    The owner's attempt at rebuking my complaint only makes him appear even less trustworthy and petty…read more Clearly his business had gone down hill which is supported by the other recent negative reviews. He committed to 3 movers for 3 hours and then only brought 2 movers no advanced warning or any insight into my actual needs. He then offered a 12% discount per hour for 2 movers instead of 3 which would have cost me at least an $100 more overall. I was willing to pay a 15% less than the agreed rate for a 33% reduction in manpower but he stubbornly refused this compromise. I gladly sent him on his way since he has no business acumen and is lacking ethics. I found other movers within an hour who were great and I gladly tipped them 25% and fed them lunch. Please do not add further stress and/ or cost to your moving day and look elsewhere!!

The only reason I used your service to move me out of the storage unit was because of the unresolved issue of the dryer, I wasn't sure if it still worked after it was wrefkleslly dropped. I didn't come back because I was thrilled with the first move. You aren't sorry because if you truly were, you would do the right thing, Laron! You should submit a claim with your insurance or help towards replacing my machine...that is not an unreasonable request; but instead you make matters worse by acussing me of making racial comments, and then adding lies. This is not good business practice...these are not qualities of a business person with integrity. Also, you showed up 40 minutes late to the storage facility (the day of the appointment on the 19th of November). You didn't call to say you were behind, I had to call you. Regarding your comment about you showing up two years later, you act like you are doing me a favor....let me remind you that I am a paying customer. I will also remind you of the fact that my last convo with you was less than 27 seconds long, this was when I called to tell you I had to call a repair person, who came to install the part and it could not be fixed. So yet again, you come on here and instead of responding truthfully you tell more lies about how many insults I said to you. I called you out on your character, (because you didn't keep your word and order the part and install it) and I told you about your shady business practices when you refused to assist me by filing an insurance claim to help with the reimbursement of being inconvenience and having to purchase a new washer....again this call was on speaker in front of three witnesses. I have no reason to tell lies, I just want to make the public aware of my unfortunate encounter with you, so they don't end up in my situation. I have three witnesses to say, that the racial comment was not said, in the 27 second phone call that was on speaker...the repair person Alec, my mother, and father. Just so you know, when the dryer fell, my parents were with me waiting for them to unload the last few items into the storage unit and no one slipped as you claim. You were not even there. I was angry but I did not make a scene, I made sure your crew was okay and I reported it to you as a respectable consumer. We couldn't check the dryer to make sure it still worked because my things were being put in storage. You and I both agreed to contact you back when I was ready to move. I knew I was building a new home but I was not aware there would be delays and waitlists resulting in two years later. When I did call you to schedule the move out of storage, you were not easy to reach. It took three attempts because you were not returning my calls or messages. Again, I made the comment about small businesses in my yelp post, because of my experience with your small business with lack of resources, submitting a claim to insurance, and lack of a customer service mindset.... also your unprofessional crew who kept arguing and bickering the whole time...to be honest two of the men where too old to be working in this industry (they appeared to be seniors)...no disrespect...just an honest observation.

Please let Andrew and Jesse know that without them and their willingness to put up with me and all of my last-minute changes didn't go unnoticed, those young men were patient, kind, and respectful the entire move I will definitely tell all my friends and family to call MEATHEAD MOVERS, no matter how big or small the move is, you have the team to get the job done in a timely, cost-effective manner!!!

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS I hired them expecting professional…read moreservice, but what I got was a complete breakdown in logistics and a total lack of respect for my property. Save yourself the headache and go with a different company... that is unless you love broken furniture and terrible/non-existent customer service! The company showed up understaffed with fewer workers than we'd contractually agreed to. They didn't send the number of workers promised, which made the entire process slow, disorganized, and ultimately dangerous for my belongings. From the moment they showed up we contacted the company to address the concerns, but given we had everything scheduled logistically to be gone from our house that day, we had no option but to move forward with the smaller worker crew that showed up. Long story short, we wasted twice as long as it should have taken to get everything done due to the lack of movers. And in the process, they managed to completely break some brand new furniture in the process. It was broken so badly that they just threw it away. BUT THE WORST PART IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE: The "screw-ups" during the move were bad enough, but the aftermath has been even worse. Trying to resolve the damage and the contract breach has been a nightmare. Their customer service is dismissive and completely unwilling to take accountability for their failures. Even today, they were supposed to connect me with their claims manager (after about 5 phone calls and 5 emails), yet failed to do so as they said they would. It's clear they care more about booking jobs than actually fulfilling their contractual obligations or protecting your home. I've had to spend my own time drafting emails and fighting just to get a response regarding the property they destroyed. Do not believe the hype. They are understaffed, they break your furniture, and they will leave you hanging when it comes time to make it right. STAY AWAY.

    Beware!!!! Its laughable the name of this company…read more Before booking I told them I needed an adjustable base bed moved from upstairs and that it was very heavy. He said no problem, they do this all the time. He said he would bring a 3rd guy just in case. He stated they bring all the blankets/supplies for protection. I booked them. He has you Zelle his wife Christina. They were supposed to show up at 7:30 but didnt arrive until 8. He did communicate he was running late but blamed it on U-Haul. He showed up, was very nice and talkative. There was only him (Abe) and another guy. I asked where the third guy was and he said that there was no need that they could do it. They then took the mattress and had no cover for it so I had to find some plastic to use. Had he not said he had everything I would have made sure I had a proper mattress cover. Then they started moving the adjustable base. They damaged my floors and ceiling all the way down the stairs. The top of the stairs is completely dented in and the subsequent stairs are chipped beyond repair. He apologized profusely and kept saying "don't worry, I've got you, I'll get this fixed." He was extremely kind the whole time, he kept apologizing and kept promising how he was going to get it fixed. At the end, I ended up paying the entire fee with trust that he would come through on his word, his name is indeed Honest Abe. It all started out just fine, he messaged me the next day that he was working on getting someone to come. A date was set up, I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate when he could be here but low and behold he said that he needed to move the time to the next day. That night I found out that it needed to be postponed again. Since then he has not responded to any phone calls or text messages and it's been a couple weeks. This is extremely disappointing. For someone who calls himself honest please take a look at my summary: 1) Didn't show up at time HE set up 2) showed up with one less guy than stated. 3) didn't have the proper supplies as promised 4) Ruined 7 Stair Nose pieces 5) Chipped and dented my ceiling 6) Promised he would fix it. Sadly, Im not the first. There is another review on here that sounds extremely similar. Do not trust "honest abe"!

    We recently moved from a 4 bed 3 bath house to a different city. We looked for movers via Yelp…read moresince I can get multiple quotes from moving companies in one spot. That's when I came across Always Ready Movers. I was then in contact with Isaac. I appreciated that he was not pushy after I received the quote. There were some movers that would call me at least 2-3x a day and it was just a turn off. We decided to go with ARM because of their competitive price. So leading up to the big day, Isaac sent me the invoice and we had to put a deposit down to secure the move date. No problem there. I texted him to confirm the day before and he confirmed back via text the same day. The day of the move, he texted that he was 30 mins out. Isaac came at 9 am with 2 other movers and a 26 ft U-Haul. They did a quick walk to look at what needs to be moved, and then quickly set up their stuff and wrap furnitures, and did their thing. As the day progresses, our stuff seemed like not all of our stuff could be fitted into the truck. We had told them that furnitures were our priority if the truck could not fit all of the stuff. They re assured me that everything could go in there. Well, that's not really the case, there were some furnitures that needed to stay behind :/ we obiously wasn't too thrilled about it. BUT it is what it is. We didn't head out to the new location until about 3 pm. So it took 7 hours alone just to load up everything into the truck. I know that a lot of stuff were disassembled and things needed to be wrapped just to be safe, but it took way longer than what I anticipated. It took one hour to drive to the new location. Then it took more time in the new location to set up everything, unload, and just making sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the day, it took a full 12 hours for the whole move. I did appreciate Isaac and his team making sure that everything was in order and wrapped up, it sucks that we couldn't move everything, but their price is competitive. I just wished the move would have taken less time.

    Last minute haul! Isaac and his guys did a wonderful job helping us moving out of the rental house…read moreto our own home. Its a breeze with this crew! They are very organized and efficient. Highly recommended!
