I loved my burger and fries! We went there as a family and all ad burgers. I'd probably really give it 3 1/2. Our burgers and fries were really good. The tables are made out of recycled milk jugs which was super cool. The downside is there were a ton of mosquitoes in the outdoor dining area and we all got ate up. It is pretty pricey once you add in drinks, burger, and fries, about $15/each for the hubs and I and $10/kids because no specific kid menu, so have to order burger and enough fries for them and drink separate. The burger was really good. The fries were really good. If it wasn't quite as pricey and we didn't get eaten by mosquitoes I'd say a 4. I'm sure we will be back to try it though. read more

This was our first time in BurgerFi and we will not be back. We ordered and were asked do we want one patty or 2. I asked for one patty but I still wanted the burger I ordered, but without telling me apparently getting one patty meant I was getting a jr. burger without any toppings (not on the menu anywhere). When I went to the counter to explain this the cashier was rude and had an attitude and acted as though he didn't want to get it fixed. Then someone at our tables food came out and I realized I didn't get the aioli that I had asked for on the fries. I told the same cashier who proceeded to argue with me about it and told me I needed to pay for the aioli (wouldn't have been a big deal accept I ordered it) and when I explained I ordered it and someone at our tables came out with it and mine did not he proceeded to tell me I still needed to pay. When I asked to speak with a manager (I could see him in the back) he said he was too busy to come out. The employee kept insisting I swipe my card for the extra sauce every time I said I was waiting for a manager, when he kept insisting the manager was too busy, I just left the sauce because I was not going to swipe my card AGAIN for something I ordered and that someone at our table ordered the same thing she got hers but I was expected to pay for something that was missing. I understand the cashier seemed to be young but that doesn't excuse being rude and arguing with me about what I ordered. Also when I explained to him that the menu never said that he ignored me and when I walked away he came out from behind to counter to check. This place is pretty awesome! Design inside is very cool. I usually don't veer from places in downtown, but I've been back a few times. The staff is always very pleasant and the food is great. If you are a fan of breakfast, brunch, or brinner the BAD (Breakfast all day) burger is the first thing you need to check out. The orders of fries or onion rings are good to share, they give very large portions. I'm not one for carbonated drinks but I enjoyed their cole machine that let's you add flavors to your drinks. Yes its a chain which generally doesn't offer the best food in my opinion but we really enjoyed our burgers and sides. While the menu is small that's okay, the hipster level was pretty high when we were there but that's fine too as long as a small child doesn't bother them. My boyfriend and I went here for lunch on Saturday, and it was SO GOOD! It does take a while from the time you order to the time you get your food... I'm not sure why, except that the place is very busy and almost every table was full. In fact we ate outside on their heated patio (which was good because it was only like 50 degrees and drizzling outside) and it was much more comfortable than the dining room. I went to BurgerFi with my boyfriend the other day and it was pretty good! Disclamer, I have only been eating burgers for about a year now but I have had a fare share of good and bad. I got a cheeseburger with only one patty, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, garlic aoli and fresh jalapenos. It was yummy. They reccommend two patties because of how big and thick their bread is but I felt with all my condiments it was fine! My boyfriend and I split the large fry but next time, will get a small or medium. It could have fed a family of 4. Coke Freestyle machine is always a plus and they had beer and wine. I love Burgerfi. I'm a vegetarian and they are carrying the beyond meat beyond burger and it's amazing! The characteristics are so similar to a real burger that actual meat eaters have said they liked it. I have yet to try their veggie burgers because as long as they have the beyond burger, it's my choice. The fries with the parmesan garlic aoili are yum! I highly recommend this place. In Wake County, if you grind your own meat, you can cook it to order. At good burger places, you can order a burger medium-rare. This is not one of those places. Hard to fault the meat; no beef is at its best when it's cooked to medium-well. Even with the addition of onions, blue cheese and bacon, this burger was just meh. The onion rings were incredibly bland. They weren't properly seasoned and could have used a horseradish dip. The fries were likewise lackluster. The beer was incredibly over priced. $5.67 for a 16 ounce pour of Sam Adams? What a joke. For a decent burger, go elsewhere - almost anywhere else. Raleigh Times, Busy Bee, or Oxford downtown are all far better options. This place was disappointing. read more
