They recently moved the Burlington into the Argyle shopping plaza. Not a fan of the new location for a few reasons. Parking is already congested and this definitely makes the surrounding area even more congested. They are definitely making use of the space compared to the older location. The aisles are much more compact -- At least in the men's section. I'm not a big guy. If someone was browsing down the same aisle one person would need to go around in the opposite way even if they were browsing different racks. Not wheelchair or stroller friendly. The checkout does not have the 'next' available register indicator or speaker call out. If you are next in line pay attention because you need to look for an available cashier to wave you to the next open register. The positive is that there is a much better selection now and it's comparable to the location on Old St. Augustine. read more

This has got to be one of the best Burlington stores I've been to in a while. It's brand new and full of great merchandise. The store is bright and huge. Each department I walked by was tidy and well stocked. The shoe department had a fantastic assortment of different style shoes for the entire family. Prices were amazing. Even the clearance section was full of even better deals. I found so many good deals in the clothing department. The children's clothes were very affordable and the styles were just too cute. The dressing rooms were clean and well lit. A couple of staff members actually asked me if I needed any help finding something. This has never happened in a Burlington store to me before. Checkout was quick and I was asked if I wanted to join a loyalty program they had. It was free. You just have to give up your email. read more

This place has horrible customer service and the old white guy waiting at the lines has a power trip over who and how you walk through that line. He even threatened us to not let us buy their products if we don't do what he wants us to do. Keep in mind that this place was dead with little customers so they probably shouldn't run off their customers by having a power trip. Lucky for us, we have the money and we have the final decision so i left everything at the line, walked 25 feet over to Bealls and found the same products for cheaper. I spent my money at Bealls instead where they provided suitable customer service without the old white guy entitled power trip. He must think he's the Governor or something. He's living in a dream world. People like him is another reason why retailers are shutting down. With that much hassle, i rather go to Amazon and buy from them instead. I recommend to take the extra 25 ft to Bealls and get service with a smile not from some person thats miserable and wishes he had power. read more

Is this location closing? I have not been here in years but what I remembered was a visually appealing space. When I went in today each section of the store was not organized and some even bare. I did price check a couple of items and the prices were good so they have that going for them. If you want a scavenger hunt, this would be a good destination. read more

I've been to this Burlington Coat Factory a few times, and every time I'm here, it's worse. It's a huge hot mess of a store. Doesn't matter what time of year it is, it's disorganized to the point where it looks like a disaster struck. Shelves sometimes are stocked with open and/or broken items. I've only seen workers at the cash registers, never actually on the floor. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business. read more

I don't get a chance to shop here as often as I used to. But when I do, I always leave very pleased with my purchase, like I do at my other favorite stores. So Burlington is one if my favorites as well. They have my fast and style if clothing, shoes, jewelry/accessories and home decorations/interiors. The Manager Tyler is extremely disrespectful. Was rude and had no communication skills when being talked to, also lied to me about information multiple times then walked away and started taking photos of me and my fiancé once off the clock. When we asked him to delete the photos--he said no and that he was going to call the police. We spoke to another manager about it and he apologized for Tyler's actions but a simple apology does not mask one's disrespect. Great management. read more

The customer service here by the cashiers is horrendous.You stare at a customer as they put items on the register counter and wait till their cart is empty to tell them that your register is now closed and they have to get in line at the other one.Why couldn't you tell the customer that in the first place.You allow people to hold up the lines because they are still shopping and for some reason they are getting items rung up before they are even done shopping. then the cashier and another customer make racial remarks due to the color of skin and talk about getting a stick and whipping someone.Never again will i shop in this store and i will not recommend them.This is 2019 and i cannot believe the hatred towards people. I always forget about this store due to location I guess.I won't forget no longer cause they had amazing brand names on clearance. I went to Burlington cost factory to do some Christmas shopping, On 11/21/19. I brought my items up to the register area and I noticed only two registers open, I went to the second register from the front door and there was a gentleman doing several transactions, so I decided to go to the first register closest to the front door, they were done taking care of their customer, I started putting my items on the counter and the cashier and another girl with her were watching me as I was putting 7 items up on the counter , once when I was done, they proceeded to tell me they were closed and I had to go to the second register, I told them, that they should have told me before I had all my items up on the counter , I go over to register 2 and the gentleman is standing at the register waiting for the woman he is shopping with to come there with more items, So I told the cashier that I had my items and to ring me up and she did, in the meantime the gentleman s lady friend came back with a handful of clothes and was wondering how I was getting checked out when he was suppose to stand there until she came back, while I was checking out I overheard the 1st cashier talking with the customers that were already checked out when they told me they were closed, about if she had a stick in her car she would bring it in and beat me with it. I feel racially profiled here and I will never step foot in this store again. I have shopped here for years and I will take my business elsewhere and this place really needs to be choosy who they hire, because even the 2nd cashier was afraid to say anything about the gentleman trying to prevent anyone from checking out until they were done shopping. I would say this is a great Burlington for men. I scanned through all the female sections and the selection was scarce. The racks weren't empty but there were a lot of the same pieces and the style didn't seem to be in season. The store just kind of seems incomplete and not very visually appealing. This is the worst store I've ever stepped foot into, and that's really bad considering how much I hate Walmart. The store is a giant fire hazard with the way clothes are piled everywhere, blocking aisles. I can't remember any other store ever being so poorly organized. The products? Well, they're average. With the way the commercials rave, you'd think the store layout would be nice atleast.
