This is one of the best breakfasts had in my life. I had a protein overnight bowl, that contained oats, banana, peanut butter and some other things. It was so excellent and healthy at the same time. I love to eat healthy, and I like to have delicious foods. Additionally, I had a great vanilla cream cold brew. There's plenty of space inside to sit down catch up with a friend or just enjoy yourself while drinking coffee. You can also work out the coffee shop as well. They also have non beverage options for sale like books, honey etc. The staff seems friendly and quick to help with your order. I ordered a cappuccino and it was good plus the perfect temperature so I didn't burn my mouth or hands while holding the coffee. This super cool coffee shop was minutes away from our hotel, Hotel Indigo. Right down Prescott Alley, this place was on our right. We spent a few nights in Downtown West Chester for our anniversary on Memorial Day weekend, and I must've come here at least two or three times. The staff were friendly and patient in answering any questions about their menu and the drinks were delicious. I ordered two Oat Vanilla Bean Lattes and Oat Lavender Honey Latte during my stay. The lightly warmed croissant from a local bakery was also delicious. Great vibes overall, and the drinks definitely hit. Would definitely come back whenever I'm back in the area. read more

We came here on the advice of a Philadelphia inquirer article. I had a toasted pecan Latte and my husband had a holiday flight of lattes. As usual I requested less syrup pumps and enjoyed my coffee. My husband did not make the same request and his flight was a sugar overload. We split an Avocado toast which was decent. Mayday has got to be the cutest little coffee shop to ever come to West Chester. My sister and I used to live here, but since moving we make it a point to visit when we come home to see our parents. Our last trip did not disappoint! We tried to toast flight (we chose the Nutella & strawberry, PB&J with banana and the fig and prosciutto toasts!) with a vanilla bean beignet/donut (a classic!) and tried their new smickerdoodle cold brew and sugar cookie latte. Not only was it decorated like a little holiday wonderland, everything is delicious, the baristas are so kind, they have a great rewards program, and I just think everyone needs to know just how cute AND delicious mayday is. read more

Mayday is my go-to spot to visit whenever I'm in West Chester! I recently had their iced strawberry matcha latte and it was AMAZING. Their food is just as delicious. The vibes in here are always a 10/10 and the staff members are so sweet. They even have a flower shop in the back of the cafe. West Chester has a ton of cafes right now, but I highly recommend that Mayday be your first stop! read more

Very cute little coffee shop, with a bright decor. When I arrived, it was packed, and I had to ask some folks to move their coats so that I could find a seat. At the order counter, I opted for my customary mocha as well as their "adult grilled cheese," which featured gruyere, white cheddar, prosciutto and a garlic aioli, all on sourdough. In general, I found it all to be good. The mocha was a little on the sweet side for me--and I didn't quite get the espresso notes as strongly as I'd like, at least in proportion to the chocolate and the milk. (I'd also love to see drinks "for here" served in non-disposable cups.) The grilled cheese was tasty, though something gave mayo vibes--probably the garlic aioli--just a little more strongly than I might have preferred. They were super busy, so I suspect the kitchen was working quickly. Service was pleasant enough, though not necessarily enthusiastically welcoming. All in all, it's a solid spot, and I'd try them again if I were in the area. read more

I have been here three times and am not rushing to come back on a weekend morning which is usually when I'm in West Chester. The staff is very nice but the food service when it's even kind of busy is incredibly slow. Last time I was in it took over a half hour for a breakfast sandwich and I had finished my latte well before the food came out since the coffee was starting to be cold. The owner kindly made me another latte on the house and I didn't have the heart to tell him the eggs were slightly cold in the sandwich as well. My previous visit the barista accidentally spilled a drink all over my latte and also offered to remake it. Like I wrote above, really nice staff but I would love to have a smooth visit. read more

WOW this coffee is delicious! I have heard a lot of great things about Mayday from friends and family so I was excited to try when I was in the area. The store is super cute, bright and a fun vibe. There is a good amount of retail in the front and some great gift options for friends or family. They also sell fresh flowers that reside in a fridge near the pickup area. Ordering went by pretty quick but the line was short. I could tell it would be a decent wait if the line was longer. I decided to try their iced cinnamon honey latte. It was so delicious I actually went back for it the next day LOL! Not sure if this was just a seasonal drink but I hope they keep it for a bit! This place is aesthetically pleasing and super cute inside! I was visiting a friend in PA and she brought me here, and I can totally see why! Location is right downtown and near several cute shops. Unfortunately, the visit didn't start off too strong. We got there with a little over 30 minutes before close, and the lady at checkout did NOT seem happy that we just walked in. And, that was before we could even asked if we could sit inside or if our drinks had to be to-go. We did end up sitting inside because we knew we could finish our drinks before closing time. But the attitude was just uncalled for. We came for the latte sampler, and I'm so glad we were able to do that! I got a vanilla bean latte, a salted caramel latte, and a honey lavender latte. All of them were really good, but the vanilla was perfect. Very creamy and you could really taste the vanilla. Again, all of them were very good, but if I had to pick I'd go with vanilla.
