For the money, Burgrz is probably the best value of the 3 nearby gourmet fast food burger joints. Their burger is the largest, their toppings are good, and their fries and onion rings are perfect accompaniments. The burger itself is usually well done+ which is overcooked for me, but exactly as my wife likes it. The burger is the largest of the burger places around, but even so there always seems to be a little too much bun. I always come back to the thought that their bun detracts from the burger as opposed to compliments it. We do love that we can get a burger and salad - so we can at least pretend we are eating healthy! Their wings are good, though on the small side. The 10 piece wings still leaves me hungry. I want to like this place more: I feel like Burgrz is a couple of small steps away being the local 5 star burger joint. read more

We've been here so often I cannot remember how or why tried it. But it is my son's favorite venue for burgers. Its counter service like most where they bring uour food to the table after ordering. The menu has a fantastic variety on par w the big chain burger joints but there is something personal about Burgrz. The people behind the counter are always patient and attentive as you make your selections. They ask questions and don't act like your stupid for not knowing what toppings come with what (like you find at some of the chains). I'm a cheeseburger purist so I go pretty basic with an all American cheeseburger w the regular toppings. You cannot go wrong at this place for a great burger perfectly cooked. I also don't feel like these are as greasy as other places but I'm sure the caloric count is the same. What is a must try? We cannot leave this place without their onion rings. Local burger restaurant in an industrial space with lots of local charm. Plenty of seating indoors! I was welcomed by prompt and friendly staff. This place is really casual and chill. Their workflow seemed particularly impressive and streamlined. While I was ordering, it seemed like the cooks were listening in from behind the counter and as I ordered they started making the food (like at Jimmy johns, you know?) The waffle fries were top notch amazing. And really filling actually! Delicious! I also ordered a steakhouse burger and a California burger with a Lettuce wrap bun. Im glad they had that option so I could eat my waffle fries without guilt haha. My only complaint is I wish their Lettuce wrap was double layered or triple layered, or had a hardier Lettuce like bibb Lettuce instead of romaine. We tried the Firecracker and Mushroom and Swiss burgers. They were both fantastic. Splitting a large fries with Cajun sauce was a great side. This is one of the best burgers I've had. The black and blue is outstanding with the Cajun seasoning, grilled onions, and blue cheese. The salmon burger my non-meat eater husband ate was fantastic. First, what great service! Super helpful, friendly, and covid safe. Partitions , everyone wearing masks and gloves. They brought out our food super fast and then brought knife I asked for immediately. There was a small lull in between customers and I saw the cashier walk around ask tables if they needed anything. A different server quickly cleared our plates when we finished our food but still finishing milkshake and soda. This might not seem like a big deal but everyone is short staffed and this is a fast, casual place. You don't get this service at similar same category places. Hands down the best burgers we have ever encountered in Michigan to date! Only lived here for 3 years and Burgrz is our weekly go to spot to eat the best Burgers. We are from SoCal and ate In-N-Out Burgers every week... Now Burgrz has taken their place and is 100x better! The Firecracker Beef Burger with Extra Extra Extra Extra Extra Jalapeños is my absolute favorite! I order it weekly, sometimes twice and always paired with their generous portions of Cajun waffle fries with sides of Zak Sauce and ranch! All toppings are customizable and FREE with the exception of bacon and avocado which is to be expected.. The staff is super nice and friendly especially Lena and Danny. The place is always clean! Everyone needs to give Burgrz a go! They are a local Michigan business, not a national chain although with quality food like this they very well could take the nation! They are super affordable compared to other places, roughly $8-9 bucks for a high quality big juicy made to order super filling burger... you just can't beat that, especially these days! If you do want to try the Firecracker Burger you must specify Beef if you want beef, it's on their menu as a Turkey burger. All their burgers are substitutable with Turkey, Beef, or Impossible Vegetarian burgers. I love a good burger that will blow me away and have me full and satisfied as I am leaving the restaurant. I really thought this restaurant would, but it really did not. The burgers here are much smaller than I had anticipated. They were not filling. I ordered the Bleu Cheese Burger, the Steakhouse Burger, and the Waggle Fires. Of the two burgers, I liked the Bleu Cheese Burger better than the Steakhouse Burger. It was mainly because of the fact it had the bleu cheese and onion straws on it. Other than that, the burgers were just moderate to me. They really did not stand out to me where it would want me to come back the next day. The service here was also just moderate. I ordered the two burgers and fries together on the same bill. It would be safe to assume and expect the whole order would be up and ready at the same time. But that did not happen here. I received each menu item at different times. I first received the Bleu Cheese Burger followed by the Waffle Fires a few minutes later. After about seven minutes or so, I still had not received the Steakhouse Burger. I asked the cashier that took my order what was happening and showed her my receipt. She asked the cook, and she informed me it would be up soon. It took about 12-14 minutes from the point that i received the firs burger until I received the second one. The Detroit Coney burger was absolutely delicious! I ordered it delivered by Seamless so I wasn't expecting it to be warm or cooked medium, but it was! A little pricey but they do a nice job with the patty. They leave an impression on it.
