Had a great experience with Burgeson's yesterday for servicing one of our properties. Lance was punctual, knowledgeable and professional. He was quickly able to pinpoint and correct a small issue with the A/C unit and even got the old furnace working again like new. While working on the furnace, he warned me that a new pilot assembly might be required, but in the end all was well with the one we had after some heavy cleaning/wire fastening. He did not try to sell us an un-needed part to fluff up the bill, and the final charge was more than reasonable. Recently moved into a four year old house and unfortunately have had numerous problems. One of the frustrating ones was a rather annoying "hum" in the pipes when turning on the water at any faucet. While the house had a whole home water filtration system, you could hear that system vibrating. I decided to replace it with the Halo System. Within a week, Burgesons sent an awesome plumber (Ryan Crawford) out to install it. When he arrived he found a couple of issues, no drain pipe and no electrical. He phoned his boss (Travis) and they sent two electricians (Manny Oropeza) and Taylor (didn't get his last name). They installed the electrical and Ryan did the drain pipe. They did not charge me for the extra work. You have no idea how incredibly grateful I am. I just had AC installed in whole house for my parents and went with Burgesons. Everything from the very beginning was easy and pleasant. Dustin came out to explain to us what we needed and how everything was going to be installed etc. He was great and obviously we went with him because he was knowledgeable and charismatic. From signing the papers install began the following week and the guys were finished in two days. The manger for our job was Nick and he was a DOLL! We loved having him and his crew here. Our HVAC system was needing to be replaced badly, after calling several places and getting many quotes we noticed Costco was having a special on HVAC, they sent Randy over to go over our options. He took his time and was straight forward not trying to push us into something we didn't need. One of the first things we noticed was the level of professionalism from the extra steps taken not to dirty our carpet to the typed and printed estimate of work. Once everything was a go Josh and Andrew arrived bright and early to remove our old system and install not only a new HVAC but also to add additional vents. I just purchased a new Lennox AC / heating unit from Burgeson's and I couldn't be happier. The crew that they have are the best in the business. Starting with Andy who made me feel very comfortable with that whole process from start to finish he was there every step. I went to Burgeson's when I needed a new A/C system and ducting about ten years ago. I opted for the Lennox Signature system and have never been disappointed. Since then Burgeson's has been to my house twice a year to service my system. Their technicians are always courteous and professional. They have also been to my house twice when, after a power outage, my system needed a reset. They did not charge me for these visits. Burgeson's is simply the BEST without question. Bought a new home last year and got signed up with Burgeson's top tier service maintenance agreement this past week - living in Yucaipa we got Lance, came out on Friday and was kind enough to show me everything about his service routine. Preventative maintenance is a must, even with a home warranty. We lived in Las Vegas for 8yrs so I completely understand the wear and tear hvac systems take. We have been relying on Burgesons for years to maintain our HVAC systems at our house and have always been highly pleased with them. Two days ago their service was taken to an even higher level than expected. Our heater had stopped working and Henry Padilla came out to take a look at it. Not only did he fix our problem in record time but he also took the time to inspect and clean a number of other components in the system. In addition, during our discussion about the system he took the time to explain to me just how the system really works! Nobody had ever explained it before and I was very impressed with the amazing in-depth knowledge he has! What made it even better was that he explained in a way that made it so clear and understandable that I was able to explain it to my wife when she got home.....so now we BOTH understand how the system works. I have been a Burgeson's customer since 1977 when they serviced the floor furnace in my first home. Two houses later they have replaced a total of three HVAC systems, and more recently done electrical and plumbing work for me. Today they replaced a dying water softener system that came with the house and installed a water treatment system. The technicians, Travis and Michael, arrived early, wore masks, and did a great job. Their supervisor, Todd, came out to check on their progress and wound up installing an electrical outlet closer to the new unit. All were polite, friendly, and thorough. And they cleaned up when they were done. With Burgeson's I know that I will get prompt and competent service. That's why I've been a customer for 44 years. read more

We've been with Berguson's for about 5 years, but we might have to find someone else. Our new thermostat went nuts. It was set on 68 but heated the house to 81. When I called for help, they said they would not be able to come until Friday (a full week away) because that's when they come to the mountains! So don't have an emergency with this company! I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were off but the person on the phone would reach out to them. She came back and said they could be here tomorrow (Sunday) between 9 and 11. We waited...all day. I had to call on Monday and was told there was a miscommunication on their part - and they can be here on Friday! Not the least bit helpful. They did advise us to turn off the unit at the circuit breaker. They obviously do not know what winter nights in the mountains are like. I'm really disappointed. The misfiring thermostat is no fault of ours. On another note, they charge $120.00 extra if they have to put on chains! Wow! Mountain people think again! read more

Michael and Travis showed up on time and introduced themselves. They practiced Covid safe procedures at all times and kept my home clean using footwear over their shoes. They didn't quit until they found the issue and that took them quite awhile. I was only charged for diagnostics. I could rave about them all day long! Very reasonable and very knowledgeable. They explained everything and allowed me to take pictures so the original contractor that did the install could fix his mistakes. I will definitely only use this company for my future needs. I had service a month ago on my swamp cooler and the guy that came here checked it and told me what it needed and how to do the work like he didn't have the time or interest in doing the work after charging a $100 to inspect plus $200 more to repair,plus he wasn't even prepared with parts to do any repairs.Then I was told by him I would receive a call from your office in setting an appointment in fixing what was told to me from him and it took you guys 2 weeks to call me back and after telling you folks what he told me I was supposed to receive a call from a supervisor and guess what ...no call except a bill for a service that was never done or finished by your lame company that I had to have done by someone else due to you horrible crappy service.I will never even consider in using this company or suggest it to anyone....EVER!...very lame in also sending a bill for service and work that was never done....Shame on you...I would give 0 stars but I guess one will suffice. read more

Burgeson's installed a new Lennox 5-ton system with 3 zones for us this summer as a replacement for our home's original 2006 3-ton and 2-ton units. Great staff did a perfect installation in a single day. The system is quiet and cools so much better than what we had before. Burgeson's projected an electric savings of 35%, and our electric bills are down 36% since installing the new system. Got a huge Costco rebate on the deal too. Extremely happy. read more

I called Burgeson last week for an appointment. They could not get here until this Thursday, about a week. When I made the appointment I was told they would be here between 12 and 3. I asked the receptionist to have the technician bring sealant. She tried to tell me sealant and refrigerant were the same thing. I explained that they were two different things. I asked her if they could recharge the system and install sealant. She stated they could. This morning I emailed the company to confirm my appointment and again asked to have the technician bring sealant. No reply. Because the window of arrival was 3 hours, from 12-3, I waited at home for their arrival all afternoon. At 3:05 I called to ask why no one showed up. She said he was "in route". The technician called at 3:24 to say he would be late. I figured that out when he was not here at 3:00. He arrived at 3:40, 40 minutes after his three hour arrival window had closed, without sealant. He informed me they did not carry sealant. I called the company and explained what happened and all she could say was the receptionists do not know what the technicians can do or not do. FYI Burgeson, train the receptionists to say "I don't know, let me find out and I will let you know" instead of just saying sure we can do it and waste my time as well as theirs. I am a Costco member and tried Burgeson because they are one of the vendors at Costco. I am already to replace my a/c unit even though it is only about 6 years old because about 2 years after I bought it began leaking Freon and no one can (or will) fix it. If I do decide to replace it, I will not be using Burgeson as they are very unprofessional. 40 minutes late arrival even with a 3 hour window and they completely misrepresent themselves just to get your business. read more

Disappointed--We have used Burgeson's since the 60's when it was truly family run and only dealt with Heating and AC. Now, like many companies, have expanded services and the quality and value has gone down the tubes. An electrician serviced our home that was a short in a ceiling light. The tech seemed new and inexperienced. 2 hours later a simple short in a wire turned into a $680 fix. And by the way, the $109 initial service call/diagnostic no longer applies to work done. Invoice showed no breakdown of hourly service/parts. Their excuse was that they use a "national estimate value" for various jobs. This is a ploy (also used by the area plumbers in the 'bright red trucks') to jack up the price. Another time a Burgeson quote to replace my total electrical panel was $2000 over the independent electrician. My advice is to only go with local and "independent" electricians/contractors. I'm afraid Burgeson's is off my list for further services. read more

Our AC abruptly went out on a Saturday at 1330 during the hottest week of the year to date. I called and spoke with an On-Call dispatcher and explained that we had and infant and toddler in the home and that we needed someone out to look at it ASAP. She was able to have Lance come out within a few hours despite having overwhelming numbers of services calls. Once Lance made it out, after already woking a very long day, he was incredibly personable and competent identifying the issue promptly . After making a call to his supervisor Kevin, they deemed the service and repair would be free of charge due to the HVAC system being rather new. I've purchased to 2 HVAC systems with Burgeson's (2 separate properties) and their customer service and professionalism will only continue to earn my business. read more
