This is a significant Burlington location. I spent a bit of time perusing through the Home section. You may find that something you didn't know you needed. The women's clothing section is dull except for coats. They have a large stock of down-type coats. I found one for $17.99! This was an exceptional value as I don't wear a full-length coat often. It is for an outdoor sporting event I will soon attend. After that, it is okay to hang in my closet. The infant clothing and shoe selections are varied. I usually purchase something here as well. This store is fully stocked with lots of unique fines and bargains. I would warn you that you are going to want to stay in the store and browse for hours. They have lots of great clothing pieces, although you will have to take time to go through everything to find great pieces. They also have lots of house accessories, baby clothes, purses and shoes. Oh, and did I mention the awesome suitcases that they carry definitely in different sizes give them a visit. The line was very long with only 2 cashier that's the only complaint I have. read more

I walked in and received an amazing greeting for a stocker putting clothes on the rack in the women's section with a big warm smile. I didn't find what I was looking for but I found out that they are no longer Burlington Coat Factory but an Outlet of Burlington which explains why there were no coats but I did find something I needed. However checking out with my article of clothing is where my experience went completely off the rails. The floor manager had to fix on one of the registers in the middle of a large return while practically yelling down to another register and begging one associate to wait a few minutes before taking his break. I got to the register with the one that was fully functioning and I wanted to pay cash and the cashier tells me it has to be exact change as she didn't have any thing in her register to break a dollar bill!!! If I didn't have exact change I would have to use my card. I said that's disappointing. However, I paid with my card only to get to the door and find out she left the SECURITY TAG on the jacket I was buying which set off all sorts of alarms. The manager had to come over, take off the tag and apologize. read more

This Burlington store is by IKEA and all the various box stores. I decided to check it out. There was plenty of parking. There were also geese. I walked in. This store felt fairly new. The floors were shiny and merchandise was well-organized. It was almost as if someone knew that I was dropping by. The handbag section featured more Kipling bags. I got another one. I have never owned a grey purse in my life until now. I loved how it felt across my body as I wore it and continued shopping. Regularly, it would have cost $80. I got mine for $30. This store offers brand name items at discount prices, similar to Winners. I also got a six-pack of dress socks for my boyfriend. He is slowly getting into subtle patterns. This pack had a combination of thin stripes and plain colours. I enjoyed looking at novelty floats for your pool and electronics. I looked briefly at clothes, but I wasn't looking to buy any. I took an accurate count 28 people in line and 1 cashier on a Monday at 3:45 pm. This store has literally no customer service. The 1 cashier didn't even greet us after a 16 minute wait in line. SHALL I BLAME HER. NO!!! Meanwhile I see 4 associates walking back and forth getting 1 cart behind the checkouts. Does this task require 4 associates to get 1 half empty cart. NO. This store is just horrible. I will not visit this location again. If I didn't need a gift for a friend. I would have set my items down and walked out. This was such a horrible experience. read more

I received great customer service from Tyrone although the store was about to close in less than 30 minutes. He was helpful with loading my items in the cart that were too heavy and he helped me picked it out once I showed him what I wanted to match with my sofa (at home-via my phone). I was very satisfied with all of my purchases and the shopping experience from the sales floor to the checkout with the cashier. read more

By far the worst store I've ever visited. Every time I've came the line has had over 20 people and barely 2 cashiers that are open. The management doesn't even acknowledge the long lines and is making excuses up. There are 10 registers and you're telling me only 2 registers work, that's absurd. Corporate needs to see what's going on and make changes to this establishment. It's ridiculous to stay in here longer than expected and only purchasing one item smh. I know it's more than just 5 workers in here but I definitely know more registers should be open. Now an employee came to another register. I have been going to this location since they first opened up. This Burlington is definitely one of the bigger ones in the area - maybe just a bit smaller than the one at Concord Mills. Prior to Christmas, all areas were always clean, well stocked and organized. The variety for all clothing sections is spot on. If you are familiar with Burlington then you will know that you can get clothing and jackets at very price. I scored a pair of Christmas leggings that easily became my favorite pair for less than $6. Clothing for my son - easy to find and at great pricing. I was able to get him a polo jacket for $9.99! Definitely a winner in my book. I will say the last time I went, two days before Christmas - it was a mess. It was long lines everywhere, the racks and shelves were empty. But that was my only experience where it had been like that. I must say that this Burlington makes me enjoy shopping at Burlington again. It's definitely a one stop shop for all things home decor. I LOVE IT!! Stopped in for some Clemson swag on the way to ACC championship game. Grabbed a cart full of Tiger gear and then ran into line with 50+ standing there. Were they waiting to see Santa? This place....ehhhh....the lighting WRECKS MY WHOLE EXISTENCE. But I never leave without purchasing something householdish (is that a word?) I gotta give it to them, they have some nice steals you can randomly purchase. However, they rarely ever have anything specific. The line is always long so make sure your purchase is worth while and equally that you will not want to return it because you will have to stand in that long line again. On average I will go back on a random free day if I happen to go to TJ Max next door again (where I found nothing by the way) read more

The store is absolutely trashed. Broken things everywhere, people walking out without paying which after waiting in line for close to 40 mins I don't half blame them. No organization, there was mustard stains on furniture. I mean it literally looks like there hasn't been a staff member to check on anything in weeks. I'll start off by saying I don't have much experience with this store, but I recently ordered an item online and went to this location to return it (all online orders are returnable in-store). I gave this 2 stars because while I had a very frustrating experience, the cashiers I interacted with were very nice and the issue was not their fault. To do the return, I showed my confirmation email with the itemized receipt, but the cashier said he wasn't able to use that. After calling over a supervisor, she told me I should've received a second email with a bar code (I hadn't). Then she suggested to look me up by phone number. This worked and she left, leaving the cashier to refund me. But I swiped my credit card and it turned up "not authorized". We tried over and over and over again to put the money back on my card but it wouldn't work and my only other choice was a gift card. I really didn't want a gift card because I don't shop here much, so the cashier next to him offered to try her register. She also had trouble looking me up even by phone number and had to call the supervisor over again to help with that. Then the supervisor left again... and again, my card was declined. After causing so much trouble and feeling frustrated, I just decided to take the gift card, but then I called my bank on the way home and they said there was nothing wrong with my card, the transaction never even made it to them. They said the problem was with the way the cashier keyed in the return or there was a problem with Burlington's computers. I'm not surprised, but now it's too late to get my money back because it was already put on a gift card. I wish the supervisor had been a little more helpful and in-tune to what was going on in her line so that I could properly be returned my money. read more

So anyone that knows me knows that Burlington is my FAVORITE store...of all timeee! I love the variety of the selection. It's not too often that you find name brand clothes, houseware, baby items, shoes, accessories, makeup, and fragrances all at a discounted price. To some, Burlington may feel overwhelming, and this could absolutely be the case. I, on the other hand, feel right at home. I can spend endless amounts of time there, picking up items that I had no idea I needed. The cleanliness of the store is better than a lot of the other stores that offer a similar variety of items. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. During one of my recent visits, an employee saw that my buggy was overflowing and offered to hold the cart at the front and bring me another one to continue shopping with. I declined and used this as a sign that I'd gone overboard and needed to wrap this shopping experience up, but her gesture was very kind to say the least. I don't even need to go into too much detail about the prices, just think about what you would pay at the department stores, and slash it!! Enough said! For anyone who is not a fan of having to look through a huge selection of items to find what you want, this may not be the best option for you. For those who make an experience out of shopping at discounted prices and don't make spending time wandering aimlessly through the store in no hurry whatsoever, this is your store!! read more
