was excellent. It was juicy and flavorful. They put all the toppings on the side as requested. The staff was friendly and the service prompt. The only issue I had was the size of the burger was huge! I should have seen if they had a smaller version. As a side note, Philly cheesesteaks are in no way made the way they serve them. But this seems common in Texas. I hope y'all get a chance to try one someday because they are awesome. read more

This is for take out. Burger tasted fresh. Rolls nice and soft. My burger had mustard on it. I usually don't like mustard on my burgers, but I got to say it tasted real good. This reminds me of a real home made burger. Meat was tender and if good quality. Not too greasy but just enough. With the onion rings, done extra crispy like asked, felt like being on a picnic. Burgers were average but better then fast food. The Burger meat it's self was a little dry but the cheese and condiments added all the flavor. Buns were only so-so. So I went to buy a cheeseburger combo w/jalapeños at lunch time. The cheeseburger combo at lunch is $6.95 and to add jalapeños it is $1. They tried to charge me $10 - the Jalapeño Cheeseburger plus fries and a drink separately. When I asked the cashier why i couldn't have the combo price and add the $1 up charge, she went into an explanation about Covid and prices going up from distributors. I decided to 'opt out' and they lost my future business bc of their ridiculous scam on pricing. read more

Their burgers are the bomb. Bug and super flavorful. Their service could be a little faster but if you aren't in a rush, give them a try.

Easy to order through Grubhub, have had the Chipotle & Acovado burger good, not village burger bar quality but would do, specially being so close to home. Good choices on sides, Jalapeño poppers is a must. Yes there is a 75 cent charge for using plastic, not a big deal get over it people. Will definitely come back to try more of their menu. read more

Food quality has decreased the last few times I have come here. Ordered a burger with bacon. It comes with one slice of bacon. Then noticed the charge you .75 service charge just for buying something. This place needs to pick it up again or it won't be long until it's out of business. The food is okay. The service is terrible. The girl taking my order cut me off rudely more than once, didn't seem to understand our order, and then still brought out the wrong thing. This was our first time eating here. We've been told by quite a few people how good the burgers are, and we weren't disappointed! The line was out the door, but we only had to wait about 10-15 min for our order. The burgers were juicy and cooked just the way I like (no pink). We also got regular fries (a little soggy), curly fries ( nice and crispy) and the onion rings were great! The burgers are half pound, so I could only eat about half. It was so good! This place started out being really good. Burger were excellent, buns didn't fall apart and customer service was great. Now, the burgers are tasteless, the buns always soggy and it's super hard to communicate your order to them. They stopped grilling the inside of the buns so they just get soggy all the way through despite telling them to grill the inside of the bun. Instead they grilled the outside of the bun so it was dry and pieces were flaming off. So the inside is soggy, the outside flakes ahead and the burger is tasteless. As you can imagine bag makes for a very unpleasant dining experience. Their fries also used to be crisp but now they're soggy too. read more
