    Prime Vermont Burger
    Eileen D.

Big, bright, open ... and on the waterfront. This restaurant is lovely! A little imposing for out of towners, but we forged ahead. It was "late lunch" hour and it may have been between shifts, but service was incredibly slow, despite not initially being very crowded. As we eventually wrapped up our meal, a number of groups coming from graduations began to arrive. I hope it went a little better for them. The food, though, was stupendous! The Crunchy Rice Cakes with tuna tartare were a new experience for me, and I loved them. Everything tasted fresh and was pleasantly presented. The Honey Burrata Salad and The Jamon Iberico Salad were also a delight for the eyes and the mouth. Fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Numerous in our party ordered the Prime Vermont Burger and none were disappointed. Delicious all around! There were many interesting offerings we didnt get to try, but everything looked good. The only disappointment was the service. People were nice, but sloooowwww.

Went here for the second time and the food didn't disappoint. The sushi here is delicious and comparable to a high end sushi restaurant. The other menu items we ordered were also delicious. The location is also amazing directly on the Hudson River with a beautiful unobstructed view of Manhattan. The service was okay and an 18% gratuity was automatically included in our check for some reason and it was just my partner and I dining in. The hostess brought us back to a table only for a table not to be available. We had to stand for a few minutes in the back waiting for a table, only to be told that we would have to sit at the bar if we wanted to dine. Other than that it was a good experience and we would return again.

We were staying at the Hyatt House nearby and decided to try this place for dinner. It was a great decision. The menu offers plenty of appetizers, pizzas, sushi and entrees. We started with the crispy shrimp bao buns and they tasted great. For my entree I had the seafood chitarra. It had clams, shrimp, Calabria peppers, spaghetti and parmesan cheese. It was a very tasty dish. My husband had the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes, carrots and au jus. He absolutely loved his dish.

This was our third time here it is a very beautiful place overlooking the nyc views. We were able to sit outside. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, which was good. We also order the Greek salad amazing and we also order the oxtail croquette, which we're very yummy will order again. The service was excellent the server was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Grilled Scottish Salmon (GF, CF) with a side of mashed potatoes without the Romaine lettuce.

This place was such a good find. The food is pricey but I think you are paying for the view. There is a great view of the city from this dining area. The customer service was great and the ambience was nice as well. The bathroom was super clean and inviting. I had the Grilled Scottish Salmon and asked for the lettuce to be replaced with a side of mashed potatoes. My colleague ordered the same thing and asked for a side of spinach, and we shared the sides. It was the best decision. The Salmon was so well seasoned it was a pleasant surprise.

Hudson & Co. Bar and Grill 3 2nd. St. Suite 150 Jersey City, NJ 07311 Braised Short Ribs Pressed Young Chicken This is one of many restaurants in the downtown area conveniently located along the Hudson River esplanade. Braised Short Ribs: The thinly shredded was tender and juicy and the au jus was out of this world. The sides were the backbone to this Omar's Pressed Young Chicken: Take the name of this entrée literally; the chicken is smaller inside contributing to its extra tenderness. The meat easily fell of the bone. While both the main course and its sides were tasty, but my main critique is to increase the overall portion size. Otherwise, this is a perfect dining experience especially if you want to view the Manhattan skyline while you dine. #hudsoncobarandgrill #hudsonandcobarandgrill #downtownjerseycity #braisedshortribs #youngpressedchicken

Celebrated my friend's birthday here over the weekend. Easy commute from the city near the PATH train on exchange place station. The cocktails were tasty, I had the strawberry fields forever and my friend had the purple rain. Food was very good too, for appetizers we ordered the crispy shrimp bao buns and oxtail croquettes. We also shared the hellfire sushi roll and the seafood chitarra. My favorites were the crispy shrimp bao buns and hellfire sushi roll. The ambiance is beautiful, this waterfront restaurant has the most amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. Service was also great, our server did provide us some recommendations on cocktails and food. For dessert, we had the Bella's warm cookie skillet which was delicious. I was charged $2 each on bread and butter which I noticed after I already paid for the bill. I know bread and butter are not always complimentary but it would have been nice if the server mentioned it. Overall, it was a fun girls day and I would definitely come back.

This place was crazy busy early Friday evening especially the bar! We were looking for a few drinks with a view. Only a small portion of the bar faces the water but we were able to squeeze in for a round of really good stiff drinks. Maybe the patio will open soon. Bar staff were nice and made great drinks worth the price.

Nothing beats a waterfront view along New Jersey's Gold Coast, a roughly 20-mile stretch from Fort Lee to Bayonne. It's no secret these spectacular sights are best taken in with a magnificent meal. Located on 2nd Street in Jersey City's Harborside, this 12,000-square-foot space is hard to miss with wide-open floor-to-ceiling windows where my company celebrated last night a milestone anniversary overlooking NYC even though the sky began grey but ended the festivity with a spectacular treat of the shimmering skyline. Upon entering Hudson & Co. as first-timers, my colleague and I were greeted by the host and struck by its nautically themed vibe with basket-weave floor tiles, suspended oversized coffers, hammered copper wall insets, wrought iron Revolutionary War beam chandeliers, and steampunk lighting. The establishment offers fantastic views, no matter where one sits--inside or outside. Their menu is simple, eclectic, and heavily skewed towards seafood, with gastropub-centered choices such as from Sushi, Grilled Spanish Octopus, Smoked Brûlée Burrata and Mac & Cheese as appetizers and Mediterranean Sea Bass, Seafood Chitarra, Young Pressed Chicken, Braised Short Ribs, and NY Strip Steak & Frites for the main meal. Dessert was featured with Crème Brûlée, Molten Lava Cake or Gelato Trio. Our meal was absolutely delicious, where the flavors were rich, cooked to perfection, and the portion size was generous. Our server, Evelyn, and the staff were absolutely fantastic, informative, and attentive to our table. Special thanks to the general manager, Roman, as every detail was thought of, and it made for one of the most memorable celebrations we've ever had, which we can recommend.

Had a great experience here. Our waiter Cory was amazing, provided phenomenal customer service and very friendly. The drinks were good - their new menu is coming out soon - and the food was delicious. We got: oxtail croquettes, crispy spicy tuna, seafood chitarra, and shrimp bao buns. They were all incredible - this is a spot I would definitely come back to. The incredible skyline view also adds to the overall experience.

It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.
