Ambiance: only went through drive thru Service: 7/10 they're nice but nothing to write home about. Food too a minute with the drive through but it's better quality than other fast food so you get what you pay for Food: Chicken strips: 5.5/10 these were just average. Juicy and crispy but nothing to write home about. Fries: 6/10 pretty average fries Garlic aioli: 6.5/10 very garlicy and helped with the average chicken tenders Chipotle mayo: 6/10 Smokey which was unique and a little spicy but nothing to write home about

I love coming to this location of Burgerville in Gresham! The service is always so great. The employees are so helpful and never rude. Where do they come from? I wish all restaurants had employees there were this kind and conscientious. I redeemed some of my points and got free fries for my husband. My strawberry shake is out of this world. I've noticed lately that Burgerville is run like a well oiled machine and I really appreciate that!

    Tiny fish wafers, overcooked

First time at a Burgerville, and the burgers looked interesting, but I was in the mood for fish, and I'm used to really good fish from Culver's in a land-locked state, so how bad could it be? I ordered the 3-piece halibut, $14-something, which comes with coleslaw, fries, 2 tartar sauces, and no drink. I opted for the extra tartar sauce, so a little over $15. In the bag, I got fries, a lemon wedge, 2 tartar sauces, 3 tiny little fish wafers that were supposed to be the 3-piece, and that's it. I had to ask for the 3rd tartar sauce I had been charged for. I also noticed no coleslaw. I asked about it, and they said they were out. The excuse was the manager just didn't prep enough of them that morning. I asked for a salad instead, and they said the salads were too big to substitute, would I like to buy a salad? So they have all the burger fixins, but could not improvise a small salad for the coleslaw? And they weren't going to tell me that they just left the coleslaw out, or the tartar they upcharged me for, so I would have driven off, having paid $15 for a medium fry and 1 filet's worth of fish, which is basically what happened. I've added a pic I found online. Imagine a couple ounces of thin, breaded discount fish, cooked about twice as long as a McDonald's filet o fish. If you can't see them, they are hiding behind the fries. I tried to use the Burgerville site to report the shoddy drive thru service, but their form requires a picture captcha, and whoever did the website frames shit the bed, and you have to vertically scroll-center the page, and the form, and then the frame to see the full captcha. A full minute of futzing around with the tiniest images of bikes, busses, and street lights, and I went here instead.

    Mobile pick up

Placed a pick up order and they were friendly as always. Snapped a few quick photos before I left and a couple in the car... because fresh is best! I'm obsessed with their onion rings that are large and sweet (as to be expected). I love that they have so many plant based options because sometimes I'm in the mood for something a little different.

I had just landed at the airport in Portland and needed a quick lunch. We swung into Burgerville, the inside was closed, but the drive through was open. The team was quick to take our order and we were eating the delicious meal moments later. The colossal burger was super filling. I'm glad I got the onion rings, they were superior to the fries by a long shot! Burgerville definitely lived up to the hype! I can't wait to get back!

I really enjoyed Sugarpine Drive-in! I got several items, including the seasonal Mauna Loa sundae…read more(added matcha magic shell and miso caramel sauce), the grab and go Wagyu bologna sandwich, and a cup of the heirloom tomato soup. We brought our water bottles, so we didn't have to buy any drinks, but the drinks look really good! They have a thorough beer, cider, wine, menu, and really cute frozen margs. Anyway, I was really happy with everything I ordered the sundae was so good! You can tell that they put a lot of care into the ingredients they make, like the macadamia-oat brittle was full of ingredients and brought a fun texture and a lot of flavors to the sundae. The chocolate magic shell had kind of coffee in it, which was a fun, tiny crunch and another good flavor. The Thai tea whip was the " cherry on top." I highly recommend adding the miso caramel sauce and Matcha magic shell! So yummy! Just as I said with the sundae, the sandwich and tomato also seemed to have quality ingredients. The tomato soup was delicious, but the flavor was gorgeous with the roasted tomatoes and chive oil, though a bit rich. I definitely finished it, but I do think that having some of my sister's grilled cheese to dip into it was more appropriate than eating it on its own. The sandwich I got had the softest milk bread and was just a classic deli sandwich, but you can tell that again, they used quality ingredients. I felt like I got my money's worth for everything I paid for. The parking situation was great, we parked in the overflow lot across from the establishment. There was a five dollar charge, and if you show your receipt when returning to your vehicle, they gave you a refund. Waiting in line wasn't terrible, we waited maybe 15 minutes? The only thing is that they have a ramp leading to the patio and a long line is inevitable, and the ramp is narrow, so if somebody wants to pass through with a stroller or a wheelchair, everybody on the ramp has to move off to let them through. When we got up to the front to order, something happened with their system, and they had to pause orders for a couple minutes, which didn't bother me, but I could see how maybe that might bother someone else. Either way, they were very nice throughout the wait. There are a lot of people there seemingly throughout the day, and we had a group of five adults and four kids, but we were able to find a picnic table with enough room easily. The picnic tables are also nicely set up with good canopies and the table itself felt pretty clean Lots of Instagrammable foods and photos op spaces.

The situation is like this, they really don't have their own parking at all. You have to pay for parking at the nearby park which is also where the bathrooms are. However, you can skip all this by going through the drive through, but it is a bit chaotic as you try to follow all the signs on how to get into the drive through, but be extra careful as kids and adults are paying attention and walk into the drive thru lane without looking. Since there is a wait for the drive through, they are smart to have QR codes to look at the menu while you are in line. They do have done picnic table setups for sitting down but also some tables inside Sugarpine. I think we waited about 10 min on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't so bad of a wait. They do warn you that they serve a 20% service fee on top of your order. However, I don't understand why. I got no table service. Basically a guy took my order and handed me my ice cream cup. I usually give 20% for real table service. Not sure if this is one of those charges they use to give the employees certain benefits? It was unclear to me. I'll be honest, I was very disappointed in the soft serve offerings. It was chocolate or vanilla or a swirl but there was a plant based offered that is a little more which is a bit more interesting. We got one chocolate vanilla swirl and one blueberry ube kids cup (5 oz) The had coconut vanilla as well, but I did not try it. I paid my just over $10 charge which wasn't too bad, but since there is no place to eat these I drove into downtown Troutdale to Harlow Park where it is free to park and plenty of covered tables. While I enjoyed my soft serve, it wasn't really anything special to me that I couldn't find in other Portland locations. In fact, I've had better. I do appreciate the family run business and the local kids that work there, I think it is a great thing, but honestly toss lace seems best for a stop on the way back from a day at the Gorge, else I won't go out of my way for it. Nothing wrong with it as I said, it tasted fine, but it did t blow my mind either. I did not get to try their BBQ offerings so I can't speak for that but it did small good. I know that have $10 offerings for dessert that have toppings and such but for me the base or foundation of it all is more important to me.

They also have a full bar available, if you so desire. I am a regular at this restaurant, but today I ordered off the Specials board and got delectable Oreo Stuffed French toast. It was beautiful, to begin with, but the taste and textures were divine. The toast was crispy, but the filling was very flavorful, and the topping of whipped cream with Oreo crumbs made the whole meal delightful. I ended up taking the bacon and eggs home, since the French Toast was more than enough. Our server was friendly and thorough, despite it being busy. There was some black duct tape holding parts of the booth together, and since the booths aren't anchored to the floor, ours would shift whenever the people behind us moved, which was a little distracting. The food was okay, but nothing really stood out. The scrambled eggs tasted watered down and lacked flavor. The pancakes themselves were good, but they came with quite a bit more butter than necessary. We also ordered the chicken fried steak, which was tasty, though the potatoes that came with it tasted like they may have been from the day before. I might consider coming back to sit at the bar for cocktails or happy hour, but for a full meal I'm not sure I'd rush back. That said, it could have just been an off day -- there was actually a wait for tables as we were leaving, so clearly the place has a following.

It was full of mead that was moist but not greasy. I later found out that the beef empanadas and the cheese empanadas were more traditionally Syrian. They also were delicious and the dipping sauces were great. Lastly the Summer Salad was fresh, unique with candied pistachios, peaches, avocados and whatever else was fresh. The dressing was tasty. I noticed that they also sell food here-- it smelled amazing and I would definitely give it a try if I came again. Ordering was easy, and the young man behind the counter was really helpful-- I had never been to a soda hop before, so I had some questions about the options.
