This is my favorite burger place in the area, just narrowly beating out Zips. It's a little pricier than most fast food places, with sandwiches alone costing $3.50-$6.50, but they're big enough to be worth it. They've also got corn dogs, hot dogs and ice cream on the menu. I've never had any problems with the service, and the drive thru is always super fast, even on larger orders. I recommend this place to anyone I know visiting town. read more

I like that they promote with the "American's" Hockey team ~ and with the win on Saturday (and still holding my tickets from the game) our family went to try them out. Management: Hold on to your hat ~ this is going to be a bumpy ride... Great service can make up for so-so food. Great food can make up for so-so service. The issue here is: The service was poor from one staffer, and really good from another. The amount of time it took before our order was taken was rather lengthy. When the staff member did make it to the counter to take our order, he was very up beat, had a smile on his face the whole time, and really made us feel welcomed. Ordering was easy, and accurate. We had the free burgers (from the Americans' win) and a pound of fries. The fry sauce was ok, nothing compared to the fry sauce I had down around the Salt Lake City. The worst part was: After we finished our normal meal, my wife ordered a Hot Fudge Sunday ~ and the fudge was burnt. One of the staffers said to the other, they needed to change it out, and the female staffer just fixed one up with the burnt fudge and gave it to my wife like there was nothing wrong. My wife heard the comment, and saw the staffer acknowledge the fact that it was burnt ~ and still the staffer served it. What's kinda scary ~ I've been to worse places. I did see staff members taking time to clean, and keep up with the trash. But the ole song about one bad apple spoils the whole bunch comes to mind. One of the best things I can say about the time there: The other customers that came. We met another "Americans" couple, and had a great conversation with them. And with my family being new to the Tri-Cities, this was very nice. Will I give them another shot: Yeah, I will, but I hope that Management takes a moment to start looking closely as to how this ship is sailing ~ because I'm seeing water coming on board and it could eventually sink her. read more

We went to Burger Ranch for an early lunch. The burgers were bland. I ordered the special which was a bacon & and ham hamburger. It was missing bacon... My hubby didn't like the chili cheese fries at all... they were thrown away. He did say the large strawberry shake he ordered was good though. But for being a "large" he was curious how big the small was, because the large was tiny! On the plus side, staff was friendly, and we got our order very quickly! read more

I was shocked today when I went to the drive through and was treated so rudely. The person at the drive-through had trouble hearing what I was ordering . It was back and forth for awhile . I tried to be as loud as possible , and as nice as possible, because I am a nice person. The person taking my order finally said " Wait what did you order again? What was the first thing you ordered"? I said "A large fry and a Corn dog." She then said through the speaker "Wow ok , that's random". Stunned, I said "Wait, what's random about my order? " She then laughed ,said something I couldn't make out, and through her giggling said, " Oh sorry I mean, it's just kind of a random order"! Wow this place is just unbelievable I think the poor kid at the speaker was new becuase she couldn't get my order right so I drove up to the window to tell them my order i waited about 10 minutes for them to get my order wrong anyways.I walked inside to speak to the manager wich she stated her name was Elma boy did she have a attitude problem she wanted to see a receipt stood there and argued with me stating that she heard me order and said i wanted it this way 1st of all lady that barely speaks good english I know what i ordered and what i said you rather argue with a customer about 1 burger than to get it replaced if i were a girl i probably would have slapped her with the rude attitude and the rolling of the eyes she gave me she was just plain rude and very disrespectful I dnt know how any owner has this lady running their store the customers behind me were in shock for the way she was yelling and talking to me.I will nevr be back in this place ever again this place has definitely gone downhill big time the owner needs to get people who know how to treat their customers! read more

Burger Ranch is a dumpy little joint in the run down part of town. I went there only because my friends picked the place. The burgers are what you would expect from a place of that stature. The customer service was unfriendly. The server had the appearance and attitude of the typical white/trailer trash. The decor and menu made the place feel that much cheaper. The person who served me stuck her water bottle up into the lemonade dispenser; very unsanitary and unthoughtful. One good thing they have is the Sweet Potato Fries. Other than that..meh. read more

I grew up enjoying the legendary Big Ranch burger here. For years, this was the place in town to come for a good, down-to-earth cheeseburger. Alas, how far the star has fallen. On the most recent visit to this burger joint, now more fitting for Quahog than Tri-Cities, it was one disappointment after the other. First, the burgers. No sauce whatsoever, we did not receive the burger we ordered, and the lettuce was slimy at best. No one was in the restaurant, yet the food somehow managed to be lukewarm. Second, the fries. Overcooked yet cold, they were burned to a crisp. Which, would be fine if you could drench them in that awesome fry sauce. Problem here? You're now only allowed two little containers of fry sauce, which each happen to be more empty than full. And finally, the fish tank. Mmm, I definitely wanted to smell rotting fish shit through my entire meal. I'm pretty sure that fountain was last cleaned when I came here in kindergarten. Perhaps next time I'll stay home and chew on charcoal. read more

I do not recommend this place for one good reason; No not the bad service, even though it's terrible, not that the place is a dump and gives me the heebie jeebies, even though it is. The reason I will never go there again is because the last few times I had gone I had noticed that the meat in the burgers tasted like some kind of awful mystery meat. I actually tracked down the manager and asked him if he served 100% beef burgers and he admitted to me that no he did not. He used soy filler and he didn't see a problem because hardly anyone complained. Well I have never gone back. I've tried to call a few times over the years to see if they have switched to all beef, but they will NEVER answer their phone. This was the most horrible burger I've ever experienced. It had someone else's lettuce on it. They used absolutely no seasoning on cheap meat. It was sloppy. My children found gummy black stuff in their hotdogs. The fries were salty. The service was horrible. They are to expensive to serve such crap. My family won't be back. read more

We found out her name and it is Alma and apparently she is the manager??? Ordered a Chicken Sandwich and got a sliced Turkey sandwich instead and ordered the cheese burger deluxe and it was not a deluxe at all and I'm pretty sure she stepped on it, it was flatter than a pancake!! If you are the OWNER of this establishment, and reading this right now you would be wise to get rid of her Now!! Go talk to all your employees and see what they say about her. Great place to eat! The burgers taste great and they have even better fries! Many milkshake flavors to choose from and they are ten times better and cheaper than Zips. They have an excellent menu with lots of food to choose from! A really great variety! The customer service is good and there quick to get you your food. They have the best shakes that are one of a kind ranging from Pumpkin spice to the best shake of all Candy Cane. If you have kids they have the cheapest kids meals in town! 10/10 anyday! read more

Wow I cant believe how hard it was to make an order here! Went to the drive thru ordered over speaker then had to reorder 3 more times at window. Waited 10+mins got food and they forgot a cheeseburger. Went inside to get burger then they wanted to see the receipt. Looked throughout the bag and they didnt give us one! Went back inside to get our $1.49 cheeseburger that they should have just given us the benefit of the doubt instead of hassling us for a receipt, since obviously they were having trouble with the order process. One of our burgers had a hair in it and for 30+ dollars of food not worth it! I wish zero stars was an option save ur money and go to to McDonald's. read more

Went for lunch today. The last two times I have been there, my friend and I were not treated very well. Today we told the lady at the window we had to separate orders and had to wait longer after she had already asked what we would like to order. We got to the window. Wasn't greeted for 4 minutes. Finally was able to pay and get our food. Got back to work, I didn't even get what I ordered. Usually get fries with my order and was not given that either. I can't believe this place is still around. I would definitely like to find a traditional, friendly diner here in the Tri-Cities and. even though their food is OK, it's not what I was looking for. The food was bland and dry, even the waitress said that their food is not great and there drinks selection is not the best in the world... It gets one star because the fries and the fry sauce were good. The burger was not. I got "big ranch burger" took one bite and had to throw it away. The meat did not taste like beef, plus it also tasted like it was cooked in a dirty microwave. It was absolutely disgusting. I am so confused by how bad it was. When I was in high school I used to go to Burger Ranch all the time and it was so good. Its probably been a good 6-8 years since I've been there though. I went there last month around Valentine's Day with my girlfriend, the environment was sketchy, the cashier was rude, we order a teriyaki hamburger and a Hawaii burger too. So glad Susan wrote the manager said it was soy filler. We thought for sure we were going to get food poisoning, very strange off-taste. Complained to the one that served us but she didn't say or do anything. We can't afford to eat out often and had eaten here over a year ago. It sure has changed.
