My visit made me want to kill myself. I first walked in and the lady said hello and i turned around and said hello to a customer thinking she said it like a dumbass. Customer service was awful. Went through the drive through and two separate employees jumped on to take our order which caused confusion. We had to repeat our order multiple times. By the time we got to the window, the woman there was just plain rude. As soon as our food was handed to us, she closed the window. No "that's everything" no " have a good night", nothing. read more

Im so disappointed! This used to be me and my dads favorite spot to eat burgers but man have they gone down hill. The bathrooms are locked, they are inside bathrooms so that just seems weird. For some reason they also still have the covid plastic up and it made it really difficult to talk to the employee across the counter from me. Took one star off for having seemingly untrained staff, but I can honestly say that we've been coming here for food since 1990 with no issues whatsoever. Horrible service. Drive thru person not only got my order wrong, then gave me the wrong change, was hesitant to give me the correct change, then forgot to give me the sauce I paid for and lastly gave me the wrong food in the bag after correcting it on my receipt. And that's not all folks. I preceded to go back after arriving home and having the wrong food. Left wrong food at home for my family to eat and the Manager onsite refused to give me my correct food since I did not have the wrong food with me. The manager at this location is the most terrible, hateful, and rude service industry worker that I have ever come across. After asking her to repeat what she said due to heavy traffic noise, she started screaming at my family, and berated us in the most unprofessional and ridiculous tone I have ever experience in any place of business. Considering the plethora of bad reviews on every review site available about this kind of treatment with this exact manager, you would think that this establishments owner would prevent this horrid individual from running their business into the ground. I always heard good things about the candy cane milkshakes and wanted to try one since I was shopping nearby. I drove up to the menu board and couldn't hear anything but saw people driving up so I assumed the menu speaker was down. I waited in the drive thru until I could ask the cashier if I could just order one candy cane dollar shake and said I couldn't hear anything from the menu board. After giving me an annoyed response he took the order without saying anything else. Once I got my drink he handled the rest of the transaction rudely and as I tried to tell him to have a good night he shut the order window in my face. There is a distinct lack of customer service however, that's only the start. I drank a little bit on my way home and found it delicious. I came home but when I went to set it down I noticed it was wet on the bottom. I went to check if it was leaking and found a thumbtack in the base of my cup. It was fully pushed in and in the center of the cup. I assume he did this to make my drink leak which it did and was a pain to clean up. After I cleaned it up and sifted the drink to inspect for anything else that wasn't supposed to be in it I called the restaurant to speak to a manager and after only being able to speak to a supervisor was told "I can vouch for these kids, they may be lazy sometimes but I know they wouldn't do that maliciously" I told her who had served me the drink and when it happened but she didn't seem to believe me. After I stopped by today I'm unsure of whether or not I spoke to the same supervisor as I forgot her name but the one I spoke to today didn't believe me either. She asked me again if i'm certain it didn't come from my car, I barely keep anything in my car and definitely don't keep tacks face up in the dead center of my cup holder. She kept the cup to show the manager but told me the manager hadn't had a chance to review the cameras yet and that they would give me a call today. I've been to my fair share of good ol' fashion charbroiled burger joints, so take this opinion with a grain of salt. I've had expensive and also cheap amazing burgers in my life so far, so this place does not fall in any category of: amazing, great, good, or just ok. Here's what I've tried: Burger ranch with cheese: No. No. No! First bite into it I knew something was wrong. The taste was off and couldn't immediately figure out why. I took a piece of the meat patty and tried it by itself. A-ha! There's the culprit!!! The beef patty literally smells and taste like canned dog food. No I have not actually tried dog food, but I'm sure this patty is a close second. It was also very squishy. Crinkle Fries They were ok. A lot of bottom of the barrel small pieces and overly fried. Root beer float: I felt like this was almost an April Fool's joke. It was more root beer than anything. When I threw it down the kitchen sink, the ice cream portion just looked like whipped cream. I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually. This was my first and of course the LAST time I'll ever eat here. read more

The lobby of the restaurant seemed clean. That's the only positive thing i have to say i guess. It's been YEARS since i've been here. I got a patty melt and it look toasted on the outside of the bread. beside that the bread was COMPLETELY soggy. not toasted. Crinkle fries i got were barely done... maybe a slight crisp? Definitely not crispy fries you crave. Back to the patty melt... I expect a patty melt to be a Hamburger patty with melted Swiss and caramelized onions on rye or marbled rye. Today if i'm not mistaken i got a normal burger minus ketchup or mustard on sourdough. Lettuce and bacon included. Definitely not a patty melt. Went to Burger Ranch drive thru around the time of 8:00 pm on 1/23/23. Was very disappointed with the service we received. When ordering, they had to switch headsets halfway through which ultimately caused our order to be wrong. After we confronted them about the matter, a girl refused to fix our order. The other employee that was working with her was nice and had to take over for her, apologizing to us and fixing what was wrong. For a place that is named for it's burgers, I was shocked by how bland and flavorless the burgers actually were. The service was nice -- though I could tell I got the best one in the lot because there were two girls screwing around standing right behind her. I bought the small bacon burger and it just took a few minutes. The patty meat didn't have a lot of flavor, no tomato slice, the lettuce was soggy and the sauce was only smack dab in the middle of one side of bun, making the burger increasingly dry. This place needs a facelift, big time. The inside is dim and drab. It's in a good location and must have enough customers to stay in business, so why not improve the recipes and fix the place up a bit? read more

Found this place by chance and we're so glad we did! They prepared delicious burgers, fries, and a chicken basket with quick, friendly service. I had the rudest experience I've ever had at any food location in my life. Got my order wrong corrected it wrong acted exstremly rude to me. I asked three times if they got my corn dog on my order kept slamming the drive thru window on me. When they were giving me our food I asked if the corn dog was on there. She replied very snotty you didn't order a corn dog. I told you three times I wanted a corn dog she said no you didn't. I got upset and said just give me our food and she gave me the sack and slammed the window. There were no other customers in the drive through or there period. One star is a star too many. I took my grandchildren in last evening - they were excited for dinner and ice cream. The manager (Alma?) was screaming at the staff, at the top of her lungs - she appeared to be under the influence of something. It was unbelievable! I asked the sweet girl at the counter for the manager's number, as I wanted to report the abuse that this staff was enduring - in addition to the fact that customers (myself and the two groups that entered after me) were leaving because of this erratic and abusive behavior. The girl looked at me, hesitant; she and the young man working the window looked terrified of this woman). I asked again. She asked the woman for the manager's number and the woman went beyond ballistic - demanding that I leave. I did get some video and would like to share with the owner - if I could reach him. I eventually got my money back, left, then called the police and asked them to please assess the situation as those employees do not deserve to be treated that way, and I'm certain that the manager would not tolerate the treatment of his staff and customers. After reading all of the reviews online, I see that this has been happening for a very long time. My 4 and 5-year-old grandchildren should not have had to witness this craziness! read more

The food was subpar. We ordered chili cheese fries and the cheese sauce was terrible. It's like was too old. It tasted off and the fries were almost not cooked enough. As a kid, my parents took me the Burger Ranch and it was always delicious. Tonight I took my own kids to Burger Ranch. I figured we'd get a burger and shakes. When we arrived we waited almost 8 minutes at the ordering box for someone to take our order. Alright, things happen. We order and pull up. We then spent almost 20 minutes at the window waiting for (2) burgers and (3) shakes. But they only gave me (2) shakes so I explained no we ordered (3). The cashier turns to a woman with a black hat on that reads "MANAGER" and says we needed another milkshake. She rolls her eyes, scoffs, and turns away. Waited for the third milkshake. Get everything home and a burger is missing. Not even worth going back to the burger we bought. This is my favorite fast food burger joint. Great burger at a fair price just like they used to make before I was even born. I feed the whole family of 4 there for less than $20 including drinks and ice cream. The only thing holding this place back is it is kind of a dump (which I personally have a fondness for) and the customer service is lacking a bit. Some years back, I took home a bag of burger-related food from here. I lived just up the hill from Burger Ranch. Due to facial hair, I have to eat hamburgers with a fork, and it was a good thing I did because my fork hit...metal? I investigated, and there was a big bolt in my burger. No joke. When I called them, at first the manager treated me like I was a liar making it up. Then he sent someone to check around...and found that their lettuce slicer was missing a bolt. And could I please hurry back there and bring them their bolt back, because, uh, the lettuce slicer needed it and it was not working? Given their attitude, I told them they could come get the bolt if they wanted, but that I was too busy to bring it back. Maybe I could get to it in a few days. The manager hung up, making clear that he thought I was very unkind. Very oddly: a couple of days later, my electronics-related business got a call from Burger Ranch. They wanted some Microsoft software. I told them I didn't sell software, but that they could buy it at a store. They asked if I could just give them a copy for a lower price. Talk about insulting my intelligence and a clumsy revenge move. Of course, I told them no, that would be software piracy. This place is gross. They messed up my burger. I ordered it plain and they put ketchup on it. Not a problem as I just asked them to fix it and it would be fine. Get the replacement food and they just scrapped the ketchup off the bottom and gave me a new bottom bun. I just can't believe a restaurant would do that. We didn't eat here, when we walked in the smell was overwhelming. It smelled musty or moldy. Then we walked past a fountain filled with brown water, it was disgusting.
