I highly recommend Total Air & Heat as a air-condition repair/maintenance company. I use them every time I have an issue with my HVAC systems. My house is 20 years old and will occasionally need air conditioning repairs to stand up to the Texas heat. I have always received great service from them. I'm writing this review to commend two of their employees, Jayla and Justin. Incredible hardworking technicians that did a remarkable job replacing the main unit's cooling coil. The replacement coil was slightly different than the original in its dimensions. Both techs tagged team fashioning a new frame in the the attic. It was106 degrees outside, I can't imagine the heat in the attic. They were exceptionally polite, considerate, and personable. They kept me informed with progress updates throughout the day. You just don't see this type of service these days. Hats off to both these fine employees of Total Air & Heat. Thank you! A nice plug for Rafael Buda. Quick, ahead of schedule, quickly diagnosed the a/c issue and saw I tried to do things on my own and gave me the option of doing something minimal to save a few bucks. I love that and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and would ask for Rafael if possible. I tried to use AI to diagnose/fix the issue and it got me only so far and when Rafael saw what I did, he fixed what AI said that was wrong and the original problem...lol, thanks Rafael...Godspeed! read more

We had an issue with the AC system producing a burning smell while being 10 degree cold weather outside. The technician came out and diagnosed the issue in less than 15 minutes leading to us finding out that one of the main power terminals smoldered. He fixed it in about 10 minutes and had us back to a warm house. We asked him why this happened and he was very knowledgeable on how that may have happened. read more

We had them out in 2021 to replace our entire upstairs with a multi-stage AC and furnace. One of our biggest complaints about the old one-stage system was that it was EXTREMELY loud when it kicked on. We almost never hear our new unit come on, even during these Texas summers. The one that was replaced in 2021 has been working like a charm. We had them out again in 2023 to replace the single unit in our detached office. And sure enough, everything is running tip-top shape, and they are always prompt and courteous during the routine check-ups. My service tech was Trent. my AC stopped blowing cool air. I was expecting the worst news, but Trent found a burn wire are repaired it. He also found a burnt and pitted contacted. He suggested replacing the contact now or waiting until they failed to replace them. I elected to have them replaced now. He went on to conduct a thorough inspecting of the total system. We have been a loyal customer for many years. Their charges for coming to inspect the problem at the resident is way above market value. Unsatisfied with the cost.. even with inflation. when other companies are consistently 30 to 50 dollars less this is a complete ripoff.
