Not sure why the reviews are low. I thought this was a great little burger place. It's exactly what you'd expect- amazing unhealthy burgers. The fries were pretty good too. I didn't think I'd eat all my burger but it was too good to put down. We (husband & 11-yr old) only got 2 orders of fries. We probably could have eaten 3 (could have, but shouldn't). My husband liked that it served beer. We just got in around 3:00pm from Pittsburgh & didn't stop for lunch. He needed the cold one! The staff was very friendly. The establishment was fairly clean. Honestly some of the worst food I've eaten. Cheap ingredients, cheaper service. It's bad in a town of bad food. If you have a hankering for soggy, wet, cold and misshapen food, knock yourself out. Food is just ok! Overly priced for basic burger and fries. Last time that I was here I ordered and spicy chicken sandwich with No pickled jalapeños with fries and BurgerFi sauce. My fries were burnt and looked like they recooked them in old oils when they got cold. My sandwich had jalapeños on it and didn't get the BurgerFi sauce I paid for. I was highly upset and didn't have time to go back and have it fixed. I was on my lunch break and had to be back at work. I couldn't even eat my food. I have no special complaint about this location (except that there were no condiment cups in the dispenser, a minor issue). For this chain though, I have little good to say. I've tried the place in four states, and I'll say that they're pretty consistent. Overpriced food, and the blandest burgers ever. I paid $22.23 for what I thought was one of their best burgers (CEO), fries and a soft drink. The burger was not only small, but tasted very bland. Each time I have tried the chain, I'm always happy to be done with the burger. The fries were good but pricey. The $3 soda was OK (Coke freestyle). STAY AWAY!! The WORST!! It was 98 degrees outside and they had no AC, and just one ceiling fan inside. The service was sub-par even when I had zero expectations from a fast food joint. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Only good thing about the sandwich is the spicy mayo sauce. The bun was cold, FYI, I had the first bite within 30 seconds it was brought to my table. Fries - no exaggeration if I say they're the worst by a million times I ever had. They were by no means fresh, as they advertised. They are like refried 20x times. I was hoping for great, even just good, but I didn't get that. 8:15pm on a Sunday night, four people doing the cooking, one out front, no one in line and I waited 25 min for a (small) spicy chicken sandwich and small (but enough for three) fries. (I think they forgot about me or gave my order to their security guard who wandered in after me). While the chicken was cooked well, the only thing that made it spicy (or tasty) was the two jalapeno slices under the simple bun. Literally no spice at all without those two pepper slices. The fries - - a better name would have been the greasy limp potato slices. No way the fryer was hot enough... the fries were brown, but really greasy and soft. Even if they were baked they would have been better. Truly awful. AND as a to-go order, no napkins, utensils, sauces, salt/pepper included in the bag. read more

The 2 1/2 star rating for this matches the service. We asked for Sauce with our chicken tenders and the manager said it costs extra. If you look at the sign up front it literally says "with your choice of sauce" after pointing it out to the staff they gave us sauce. I was super eager to try this new burger place that just opened up in National Harbor, and I was not disappointed, to say the least! The place is beautiful, with a huge patio. Great music and great atmosphere. The food was spectacular! So many options to choose from that all my kids ended up getting different sandwiches, and they were all just as good as the others. This place is horrible. I came in on a Saturday (yesterday) to order my food. I waited 1 hour and 30 mins. The Manager came over and said we have to refund your money. We cannot cook your food. I asked for the Corporate Number, DM, AM and her GM. She stated that she doesn't have any of their phone numbers. She also stayed that she only works there and doesn't need to speak with any of the Managers. Disappointing customer service. I just ordered for lunch and when I arrived the cashier was lazily accepting peoples orders. When I finally get up there he looks at me like "what"... I tell him my order, he doesn't offer lettuce, tomato or anything so I assumed it came on the burger, it did not. Then I waited outside the door for nearly 20 mins with my table number watching him walk around with my food after I finally came inside and grabbed my food, he didn't even attempt to look outside, I was the first table by the door intentionally so he could see me. Wow what a disappointment - should have paid attention to reviews - ordered cheeseburger, chicken tenders , onion rings and fries . Waited over 15 minutes - fries soggy , no ketchup, no sauce with chicken tenders ( I told them what kind when I ordered ) which were very dry . Burger was so greasy it saturated the box it came in and leaked all over bag . Today was the first time I went to BurgerFI at National Habor. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The menu offered a variety of choices it was hard to decide. I had the chicken sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was well seasoned and perfectly cooked.The onion rings were the best I ever had fluffy and well seasoned. Everyone standing around watching the Encounter with staff look like they were equating it to "privilege". Snarky looks, comments, and a whole lot of side eyes. Usually when you order in BurgerFi it takes a while because you're under the impression they are putting your order together fresh so you receive it warm and ready. Boy was I surprised! The meat was so over cooked it tasted like I was eating potato chips. Crispy outside as if they had scraped the crackling off the grill and put them on my bun. Cold bun, on melted cheese. Awful! not once but twice they messed up my order on two different visits. whoever hires these employees really needs to reevaluate themselves because these employees act like they don't care about customer service at all; what does that say about their management? how do you miss clear and obvious notes? twice they did not add certain items to my burger I paid for to have added nor took off ingredients i asked to be removed, along with that, The employees seem to have no customer service etiquette. Ordered three burgers from here, two with customizations. They initially gave us the wrong order (chicken tenders with fries instead of the three burgers we ordered). When our orders were remade I asked how to tell which burgers were which and I was told I'd just have to open them up. Also they still managed to mess up the orders.
