There are some very odd reviews of this restaurant on Yelp. The delivery charge listed was $2 (for the person who's complaint was a two hour delivery time and four dollar charge) and most sandwiches at a restaurant do not list every ingredient / veggie in them (onion girl). Maybe you only eat at Subway, home of the bread that has plastic in it. Anyway, most reviews in this town are poorly formed, and most restaurants in West New York under-perform (food and service) and they are overpriced. We ordered a spinach and sausage pizza that was tasty and had very high quality ingredients. The buffalo wings were juicy, but we thought they could have been a bit spicier (more flavor and hotter). They also catered a party I went to, and the pulled pork and veggies were awesome. They were seasoned correctly.

As many reviewers pointed out, this is a hit or miss spot. We ordered pork fritata, baby skirt steak, and side of maduros. The pork and steak were overly cooked and super dry - how is it even possible to have dry skirt steak??? The only thing about the pork fritata that I enjoyed is the avocado. For the value, I agree it was worth it but you are not getting quality food. Yes, the food look delicious but the foods are very photogenic so don't be deceived by the pictures!

Garlic bread with my pasta dish. Pretty good and soft!

Ordered from this place at eat24 for the first time. Had a pizza w/ pepperoni, bacon and meatballs. I liked it a lot. Meatballs tasted like meatloaf in a good way! It looks like they took the time to evenly distribute the toppings which I appreciate!! Especially at a late hour! I also tried the pasta with sausage, peppers and onions. Asked for al dente pasta and they delivered on that! My only not so fab complaint was the amount of liquid in the pasta dish and lack of cheese. Fast delivery and super affordable prices!!! 2nd order came fast - consistent there. Tried the Bolognese - it was not what I was expecting but what was tasty. Ground beef, im carrots, onions and celery...is that the usual way of making that?.. The Reuben was meh. Empty and all of the ingredients piled into the center. The potatoes and cheese are literally mashed potatoes that they pan fried and melted cheese on - not bad!

    Horrible mozzarella sticks

I order through grubhub all the time (although the delivery fee sucks) and everything is always really good! Today when I got my order it wasn't as great as usual. The mozzarella sticks were completely crushed and there were only four (normally 6) .. I mean, they look horrible I'm surprised they would even send those out. Taquitos were different than normal and had beans and cheese on them .....they also didn't provide the guacamole sauce they normally do. They were good today but they were much better before when they were simple. I also got a veggie burger (which was great, I always love their veggie burgers) but the bread was seriously rock hard, it's usually soft and amazing!

Full skirt steak was on the money..

I know this is an absolute staple in the area and it has its own regulars and cult following. However, if I wanted to go out for Italian food, I would not pick this place. In fact, every time I go here, it's always because of someone else's suggestion. There are some things on here that are fine - the pizza, for example, is sufficient. Their salads are also decent - usually large and fresh. But I've had some of their other hot foods and have been majorly disappointed. The calamari - from a bag, greasy. The grilled chicken panini - no flavor at all. I asked for balsamic vinegar and they had none, which is wild for an Italian restaurant. Even the wine tasted stale the last time I went here. I will give props to the waiters who are always very accommodating and pleasant. The vibe here is nothing fancy - more like a step up from a pizzeria, great to go after a movie or another activity. Like I said, this just wouldn't be my first choice for Italian food because there are much better places in the area, IMO.

Both main dishes could have easily been split up for 4 people. The Calamari as well-- which is considered the smaller portion-- is absolutely enough for 2. They gave bread and butter, as well as a simple salad which is always appreciated. Yes, this place is BYOB and the service was kind enough to offer an ice bucket as well. The food was delicious-- I loved my seafood pasta dish, their muscles were soft and clams were cooked just right. They even put fresh basil on every pasta dish. Only con I found was the overstimulating environment -- it is also an antique shop so there's many bags, jewelry cases, and many other interesting items everywhere. Cool concept, but I think with more elevation, and a better location, this place can really get a kick.

It was an honest mistake. The car was there for around an hour, the lot was mostly empty with plenty of open spaces, and the lot itself is a good distance from the restaurant with no valet or staff present on site. Even if there is signage somewhere, it clearly wasn't visible or obvious enough for a normal person to realize, yet they still chose to tow the car within about an hour despite there being no urgency and no shortage of parking. The towing company Patsy's partners with then charged over $300 in storage and payment fees, including charges that NJ Consumer Affairs later required to be refunded, and they refused to release the vehicle while still charging storage for days. During that time, I had to rely on Ubers to get home and get around, adding even more unnecessary cost and inconvenience. It took nearly two months working with investigators before the towing company finally issued the refund -- the investigator even had to follow up more than once before they complied. Patsy's is responsible for the vendors they choose and how their policies impact people. Partnering with such an aggressive towing company and allowing something like this to happen -- especially when the neighboring lot wasn't full, the car wasn't there long, and it wasn't even clear the lot belonged to them -- says a lot. The experience was unnecessary, stressful, and entirely avoidable, and people should be aware of how they handle situations like this. Because of this, I won't be dining at Patsy's going forward, and I'd strongly encourage others to think carefully before choosing to do so.
