Burger Stop is a great place for lunch. The menu has a wide variety of food to choose from. My fav is the hoagie on ficcocca bread, served by Nick (pix). Owners Judy & Vinny Jr. runs the place flawlessly

    I like this place

I eat here once a month, it's not bad, it's fast food that is cheaper and better than chains. 90% of the time I get a good chicken sandwich. The other 10% they did something different like forgot bacon or tomato or lettuce. I had all three happen believe it or not. Still it's good most of the time and the so call "witch" doesn't work here anymore :) neither does the older woman with tuberculous thankfully. Q

    Nice homey interior.

A good place to get a fast bite to eat. They have lunch specials everyday. You can get wraps, burgers, hot dogs. You name it. They also own the pizza place next door which is just as good. I don't know why the other bad reviews? It's family owned by people that are very nice and care about this place. I always get asked if everything was great when I pay, and never had a bad experience. If your looking for a no frills dinner or lunch with or without the kids that won't break the bank try it here. You'll like it!

Maybe add some meat to the pastrami sandwich next time - this place sucks.

Especially for a restaurant that has an omnivore menu - the vegan items were actually amazingly good! I got the seasoned fried tofu and cauliflower bites from the starter menu, and both my omnivorous boyfriend and his brother were also impressed with them. My boyfriend and his brother got meat items and also raved about how good their dishes were - not just the entrees but also the sides as well. We were also impressed that such good food came at a very affordable price. Our server (who may have been the owner) was very friendly and came to check on us multiple times while we were eating and refilled our water glasses. We came at an off-time, so it wasn't busy at all. There was music in the background but it wasn't super loud or anything, so we could comfortably have conversations with each other without needing to talk louder.

There's no rush, nor should there be, you're with family, vibing to good music and eating great food. Everything there is prepared fresh and from scratch and you can taste it in every bite. I most recently did the brunch and the shrimp and grits were fantastic, plated beautifully and good portions. The sides are super affordable and allow for an array of options. My daughter loves the banana bread, I love the bacon and hash browns. This is also BYOB, which keeps a longer meal affordable. Service is nice, and they kind of keep to themselves as it's more about the food and the folks you're with. We've been 4 times and never had a bad experience, a great addition to the heights.

What a warm, friendly, neighborhood mom 'n' pop restaurant--exactly the kind I love to support. While our food took a bit of time to arrive, it was clearly made from scratch with TLC. You could practically taste it in every bite. Throw in the fact that menu is mostly tried-and-true American comfort food, and you've got a winning combination for an easy dinner that won't break the bank. Our housemade Fish Cakes were perfectly fried, stuffed with fish, and felt like something you'd eat from a stand in downtown Kingston, Jamaica. The Four Cheese Mac 'n' Cheese--at just $10--was a large enough portion for two peoples, made with thinner than traditional macaroni noodles and a lovely broiled top that imparted a smokey char. But the star of the show was undoubtedly the namesake burger. It's one of the best burgers I've had in a long, long time. The grass-fed beef was so perfectly cooked--all the hearty meat flavor you could want and full of succulent jus. The other accompaniments were placed perfectly within the rich, toasted brioche bun, making every bite feel like the culinary equivalent of Jon Bon Jovi singing in your mouth (or insert other American musical icon of your choice). Even the fries were stellar, like Richie Sambora crooning harmony next to Jon.

I had the Lincoln Harbor roll which was EXCELLENT. Even my friend who does not like sushi liked it I also had the Blu Filet mignon which was stuff with blue cheese. I'm more of a rib eye gal but I wanted to try it with the blue steak and was pretty good and the truffled cream Spanish was just wow . You have to like truffle like I do :) Friend had shrimp cocktail and the lobster fra diavolo and love it as well . The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a high end restaurant, which is another reason we'll return. As for the food, some bit hits, some just good, not great. We started with cocktails (which they have a really wild variety of) with their Rice Cakes. The tuna on top was fresh and the rice cake was nice and chewy. Definitely a hit. For an entree I order a filet with a side of whipped potatoes. The potato's were the big hit of the night. They were full of cheese crumbles for added flavor. Highly recommend. My steak was good, but not great. Having said that, at $55, I'd say it was a tremendous value. We also shared a Cesar salad which was sort of a wedge salad. Very tasty, my wife appreciated the deviled eggs on top, while I would prefer without. Not a big fan of eggs. Based on the very polite and attentive service, atmosphere, location and value, we look forward to returning soon.

The ambiance is…read moreperfect--moody, upscale, and consistently chic--making it a great choice for a high-end night out. The Food: The star of the night was the Spicy Rigatoni. The creamy Calabrian pepper tomato sauce delivers a legitimate, vibrant heat that doesn't hold back. Breaking into the Italian burrata is essential; the creamy center beautifully tempers the spice, while the micro basil adds a nice hit of freshness. We also started with the truffle fries, which were executed perfectly--crispy, aromatic, and a total highlight. The Service: While the food was top-tier, the service wasn't great which is why I deducted 2 whole stars. I ordered a ginger ale that never made it to the table, yet it still appeared on our final bill - not cool. It's a small detail, but at this level of dining and price point, you expect those things to be caught. Also, the service overall was pretty slow which was disappointing. Verdict: Even with the minor billing oversight, the culinary execution is elite. If you're a fan of bold, spicy pasta and a great atmosphere, this is still a JC must-visit. Just double-check your tab!
