Starving and really craving some time out of the truck, Hubby and I swooped into Burger Queen for some food. Hubby had a double cheeseburger with all the fixings. It was hot and fresh, but nothing exceptional. I had a BLT on sourdough slices that was tasty on the inside, but the bread was just fair. We shared a vanilla shake that was thick and vanillay (is that a word?), but the highlight of the meal were the wild fries - french fries covered with sauce, jalapenos, bacon and a bunch of other stuff that happily made their way from the fork into my mouth. Delicious!! The server was cheery and overall everything was satisfying except for the washrooms. Both washrooms were a gross mess. TIP: Go for the food, but pee in the parking lot. read more

Good food. Good and friendly employees. Good burgs and fries. If I had to give some advice I'd say that the wild fries had a bit too much salt, and that comes from someone that loves salt. I'd guess its a bacon bit salt plus french fry salt confluence and they need to lay off on one or the other. Still good food though. read more

Sparkling clean, literally not a single crumb or finger print on any surface! Ladies working inside are very kind. I made changes to my orders but there were still no eye rolls only smiles! My family stopped in as we had business in town and were blown away with the food. Amazing food and great service. We even ordered more to take home with us. I was driving from Indiana to Brookings Oregon and passed through Lakeview recently. I stopped at Burger Queen and ordered a cheeseburger and was glad I did. It was one of the better cheeseburgers I've eaten in a while. Would definitely stop again if I was ever in Lakeview. read more

I visited the Burger Queen on July 27th. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a hot fudge shake. The woman at the counter didn't know if they could make a hot fudge shake so she asked another guy there who said, "how would that work? It won't stay hot." Of course, I knew that. I told him that I like the flavor of the hot fudge, which is different than chocolate flavor. Generally the heat makes the shake a bit runnier, but that's the way I like my shakes anyway. After I explained he said, "why not?" They made my shake and handed it to me and I sat down to wait for the rest of my food. I long time went by. The cook came out to deliver food to people a couple of times and finally noticed me standing there. "Did we forget something you ordered?" he asked. I told him that I had ordered food in addition to my shake which I had by now finished off . Actually I had finished it off 15-20 minutes before. The cook said that sometimes when there is both ice cream items and food items on the ticket, they make the ice cream and forget to hand the ticket back to the cook to make the food. He apologized profusely and offered me anything on the menu to make up for it. I politely declined, simply because I was already feeling guilty about eating a lot of greasy, fattening, fast food. He went back there and made it and the other guy who I had originally dealt with apologized for messing up. The food itself was really good for a burger joint. I loved the shake, even though they didn't normally make them. I hope they add them to the menu for future customers. And I really liked the burger as well. The fries were good too, and I ate most of them on the walk back to my motel room. I highly recommend this place only stay on top of them if you happen to order both food and ice cream! Just that one flub up kept me from rating it five stars. read more

So apparently the vast majority of the reviewers are either morons or are completely drunk.. This place is excellent and in my opinion, is leaps and bounds better than their competitors. I frequently visit burger queen for lunch, $8.09 for a cheeseburger meal with fry sauce is more than fair considering it's actually real food and not mcdonalds, maybe the other reviewers have personal taste that is more in line with disgusting fast food type places. I have tried several different items and have yet to be disappointed. Keep up the great work guys. read more

My husband and I stopped on our way back to Utah. The people were SO friendly!! The young man helping us explained all the burgers to us. We both chose the mushroom burger. Service was friendly and food came out fast. I ordered the bacon burger and my husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Both burgers were solid and I thought the bacon was cooked perfectly. We also both ordered fries and curly fries which were both alright. I preferred the curly fries, but I usually do. Prices were good and I would come back if I was ever in the area again. This is honestly the worst fast food I have had in a very long time. I was just driving through the po-dunk town of Lakeview and went on yelp to look for a place to eat, this place was my third choice as the others were closed but the yelp reviews were pretty favorable so I decided it must be at least decent, cheap food. Boy, was I mistaken. To begin with, the staff were surly and didn't even seem to want to take our order, which should have been a sign of what was to come, but against my better judgement I ordered a chicken sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger (which set me back a whopping 10 dollars) . Now to be fair, the burger was your average gas station burger and was probably worth 5 dollars if you were hungry enough, but I ate the sandwich first and it was so vile it actually pretty much ruined the whole experience for me. Not only was it a pellet of frozen, deep fried chicken, it wasn't even a decent sized piece of disgusting chicken, and the bread it came on tasted like a piece of cardboard soaked in fryer grease, with a texture to match. Overall I would give my dining experience one star, but if I were just rating the sandwich alone, I would have to give it zero stars, and the only reason it isn't less is because it didn't give me food poisoning so far. For whatever it's worth, the ham sandwich was just as bad, so if you really feel it necessary to subject yourself to the burger queen, I recommend you stick with the burgers, they are still overpriced and mediocre, but at least they are large enough to fill you up and there is enough grease to hide the fact that they are stale and tasteless. However, don't think just because you stay away from the sandwiches that they won't screw up your food, though, because even their prepacked bags of potato chips were worse than usual, and according to the bag were actually 2 YEARS out of date... Although to be honest that doesn't surprise me too much, since only an idiot would be willing to buy food from them. read more

Gal taking orders was a little weird and it was her first day. Dirty clothes, not well taken care of. Food was good, but not great. Lots of menu items that are obviously not handmade...ie chicken cordon bleu. Not the cleanest dining room nor friendliest staff. Had a vegan burger! (The beyond burger) love this place as they made the burger just right and got my toppings perfect which is rare at other vegan option establishments! We stopped o noir drive from Oregon to California. Yes the building is old but that didn't affect the burgers. They were very very good, large, juicy, flavorful cooked just the way we wanted. We went thru the drive thru and parked in the lot next door so we could walk our dogs. They were so nice they brought our food to us !!!! I would recommend stopping here for burgers if you are in town and need lunch ! read more
