What arrived at my door was not food -- it was evidence of a crime. The fried chicken had been reduced to a charred, crackling ruin, stripped of all dignity. The hot dogs had shriveled into sad, blackened husks of their former selves. And the soft pretzels -- soft, they called them -- arrived with bottoms so scorched they could only be described as a culinary tragedy delivered straight to my doorstep. I opened the bag with hope. I closed it with grief.

I haven't been here for a while, and I didn't realize how much I enjoyed this place before. My burger was excellent. I got the Maggie's Farm. It had a great blend of flavors. I loved the heat from the chilies paired with caramelized onion. The chili was excellent, albeit not very hot when served. It also had a nice heat. Great food! Service was subpar - it took quite a long time to get food. But still a good experience.

Great staff and patio space as well. Their burgers are smash burgers, and the pierogi one was delicious. Can't wait to go back for burgers and brews.

Chili & cheese hot dogs with jalapeños, with fries is the bomb. They were are so good! You get 2 big dogs for like $11. I like their burgers of course, but the chili cheese dogs are a yummy change. Plus they go good with beer. They have outdoor seating too. And pup friendly patio area.

This time our experience was much better. The service was friendly and timely as always. We ordered pierogies, rosemary fries, and Shady side burger. All tasty! Still a little bit overpriced. But considering the great beers on tap, nice ambiance, great service, and tasty food, it is worth it. This time I give them five shiny stars.

I have been a big fan of Burgher's since it opened, but the prices were just raised 20% and the portions were reduced. Very disappointed.

This was a nice place to go with a very nice selection of artisan burgers. The pickled chicken appetizer is the bomb! Decent beer selection.

Burgers a amazing but pricy and maybe a bit small. Rosemary fries aren't really worth getting. The Mexican War burger is great.

Great burgers, fries and Mac n cheese. Small dining area so we had to wait a little but it was worth it. Service was great.

Is Burgh'ers a BYOB restaurant? I'm not seeing anything on their website, but it comes up in my search engine when I ask for BYOB restaurants. Help!

Nope, they serve beer. They have a pretty good selection.

Yes, it's a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. Allusion is a beer oasis tucked between life's greatest challenges: renewing your license and resisting discount snacks. Inside, it's clean, cozy, and no frills, which is exactly what you want when the beer is doing all the talking. And let me tell you, the beer has a lot to say. We tried the 1810 Oktoberfest and As You Wish (which made me feel like I was being serenaded by Wesley from The Princess Bride), and both were excellent. We also grabbed a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a Reuben, each paired with a cup of clam chowder that was creamy, comforting, and possibly made with magic (or butter, which is basically the same thing). The proprietor was friendly, knowledgeable, and doing everything short of brewing the beer mid-conversation. Honestly, if he'd started juggling pint glasses, I wouldn't have been surprised. Long story short: the beers are top-notch, the food hits the spot, and the vibe is low-key awesome. Allusion has earned a spot on our regular rotation, and possibly a spot in our hearts.

My wife asked me if I heard of this place and I said yes, she said we got to go there. That was music to my ears. We stopped looked around and they have a small bar where everyone is gathered around. They have a long bar that was vacant. We got a flight of beers, ipa, jalapeño, Irish ted and a lager. The jalapeño beer was awesome. We got a four pack to go. I asked who was the owner how long they been here and he said 8 years. The one owner said that this was his last day. Found out that they sold the brewery to new owners. They will stick around as the new owners get going. But the name will change in due time. I'm happy we got to check it out under the original ownership. The one thing is inside everything is quite older. It could use some modernization. We will come back once the name changes and we have another Brewery to mark off our checklist.

The brewery itself is spacious and the concept made me feel like we were hanging out in a friend's basement gameroom/bar. That's a good thing. Definitely has a vintage vibe happening. We met with and were served by one of the Petrucci brothers and we got to talk with him at length about the brewery, their pours, the area, etc. Super, super friendly and nice guy. Now let's talk about the pours. I have to tell all of you that the beers are spectacular. We loved each one that we tried. If you're up for adventure, this is worth a drive from Pittsburgh. Looking forward to the next time we have to make our way out to Beaver County.
