If you don't like their chicken, they'll give you the BIRD! This Pluckers Wing Bar in Mesquite is a nice, new and modern location of the Texas based hitting chain. I don't have much negative to say, other than that the volume of the televisions was so loud that we couldn't easily have a conversation at our table. I suppose that may be perfect depending on who you are and what you want. For most people, watching the game is a part of the appeal so I get it. Service here was stellar, and our main waitress came by many times and handled all needs, but the surprise was the other team members coming behind her to double check her work and help just in case. Awesome. Super attentive. The food? Fine! Wings, Burgers, Waffle Fries, all the guilty pleasures and sports bar staples you'd want. A unique item here are the fried macaroni and cheese sticks, which seems like they are right out of the State Fair of Texas. Very cool. Overall, this is a solid spot for lunch or dinner anytime you want the classic American sports bar and restaurant experience. It's clucking great. read more

I ordered DoorDash tonight and my order stated it would be ready at 10:33. I arrived around 10:40 and my order was not ready. I waited another 25 mins for the order to come out cold after being told it was being worked on. That is so ridiculous. I understand being understaffed but there is no way if you are cooking the food fresh, that my order should be cold. Such a disappointing experience after a long freaking day and you're literally starving and now it's too late to go anywhere else. Oh by the way, these are supposed to be to be Parmesan garlic... The take-out service is horrible. I waited 15 minutes to make a take out order. The operations here is horrible. The manager stands around and watch. The lady taking the order is the only one taking orders as she has to go to the back and pick up the orders for face to face and over the phone orders. Apparently the other lady assigned to do that is not efficient as I observed her being just as rude and impolite to a guess who was waiting for her pick up order. I also observed and witnessed hearing the phone ring numerous times as the host finally picked it up and hung it up just to stop the ringing. I am taken back how awful this place is managed and the amount of money that is being lost as a result of inefficient training and poor management. I would be furious if I was the franchise owner of this establishment. Truly a disgrace to the Pluckers brand. read more

She told us the holy Mac was "too melted" to serve.. yet she was serving the table next to us too and they got some. read more

One of the best locations, food was fresh and the drinks were great. Customer service was good too, she was fast with all the requests we had. It's almost always packed ESPECIALLY on the weekends so be sure to join their waitlist through their app or on here. We ordered the buffalo bites, philly cheesesteak, bypass burger with waffle fries. Our server was amazing she was really attentive we were a large party of 21 two tables. Food was great it had been a while since I had been to pluckers so we came to this newer location. Our Aunt arrived at 6:15pm and We were able to use our Yelp waitlist so seating time was expected about 7:15 to 7:31 so we made sure people were all present during that time frame. Check in was done was told it was almost ready it was past the expected time at this point checked in again then claims of just needing the tables cleaned came out which ok so at this point it is about 8:25 when we are told tables are ready in a complete different area then she mentioned the cleaning earlier. read more

For starters I joined the waitlist at 5:30 and it said my table would be ready between 6:45-7:16. I live 15 mins away from the restaurant so I had decided to leave my house at 6:15to allow myself a 30 minute grace period to make it there in time, again I live 15 minutes away. On my way out my house I get a notification saying that my table was ready at 6:05 not even 3 minutes later my table gets cancelled. At the restaurant I had to wait 45 more minutes to get seated. Once seated we went ahead and ordered a side of hollymac, to which our server said " yea you can't order that we are out" just to find out the new guests sitting behind us which arrived after us were served that same order. After I confronted my server she said she never said that they were out. Our server was Allyn R. Also just because they were busy they refused to serve me a second beer while I was enjoying dinner with my family claiming they had a two beer policy. I had never heard something so stupid in my from a sports bar. I paid and asked the manager about it and he basically pointed fingers at the server for lying saying that was the way to get people out the door since it was busy. read more

Update: unfortunately I really wanted to like this place because it's my closest location but the service every. single. time after Lauren has been horrendous. I have been more than a handful of time after original review and it hasn't gotten better. They are ALWAYS out of the holy Mac. I even called to make sure ahead of time to make sure they had it, person on the phone said yes. I arrived 10 minutes later (maybe less) and our waiter said they didn't have any. I interviewed here recently. They stressed that candidates needed to arrive at least 10 minutes early, which I did. After checking in, I was told to wait in the lobby. About 20 minutes passed before anyone came out to interview me, and there was no communication or apology during the wait. Would not recommend. read more

Chris was our server. He had quite a few tables but still did a great job taking care of everyone. He made using our pluckers club rewards very easy when other servers often have challenges. I'll keep this short. After eagerly anticipating a Pluckers location closer than Addison, I was completely let down. The service was terrible, and the food was just as bad. My wings didn't taste fresh, nor did they even arrive at the right temperature--they were lukewarm at best. I expected a wait to be seated due to high demand, but waiting 20 minutes just to place an order and then another 30+ minutes for food is unacceptable. The Mesquite location needs to step up or risk shutting down. A high-demand area won't save a poorly run restaurant. read more

So each and every time I order pick up from this location there is an issue. I placed an order at 8:40pm that was supposed to be done at 9:11pm. I arrive and wait until 9:30pm just to be told that there is no eta on my order being completed because they skip to go orders to make dine in orders. Wings had no flavor at all. Fries were soggy, I did enjoy the chicken sandwich. The psychedelic frog was not the usual bright green, but still tasted good. I thought the service was good. Love the online waitlist. Make sure to get on the waitlist at least an hour before you're wanting to go. I would go again, but just wouldn't get wings. The wait was finally reasonable since the grand opening so I took the kiddos for an early dinner. Our server was really nice and engaging with my kids ( 10, 5, & 5 years old) but she forgot or mixed up a few things we ordered like drinks and sauces and had to be reminded. She made up for it by being present and attentive so we never waited long for anything. We had a manager do a table touch but they were packed so it was quick and he did not really wait for an actual response. The bar area (we could see from our table) was lively but not too rowdy although it was early...got the feeling it could get pretty wild though. Food was mid. Served lukewarm. We tried the location and it did not stand up to other locations beyond service. Probably try it in a few months when they work out the issues. read more

Ordered food over the phone at 12:20 PM and was told it would be ready by 12:45 PM. That didn't happen. The food didn't even start coming out until over an hour later, and the restaurant was not busy. Out of five orders, only two were correct. Fries were already cold when I checked them, and two wing orders had the wrong seasoning. I understand mistakes happen, but when I asked the manager if the order could be fixed or adjusted on the tab--especially given the hour-and-a-half wait--I was brushed off and told "there's nothing I can do." When I pointed out the excessive delay, I got a shoulder shrug and the manager walked away. This was extremely disappointing customer service. I've never had an experience like this at the Allen, Plano, or Addison locations. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to the Mesquite store. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at the Mesquite Pluckers location. When we checked in, we were given an estimated wait time of 13-35 minutes. After waiting an additional 30 minutes, we were told our table was being prepared-only to later find out that the hostess had given our table away. In total, we waited 2 hours before finally being seated. Once we sat down, it took forever just to get our drinks, and to make things worse, they were out of fries, fried pickles, Holly Mac, and tater tots-basically all the main sides Pluckers is known for. The long wait, poor communication, slow service, and lack of menu items made this visit incredibly frustrating. Definitely not the experience I expect from Pluckers. Never coming back to this location. Would give a .5/5 star rating. read more

This has been about the 3rd time me and my friends have received unpleasant service from the hispanic male and hispanic female who take care of the bar usually at nights. Slight passive aggressiveness, they tend to ignore or greet your presence and will have to chase them down to order a drink or food.
