HORRIBLE..order was comletely wrong ,,fries were burnt and awful ,,,burgers were very very thin ,,AND,hard as a rock

Excellent food, walk up window or drive through they make a quality burger, been coming here since I was a kid at least once a year.

For thirty years I would occasionally dine at this location. A couple of months ago was my last time. What happened? Burger was cold and burnt. Fries must have been scraped up off the floor.Or were the dirty burnt scraps left over in the basket. Came in a cup? I couldn't even eat one bite of this overpriced garbage with out gagging. Why? New careless employees? New management? The place needs to be shut down. What a dump! Never again. read more

Ordered the burger and my friend ordered the bacon cheeseburger hamburger tasted really good fresh no fillers. The french fries were homemade cut and they were made with perfection. Really glad we stopped at this place and the price was right will be stopping here again read more

Tried today for first time. The burgers remind me a lot of Whataburger in texas. Fresh patty meat, large, goes right out to the edge of the bun. You gotta use two hands to hold this thing. I got a double bacon cheeseburger. The cheese was the perfect type. The buns hold up very nice, fresh tasting. Perfect amount of condiments. I can't ask for anything better and really think they deserve a full five stars. They keep the menu simple like a Shake shack or In N Out. Fries are thinner, delicious. Quick service even with a line of cars. I have nothing bad to complain about. Best burger in St. Cloud. If you prefer Culver's, I understand but try a real local owned place for a nice treat. Looks can be deceiving.... While this place is not pretty to look at from the outside and they have an old sign and old speaker box that is hard to communicate through ... their food is AMAZING! Their hamburgers are yummy... the fries (definitely not healthy) taste like what French fries should taste like and don't forget the funnel cake fries! Absolutely yummy! Service is fast. I generally like to visit a place a few times before I rate them just because sometimes things are a fluke and I like to make sure I am giving the establishment a fair and honest rating. With that being said I had a chicken sandwich with cheese the first few times and it is always good. This day I came in I decided to try their burgers, I had a barbecue bacon burger and it was really good. The food is always fresh and the staff is always polite. I have yet to find something I don't like, all in all this place is definitely a diamond in the rough. If you're ever in St Cloud and you want a great place to get a burger or a chicken sandwich then look no further. read more

This place was convenient for the two hotels, as you might be able to see in the picture the eatery was in the background. I had the jalapeño burger with bacon, fries and a shake. I grew up with a Burger Time in town and it was always one of my favorite places. I eat at this location every time info to the Hobby Lobby on the next block over. So at least every other month. The prices here are excellent. We feed 4 of us for $20. And the servings are more than generous. The burgers are always flavorful and they are good size. I would guess a 1/4 or 1/3 lb patty. And the fries are comparable to a large at McDonalds. They have some of the best onion rings I have ever had. This location is drive thru or walk up only. They do have picnic tables outside to eat at. They are always a steady busy or very busy. But service is quick. I have been the 8th car in line and still been in line for less than 10 minutes. The reason I give four stars is because of the parking lot. It is definitely a MN lot. Plenty of potholes and gravel. Uneven. It so badly needs to be resurfaced. And it doesn't help that's they also have a very small lot. I think there are maybe 10-12 spots. I will continue to eat here. I love this place. read more

I have been to Burger Time several times, and it's a solid burger joint, especially for the spring/summer when you can sit outside. I usually just go through the drive thru myself. I like to get the mushroom and swiss burger, fries, and a shake. Their shakes are really big, and there's enough to share with someone! The hamburger meat on the mushroom and swiss burger is fresh, and is well cooked. The mushrooms on it are pretty good, but could be better. The mushrooms taste like they may come from a can. Their fries are always hot and the portion sizes are generous. When I took my boyfriend there for the first time, he also got the chicken fingers, which were nice and crispy. The only critique I would have for their chicken fingers is their size. They are very small, and left me craving for more after we had them. If you want a place to just swing by for a quick meal with the family, this place will do the trick! It's family owned and the service is quick. read more

Burger Time is one of my favorite burger joints in the area. There burgers taste like a Whopper should if it was cooked fresh from local ingredients. They have the best cheese curds in town. The breading is just thick enough to contain the melting cheese contained within. They are so fresh, they squeak when eaten. Shakes are okay, nothing to get too excited about. Others have said it, but it bears repeating: don't expect a super friendly greeting from the staff at the window. Think sullen teenage boy answering a mundane question from his father. She made me feel like I was interrupting her or bothering her during my order. My husband and I ordered separately and he didn't know that an ingredient was not standard on the sandwich. He took money out of his wallet while I was ordering and asked to have it added to his sandwich. It was clear that he was going to pay for it. She took it upon herself to charge me for it. Firstly, we live less than 5 minutes away from BT but mysteriously our food (that we got to go) was cold by the time we arrived home. The portions are really large, but that's about all they've got going for themselves--my fries were limp, soggy, and over-salted and the burger was falling apart, with a patty extremely overdone and dry. My partner assured me his Mushroom Swiss burger was much better, and that his vanilla shake was quite tasty, but for the most part, I do not think we'll be back for a second attempt. It's like a bunch were cooked up at once then microwaved to reheat or something. The bun & other toppings were good, but I only took a few bites and gave the patty to my dog. The fries were hot & tasty but over salted. The cheese part of the cheese curds was delicious! Wasn't a fan of the breading, it was really greasy, but this might come down to personal taste. I haven't been to a burger time in 10 years but as a kid, my father would take us there a few times a year and I loved it. Guess what! Turns out I still do!!!! Mushroom and swiss is heaven. The cheese curds are sinfully good! I am a cheese curd snob and boy I tell you, Burger Time CHEESE CURDS might actually be the best curds I've ever had! Great bang for your buck! Went to your Waite Park location today and was totally disgusted. Got my burger and didn't know there was onions on it, this being my first visit, and was picking off the onions only to find a long black hair in with the mayo. Brought it back and showed it to the employee and the girl cook from the back came up and goes yup, that mine, sorry.
