A hot dog, two cheeseburgers (plain with cheese) and a curdy burger. Pretty good burger and the fries were good. My wife got the zucchini fries and said they were pretty good. I expected the giant cheese curd to be a little more giant since that's the description on the menu but it was still pretty good. Cheese curd melted cheese in nearly every bite! Max occupancy is 49, I'm guessing that doesn't include the outdoor seating. Can probably fit another 10-12 people out there. My wife couldn't finish her burger, she got a double and took the bun off and only ate the top pressed burger patty. So you know me! I ain't letting it go to waste, gimme 'dat bad boy. I can tel you that the burger patty itself with the cheese on it without the bun has so much flavor packed in!!! I think I'll skip the bun next time cus that flavor was on point!! I went back for the A LA Mode shake at the end and my wife split a berry punch with the kiddos. The shake was overflowing and I was kinda already full. My first time here. I was just in for takeout. I had the chicken cutlet sandwich. It was fine; tasted good. The bun was put on the grill, which I like. I only travelled ten minutes with it, and the bun still had the crisp when I got home. The fries have a batter coating, which is something I don't like at all, and they were quite greasy (It was closing time, so I'm assuming they just wanted to serve me quickly). The paper towel I put them on at home soaked up quite a bit of grease. I like 'em delicate with a nice crisp, more like McD's around here, but what I crave are the French/Belgian style, like I had in Montréal years back. If I go back, I'll try the schwarma with rice. They also have falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, etc., so it's not exactly just a burger joint, more like what around here is called Mediterranean. The staff I dealt with were engaging, easy to talk to. The interior is not what I would call attractive or comforting. It's all hard surface, so the echo can get bad. There was a group of guys at a table, chattering away, which was uncomfortably loud. I shudder to think of how loud it would be during a busy period. I'd recommend putting some sort of absorbent material on some of the walls or ceiling to dampen the noise level. Another review states the seating is uncomfortable. I'd put in older wooden chairs, anything to make the place look more inviting. It's too sterile looking, too much like a fast food joint where you're supposed to just get food to go, or not stay for more than fifteen minutes. I have no interest in what is called, streamlined service. I want human interaction. The menu kiosks are too large and in-your-face, sitting there on the counter. They look more like a part of a barricade. It would work so much better with a single-sheet menu on paper, and that would cut costs considerably. Kiosk's like these are probably around $1000+ each, plus a contract or monthly fee, and they need electricity. A business like this, what would they do if there's a power failure? read more

Food was great. We (2 top) had the single press burger w added bacon, single smoky chipotle burger, onion rings, fries, and drinks. Fries were comparable to shake shack. Onion rings were a little overcooked but still good. Burgers were great. The chipotle burger was one they recommended and it was definitely better than the press burger. Gripes: cold (everyone in the dining area kept their coats on), chef stared at us while we ate (like full on not hiding it - my guess is he was looking for our reactions to the food), there were 4 other people in the dining area and we were the only customers (they were either vendors or friends of employees). The food came in to around $40 which is a bit high (34.43 + tax/tip) I would think about going back but would instead likely go to shake shack down the road. read more

I think it could be good, but it wasn't. Burger Press is basically Smashburger but more expensive. 1. There was a guy cooking burgers but nobody working the counter. I had to use a kiosk to order. Gen-Z might love this, I find it annoying. 2. Price. It's too expensive. My single patty Oklahoma Onion Burger was $12.99, to add tots and a regular drink was $6.55. So $20 bucks and the kiosk defaults to a 20% tip. Am I the only person annoyed by an expected 20% tip at a fast food restaurant? 3. Every table in the restaurant was dirty. It was 2:00 pm and I was the only person there and not a single customer came in while I was eating. It would take less than 5 minutes for an employee to wipe down tables after a lunch rush (I don't think this place is ever packed). 4. My Onion burger arrived...with no onions (or any of the condiments I ordered with it). The serving size of the tots was small, and everyone knows soda costs the restaurant pennies. 5. Half this price (and a quarter this tip, max) would be appropriate. Restaurant was out of standard things (Diet Pepsi, chicken for cheesesteak, etc). Food came out in spates. An additional soda was out but there was no sign. Shakes tasted very artificial and unsatisfying. Dining area had spots of blinding, hot sun right next to shaded areas. No umbrellas outside. We visited the Edina location in January. The entire restaurant has a very open floor plan with high ceilings and a lot of hard, not-sound-absorbing surfaces. Plus it was freezing inside. We left our winter coats on while eating and I was still a bit cold. My partner, who is vegetarian, got the green burger and was not impressed. He said it just seemed dry, like it needed more sauce on it. We both agreed the crinkle fries were awesome. I got an Oklahoma burger but without onions, so it amounted to a cheeseburger with pickles and their signature "spread." I will say I tried this at face value and it was pretty tasty. The spread turned into liquid though and most of it dropped out of my burger in a juicy mess. Which is a shame because it's quite tasty and when I got enough of it in a bite it was downright delicious. I think the preparation is the issue here- The spread was applied to the same side as the pickles. So the pickle juice may have mingled and caused the sofas to drop out. Ultimately, my dilemma was similar to the green burger and I added ketchup to assure enough moisture in each bite. These char grilled style burgers are generally my favorite though. The Oreo shake was delicious too, but you might as well save it for the end because it's vacuum sealed with a boba tea cup machine and it's sooooo thick you can't get it up the straw. Let it melt a little and you have a happy little dessert. All in all, I would go back, but only if I do carry out. The ambiance (and heat) is lacking inside. But for the decent prices and mostly good food, it's worth a stop now and again if I'm in the area. I wonder if they would give me a side of their signature spread if I asked for it? That burger burger, ya'll. It was gooood. Other folks criticized the fries and maybe they've changed them? But ours were the crinkly variety, same as you can get anywhere. We also tried the chicago dog and it was shockingly wet. I know there's a lot of toppings on there, but that bun was so wet it was falling apart. Ordered 3x now from Door Dash. O M G! My new fave. I get the double pastrami burger - 10/10. Usually I am disappointed by the size of the bun but these are light (potato rolls I believe?) and melt in with all of the meat, cheese, and saucy deliciousness! Their fries are salty (to perfection) crisp (even at delivery) and crinkled - enough said. Splurge for the chipotle sauce - great dip for fries. The cheese sauce is a little weird - skip it. I have also tried the Maxwell's polish with side of chili - fantastic! And today I tried the lemon pepper fish sandwich with dill/caper tartar and pickles. It was perfectly crisp and did not need a bun. I would definitely get this again. It is not a matter of IF, just WHEN. I guess there are frozen treats that should be tried as well. I was super excited to try this new casual burger spot , located by the Lund's and Byerly's on France ave in Edina . When you first walk in , you walk right up to the counter to order . The kitchen is exposed , looked very clean and well kept. I would say they have minimal decor, very plain yet modern . On to the grub, I ordered a single Oklahoma burger - spread , pickles, onions cheese . They do crinkle fries, which had a crispy outside and soft light potato inside . The burger patty was "pressed" to perfection , but I will say very bland , I would for sure do a double if not a triple . The meat is high quality , but could use some seasoning . The BUN omg the potato bun was soooo fresh but over powered the meat . My cousin got cheese curds and a chicago dog - pickles, relish, tomato, onion, celery salt, mustard and sport peppers. The cheese curds are for sure some curds Wisconsinites would ooh and ahhh over , they have a nice squeege. The Chicago dog was done very well , lots of flavor . Again the BUN , so fresh the portions are a bit small , but it was perfect for us to have one of their special shakes at the end . I got the Over the Rainbow (fruit loops and fruity pebbles,) she got Honey Bunny ( honey bunches of oats , Honey Nut Cheerios and honey ) both were pretty good , lots of toppings , I would say I liked the honey bunny more , just more flavor . Their ice cream melts pretty rapidly . I was shocked at how much the shakes were , they were almost more than our meal , 8.06 and they are a bit slow making the shakes . Another for sure Callie thing , is the spoon situation . Ha it was a super deep spoon , so it made it hard to eat . You either had to slurp or "tongue" it out , which both are awkward in public haaha Overall I would provably give this place another shot , just cause it does use HIGH QUALITY ingredients . Food was very good. Burger was tasty and delicious, fries were nice and crispy. Everything was extremely fresh and hot. My one complaint: restaurants need to stop buying these stupid metal chairs. They look great, but people who are even remotely larger cannot sit in them comfortably. This is a burger place, which means you're probably getting a lot of bigger people. For the love of god, please get some chairs that we can sit in comfortably!!! I would love to eat here again, but I will have to be getting my food to go if I do. read more

Ordered from door dash for my family this week. We ordered a butter burger , pastrami burger, chicken sandwich, onion rings, fries and cheese curds. With delivery it was about $70! For the burger it was disappointing you can't customiZe as much as you want- for example I wanted to add bacon and take off pickles but they only allowed for 1 modification. But the burgers itself was nummy! The sides were all cold - probably from delivery but I was shocked at the tiny portion sizes- especially for the price. The chicken sandwich was blah- I've had better chicken sandwiches at McDonald's or chick fil a, just no flavor. When I went in to pick up my order the gentleman behind the counter was very welcoming and respectful, really made you feel like you were a frequent shopper, when it was my first time. Meh- overpriced and just okay. The actual burger itself was good - fresh beef with nice crust but everything else was so-so. The "sauce" reminded me of runny and kind of sweet ranch dressing and just made the burger messy. Buns are soft and not toasted. We weee the only customers and our fries came out just lukewarm. The shakes are soft serve - type,not real ice cream, and were too thick to drink through the skinny straw, no spoon provided. On their website they say all toppings are put on the side when doing pick up to prevent sogginess. My hot dogs came covered in toppings in conflict with what the website states. I cannot eat several toppings that the meal was slathered in so the meal was ruined and I'm out 10$. When I called for a refund they didn't know how to do that and suggested I call in the morning. Will not be revisiting. Also the hot dogs were drowned in relish, and the few bites I did manage to salvage were not very good. Then they tried throwing lettuce and tomato on a butter burger and calling it a press burger and they had to redo it again.
