Freddy's came up when we were looking. This particular location is slightly awkward to get to, but not horrible. The interior has plenty of seating if you plan to stay. Our service was quick. I got a kids meal which was just the perfect amount and still got some custard. However, theu seem to pre-scoop this with sprinkles and put it in the freezer so it was hard as a rock. I'm AMAZED I don't know about this place. I literally ordered from here because it was one of the options that doordash gave me to add on to my original order and I was craving something ice cream-y. If you are interested in reading reviews of the burgers and fries, move along. So I ordered one of their signature things "signature turtle". I don't know what concrete is in the context of ice cream but please inform me. I am now seeing on their website you can customize the shit they put in it which I probably could have benefitted from. Perhaps their typical clientele has a different palate than I do but this was WAY too sweet for me but I do tend to like sweet things. First off, the drive thru entrance was very difficult to find. When I found it, I placed my order and asked for thousand island dressing on the side. Upon receiving my order, there was no thousand island sauce in the bag. No problem, I just walked inside and asked for some again. They told me they would give me 4 sides of thousand island, then handed me 1. I asked if I could have at least one more side, and the man behind the counter told me no. I said to him "well, I ordered 4 burgers. I can't get a little more?" This response caused him to flag down his manager. The manager of Freddy's in a very condescending tone repeated that I was not to have any more condiments. Then to further push his point, shoved the thousand island dressing bottle into my face, shaking it to show it was empty. He then said "THERES. NO. MORE. THOUSAND. ISLAND." I Will not be returning, not because of lack of thousand island sauce, but because of the lack of respect for paying customers and basic human dignity. read more

The Midwest version of In-N-Out and you guys, I think I may like it even better! Oh my goodness, this was one of the best burgers and fries that i've had in a LONG time! The patties are flattened super thin to the point where the edges of the beef get nice and crispy - YUM! I got the California style burger and it literally melted in my mouth. I'm a major fan! I also loved their fries with their FRY SAUCE out of a dispenser! How cool is that? Came here because it's the new joint in town. I loved the customer service but questioned the uniforms allowed which included shorts behind and around the food counter. Got the bacon burger, chili, fries, chicken strips, and a malt. The chili was good and had a good kick to it. The fries are traditional shoe string fries, nothing special. They were cooked well though. The malt was chocolates and malty thick. Yum The chicken fingers were breaded well and the chicken was all white breast meat it seems. They were tasty. Lastly, the bacon burger was cooked well and had the right amount of toppings. It seemed as if the beef was fresh and not frozen, maybe they fooled me though lol. Ordered pick up for dinner and was impressed that when we walked in everything was ready and we were greeted right away by a staff member! We ordered a side of ranch and didn't get that or any fry sauce in the bag but the food was good and fresh! Not quite sure why the drive thru guy Michael insisted on shoving everything at me through the window as hard as he could, basically throwing it into my car and the closing the window as quickly as possible. They are still wearing masks here when basically every other establishment isn't so it makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with them? The burger was ok but really slathered with too much mustard. The fries are greasy and so small you can't pick them up. They put them in a wide mouthed cup and there is no way you get them home before they all fall out and you end up having to just turn the paper bag upside down. Big disappointment here. read more

SOOOOOOO Happy Saint Cloud got a Freddy's I like to tell people this is a better version of Culver's. They have some of the best fast food burgers and fries. I went here on opening day and they did an amazing job. It was very busy but I got all my food in under 5 minuets. I recommend ordering double cheese burger with fries. Make sure you get some fry sauce on the side! Also if you have a sweet tooth they have very good custard and also have custard sandwich with Oreo and nutter butter cookie. read more

Last night the family ordered delivery from Freddy's. It was my first experience and it was not what I expected. I had a California burger and fries. The fries were shoestring and I quite enjoyed them. The burger tasted ok but did not look like it was prepared well. The bun was smashed thin, the toppings were on top and on the bottom of the burger. Not sure if this was on purpose but it looked like a mess. I expected much more for the price paid. Besides the food, we didn't get all if our meal. Only half to be exact. Not their fault (Door Dash) but it added to the lackluster experience. I'll stick to other burger establishments. read more

I've been to the maple grove freddys many times and never have i seen the level of customer service that the st cloud location has. Seriously, I'm impressed with st cloud's team. There were several employees walking around greeting, clearing tables, holding doors and checking in with customers. Burger taste 3-4, custard shake very thick and tasty. But... the kitchen is a mess and they have an open kitchen so there's no missing it. My order was handed to me in a filthy, greasy, food-bit laden bag. The box containing my sandwich inside had a wilted piece of greasy lettuce stuck to the top. Seriously? Its hard to Enjoy a meal when you're worried about the quality and cleanliness of the kitchen and staff. The lid to my shake had a dried brown speck on it which i can only hope was chocolate. I have been here twice. I went when they first opened and today. I wanted to love it so much but I just don't. The burgers are very thin and the meat is actually thin overcooked crispy sheets of beef. Kinda gross actually. The fries are thin, over seasoned with something that is not salt. I don't know what the seasoning is but I am not a fan. These fries taste and have the texture like they were fried then microwaved. This is like Culver's only much much much better! Every time I go I have to get the cheese curds, they are better than fair curds;however, make sure to eat them while they're warm, not good when cold. I really enjoy their "smashed" style burgers, they have a lot of flavor. read more

I've gone here a couple of times, but I won't be going a third time. The service is extremely lackluster. On my first visit, I did not receive my soda at the drive-thru and ended up going inside to get it. The manager was nice and gave me a certificate for a free custard, but I'll probably never end up using it due to my experience with my second visit. On my second visit, I drove up to the box, but nobody wanted to take my order. I waited a good minute, and after nobody came on the speaker, I tried to get an employee's attention by saying hello into the box, but still nothing after another minute.
