Quick drive-thru for a tasty quarter-pound cheeseburger and small soda. Great price = $8.50 for both. They also offer "baskets" with fries as well as hot dogs, onion rings, fish sandwiches, milkshakes, and lots of other items on their very complete menu. On an evening drive we decided to stop by this little stand for some milkshakes and a kids meal for the bottomless pit of the teenager The cost was way too high! The service was irritating and slow! The food was fried and fine. My husband opted for a sundae instead of a milkshake. Pretty sure dumping some Oreos on a cup of ice cream isn't exactly a sundae. Would we go back? Absolutely not. I had a ham cheeseburger with two slices of fried ham on it with tater tots and my husband has the Kraken fish and chips and he said it was good. He said the tartar sauce was not homemade, but it was OK and he had the fries which were battered fries. One friend had the chili cheeseburger and cleaned his container up so I'm assuming it was really good and our other friend had a bacon cheeseburger as well. There were tons of tater tots. I couldn't eat them all and that may be the first time in my life I've never eaten all my tater tots ha ha Please were so friendly. My Fiancé went through the drive thru here on our way up north and we weren't disappointed! Every time we are in Mt. Angel I say I need to stop in. The line was super short, so we were able to order quickly and get our food quickly as well. We both got the deluxe cheese burger and I got tots and she got fries. We also ordered a butterscotch milkshake. I can't say enough good things about this place. Our burgers were so good, I can't complain at all! They were juicy and the veggies were so fresh and crisp. Delicious reasonable burgers and seriously the kindest employees in Oregon! We stopped by after a long hike at Silver Fall for dinner and were ravenous, so no pics. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my son had the kids' cheeseburger; we had tots on the side. The burger patties were so flavorful (I think I saw a sign saying the beef was local), the bacon done perfectly, and the bun was more like the kind you'd find at some high-end burger place, not a drive-through. The young women working there were so helpful and responsive - they are really focused on great customer service to an extent I haven't seen in a long time. (The place also had a great COVID safety setup, which is so important right now, and even decent masks for sale!) I love these old time Birger drive ups and this one proved to be the perfect lunch solution as we were helping a family member move. As the state was still pretty locked down the drive through was our only option. I ordered chicken tenders and my husband ordered a double patty cheeseburger. I always ask for only pickle, and everytime I get everything on it so I always have to go back in and have them remake my burger but this time the lady proceeds to not use gloves and makes excuses when I asked her to why she didn't use gloves. Burger has the perfect taste, the basket order came with a very generous portion of beautifully crispy and breaded fries, and I also got their onion rings which also came with lots in the order. Prices are fine..a little high but I know everyone has raised their prices so it was about what I expected. One downside was that they may be short staffed so expect a longer wait. Also, the drive-thru blocks some of the parking so be aware of that. I felt like I was in the way but what can you do, I was in line for the drive-thru! Great little place with great prices and plenty of menu choices. The inside has 7 table tops and is very clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Our food was tasty and exceeded our expectations. The 1/4 lb. bacon and cheese basket is a great deal and a great meal. The bacon was perfectly crispy and covered the whole patty like a bacon patty on top of a burger patty. The fish and chips were very yummy. I wish I had malt vinegar but I didn't bother to ask so I settled with the lemon juice. Normally I eat ALL my fries FIRST then move onto other items. The fries are delicious even after I came back to them and that was a pleasant surprise. I loved this little joint in the cute town of Mount Angel. Even the bathroom was very clean. We have always loved this place. The food is nice and they actually have a veggie burger that is not a beyond burger. Beyond burgers just seem a bit to close to meat for me so I appreciate a nice veggie burger. I think I love this little place more after last Wednesday. I was the very first person in line for the day and shut off my car while I waited. Other cars pulled up behind me and I could see the employees doing double time. I got my food and went to start my car and nothing. It was just dead. So I wave to the lady inside and tell her the problem and she said okay stick or automatic. I said automatic and she said okay and disappeared. I am sitting in my car so embarressed and here comes this little red car that whips right up to me. She gets out and jumps my car in a few minutes. After all, there's not many options for food in Mt. Angel. We were heading to Tiny's to watch the Ducks roll Colorado Beefalos. Since they have a VERY limited menu, we thought a quick burger would do the trick. Burger Time is located right off the main road and is easy to access. We decided to go inside to get our food and sit at a booth. The inside was clean and well organized. They have Burgers, Milk Shakes, Fries, Hot dogs, Turkey Burgers and a few other deep fried items. It's exactly what you would expect at a place like this. I ordered a Deluxe Cheeseburger. It was forgetable... NOTHING about the burger stood out, other than it was just made and it was still warm. The temperature of your food should not be the highlight to a meal. To my surprise, the fries were decent...hot and crisp, appeared to be some type of battered french fries. What did bother me while eating was seeing a girl get a bag of lettuce from the walk-in. Ok...even the lettuce is bagged. This is Mt. Angel were produce is EVERYWHERE. You guys can't even use fresh lettuce? The fact it was bagged is minor. The fact the lady used her hands to make food, then used her hands to pull the lettuce out of the bag about made me gag. Would it have been so hard or time consuming, to put on some gloves before digging around in the toppings? Maybe even some soap and water? Bluh... I would like to see this place get away from bagged and frozen, to fresh and FRESH! Fresh hand pressed burgers with fresh veggies and toppings. That's what really makes a difference. If you're not going to dress it up with bleu cheese, chipotle, pineapple, or whatever flavors there may be....at least make a simple burger that's fresh and sustainable. read more

I don't eat fast food often, but when I get the craving for a milkshake and fries this is where I go. I love that they make it easy to not use any plastic. I decided to try this place on a friends recommendation. I arrived at about 2:30 pm on a Wednesday 3/28, ordered my food to dine in as I was on a motorcycle. Ordered, picked a tablet and waited, my milkshake arrived quickly but after about 15 minuets of waiting for my burger and fries and seeing people get their food before me that had ordered after me I went to the counter and asked where my order was. I was asked to tell her what my order was and then she says sorry we must of lost the order, then a young girl diner speaks up from the dinning area "oh is this your food they gave it to me but I didn't order it sorry " I then ask the employee to refund the portion of my order that they had not delivered and was met with "I don't know how to do that, can we make it for you now" no please call your manger and refund my order I need to get to an appointment. She calls but no answer and again she asked to make it for me to go, I show her my motorcycle helmet... how am I going to eat and ride? I ask for my refund and again I am told she doesn't know how to do this. So I am forced to leave without my food and without a refund. Poor training, poor management and a thief. For 'fast food,' this place is the best. It has your standard burgers, fries and ice cream. But unlike McD's, it is all made while you wait, and therefore fresh. Service is usually very nice. Amazing little burger place in the small town of Mt Angel. I ordered the chicken strip dinnner it was cooked to order came with their amazing seasoned French fries. I ordered their home fry sauce to dip my chicken and fries and it and in al honesty was some of the best fry Sauce I've ever encountered. Everything about my meal was absolutely delicious. Very few burger places offer fried mushrooms and I always order those when I visit. If you are in Mount Angel, this is the place for a great burger, fries, and a Milkshake.
