Was not impressed with this place. We were on our way to Cary to visit breweries with our of town friends and stopped in for a burger. We found this place on Yelp because it said it had Craft beer. So we see only 3 taps & ask the girl behind the counter which are the craft beers. She doesn't know so gets the manager and he proceeds to tell us that the craft beers are Coors lite, Bold Rock Cider and some other beer. We inform him that Coors Lite & Ciders are NOT craft beers. He says he doesn't really know beers. Why on earth would you advertise that you have craft beers when you absolutely do not carry any. Then when we get our food one of the kids ordered grilled cheese w/fries and what we saw delivered was just a bag of fries. So we wait and wait thinking it's coming then finally go up to girls behind counter & ask where the grilled cheese is. They tell us it's in the bottom of the bag of fries. Ok we feel dumb but why would you hide the main entree. The managed claimed that the grilled cheese was suppose to be on top of the fries. Just thought the whole issue could have been avoided. I hadn't planned on eating here, but the restaurant next to it had a line out the door at 12:15 yesterday, and this place was only about 2/3 full with no line. I'm pretty sure there's a reason for that. The service was very friendly and efficient, and my single cheeseburger with a side of fries came out Within five minutes (because no one else was ordering). My burger was fine. It was the size of the bun, but the whole thing was a lot smaller than I expected for the price I paid. The fries were crisp, but there were a lot of indelible bits at the bottom. Came here when they first opened for a Beyond Burger. I've visited their location on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh quite a few times and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this location was a bit lackluster. I placed my order on their kiosk which I liked but it didn't give an option for scanning your BurgerFi rewards card. The place was a madhouse in general, but I didn't mind waiting in hopes of a delicious experience​. I also thought that the busyness would yield a fresher product. But I was wrong. I've been to the BurgerFi location off Weston parkway multiple times and it's always been great. So today wanted to try this one. Where to start? The negative energy was palpable as soon as I walked in. But I was already committed. Ordered one of the fancy Waygu burgers and a beer. While I waited the 25 minutes for my food, and had to ask for my beer btw, I watched angry customer after angry customer march up to the counter. There was one who had been waiting for an online pickup order, and come to find out it had been sitting there in a bag getting cold the whole time. The poor manager looked like he had seen a ghost. When I tell you it seemed like everyone was angry, I mean it. My burger was fine. There was nothing amazing about it. It wasn't steaming hot when I got it, so I know it had been sitting for several minutes. Beer was cold though, when I finally got it. The place in general was very unkempt. I watched one employee begin filling the fork dispenser. Then left it undone for the remainder of my epic stay while she started multiple tasks that were mostly left unfinished. This is a brand anew location as they are still working out the kinks. It was super busy in a Monday night but the process was super fast. I had the breakfast all day burger which has hasbrowns, burger meat, fried egg and bacon on it. It was ok, felt like since the hasbrown was not crispy at all making a mushy mess on the bottom of the burger. The bun was super soft with the classic BurgerFI logo on it. I felt like it needed some extra flavor overall, aka salt and pepper! Also had a side order of chilli fries with onions. I would say skip these as the chilli is a beef chilli that is heavy and clumpy. We also had a side of onion rings, these were great! As far as dessert we had the black and white shake and the coffee one. The black and white defiantly tasted like a thicker McDonald's shake. The coffee tasted like actual ground up beans in it. That's a salty ass burger! Cold beer atmosphere is cool, chill, and you can vibe here for a meet up with a friend or a first date outside - yes. Service... not terrible. The woman who gave my food was very nice! The guy who took my order just came back from eating something in the back and was tapping the screen with his pinky but he was cool - service neither here nor there. If you have high blood pressure, don't eat here! Also, don't waste your money on the wagyu upgrade, which is what I did (could be why it was salty); but the burgers are as thin as paper. Some would say that I'm somewhat of a burger aficionado, so I don't take my burger decisions very lightly. Happened to be driving down Walnut street, looking for a quick lunch spot, and was happy to see this new joint open up right in the middle of Crossroads. The place was brand spanking shiny and new. Aesthetically well-designed, sleek and modern. Tons of natural light and plenty of seating. I was amazed at the number of workers at this establishment. You can't say they're understaffed and are most certainly ready for a flood of customers if they were to barrel into the place. We placed our orders, took a number, and sat at our table. Within 10 minutes the food arrived looking all that and then some, ready to be devoured. Took some nice pics which you will see below. They didn't last very long. I was very satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. Their onion rings were amazing, with just about the perfect blend of light batter, crispy, and taste of the onions. Super yummy! Looked for a place to escape the rain while running errands and waiting for a friend so I decided to stop next door and check this place out for lunch. When I got my tray I was surprised at the amount of fries. Everything came out pretty fast and hot. I liked the texture of the fries and burger, not soggy or soft but also not greasy. Pretty healthy in my opinion. It's also nice that they have a vegan burger; other than that not a ton of vegetarian/vegan options but their menu is pretty small anyway. I don't post alot, and most of the time if my experience is great, I'm so busy enjoying the food, there's nothing left to post or the conversation I'm having afterward solidifies my choice of dining as amazing. Now, I understand there's a shortage of good help, and suffice to say, if your business is open today then your company should be able to perform the work at hand which is "create good food". Im not in the business of returning a bad order because replacing the food doesn't cover the cost of the gas wasted to do so. Case in point, Hey Burger Fi, my dinner was terrible...! I ordered a spicy wagyu burger and onion rings. Easy Now, I have no doubt that had I walked into the location in FL, my burger would look menu picture perfect, as well as my onion rings. I know this because I have even tipped the cook for making it look so great. But in the side by side pictures I've posted this is by far the single most terrible experience I've had with dining at Burger Fi. I won't say their food is bad, but I will say the person that cooked my order, is not happy with their job and is a poor reflection on your brand and they should be retrained immediately or at least be demoted to cleaning the dining room because they absolutely don't care about your mission statement...Which I've also posted. By the time me and my wife ordered, waited, and then ate the mediocre burgers we were overtaken by buyers remorse. The burgers were not worth the price in my opinion. So we go back, tell them this isn't our order or at least part of it is incorrect. We reorder the same burgers, same way. 5 minutes later. 2 plain burgers come out. Including no cheese. I say, uh, where is the cheese? She proceeds to go back and put several slices in a fry dish and walks off. Ummm no. Lol. We wanted a refund at this point and she had no clue to do a refund and had to call a manager. However is running and owning this business...the people who were working or not working on 7/24/2024 can single-handle run your business into the ground. I tried the KetoFi burger to pack on my protein intake - which is served Green Style with lettuce cups as the bun, two angus beef patties, a fried egg, mustard drizzle, bacon, American cheese. I added diced onions and tomato. Unfortunately, my lettuce "bun" was not fresh or crisp (see photo) - the top was one single piece of lettuce that was torn and browning. Not a piece that I would use to serve to a customer. The bottom half of the lettuce bun was wilted and barely held together under the weight of the burger. The burger as a whole tasted delicious, but it was sooooo messy and dripped everywhere whenever I took a bite. The paper packet it came in was drenched in a mix of meat juice/egg yolk. At the price of $10.47, it's a bit steep of a price for what you get in terms of size and quality ingredients. I also ordered the Large Hand-Cut Fries ($4.97) and it was such a huge portion! Fries were fresh, hot, and perfectly salted. I really wish there were more dipping sauce choices at BurgerFi other than the generic ketchup/mustard/mayo -- Burger21 has a 10+ sauce station...just sayin'. The red velvet milkshake is awesome, but we didn't get much of the red velvet cake chunks that you would think would be included. Poor Managment and quality. We go there a lot and every other time most of the drinks are out. Last time I was there, they had no straws for their shakes. They offered a thin paper straw which ended up disintegrating in the shake(shake was too thick to suck through it). Today, the machine was out of few drinks, they had no kids juices and their ice tea was water down. I told them about the ice tea and they said they won't fix it cause it was just made and they can't toss it. I told her it's wasn't made well, it's barley dark and it tastes like water with a slight flavor of tea. Her response is they can't toss it or fix it.
