This place is like old reliable. It's always gonna be a little messy, there's always gonna be toilet paper on the bathroom floor, but you're gonna score some good deals, and probably find 10 things that you didn't even know you needed until you got here. Their purse selection is getting to be quite nice, in the spring, which is now they have a huge selection of luggage. The brand of luggage they have are all quality and the prices are great. Sometimes you can find some good deals hiding in the clearance areas. Even the regular prices are pretty good. Literally, whatever you need, you're gonna find it here, you need some underwear, yup, do you need some tie-dye T-shirts, Yep, You need a carry-on that's going to fit in the spirit airlines compartment? No problem. And while you're at it, you can get some Ray-Ban's, a curling iron, salon, quality shampoo, some gluten-free cookies, and a new frying pan. Wait, don't forget that nice, Nautica towel set and a cute outfit for your baby niece. So I used to work here. Yeaaa don't work here the store manager Rhonda was rude to me on the phone for no reason at all I was calling her about my paycheck and I was being nice and trying to figure out what's going on. she wants to sit there and yell on the phone saying your the only one who's check is messed up. which is crazy because ur a manager it's ur job to look into that stuff. This is one of those stores that I go to when I am feeling down, or when I have time on my hands, or just feeling like getting something for me or a friend. You walk in not knowing what you are gonna find, but 100% of the time walk out with at least a couple items . I love walking its aisles; there is always something for everyone. My favorite time to shop there is around the Christmas holidays! They have dangerous things that tend to call your name as you're walking down the aisles minding your business. One of my recent holiday purchases there was this adorable Christmas tree I put in my son's room. read more

I've shopped here several times, and usually leave with something. Store is kept nice and clean. On holidays they have a pretty big section exclusively for seasonal items and they're usually pretty unique and affordable. This is my go to place for Tupperwear and snacks. They have a relatively large selection of pet supplies, cookware, bedding & bath items, etc. Once in awhile I can find cute apparel but it's not usually easy, have to look for a bit. read more

TJ Maxx is still one of my go to place for random home finds and cheap kids' clothings. I've gone to every location in/near Jacksonville. I probably won't be back to this location (not that I matter or would make a difference in sales). I'm not racist by any means, but while there, at my last visit, with this whole "Chinese" virus being the top subject of the world right now, it was kind of embarrassing overhearing an African-American staff telling the customer she was cashing out, who was also African-American, that she felt there were "too many Asians here". Now, I'm not CHINESE, but I am Asian. All "yellow" people have always been thrown into one category. Chinese is a type of Asian, but every yellow person to Americans are considered "Chinese", so I get why everyone feels the need to look at all Asians as "the people to hate" right now. I just thought, coming from people who have been outcasted for so many years weren't the ones to look at US with hate or horror already. Don't forget the label "Chinese" virus came from the most racist man who's running our country. So sad at what our world has come to. read more

I'm not a fan of TJ Maxx. I used to work for AJ Wright which belongs under the TJX company and the clothing offered and pricing aligns with Department Store prices. I feel like TJ Maxx is a tad expensive and you do not get your money's worth. This location doesn't do much to help with that cause either. It always seems bare when I come in here, doesn't have the upscale feel and because my wife likes to "shop", each time I'm in here I can barely find any clothing I like. The decorations they have in the back are way too expensive. It's a no for me. read more

Is it customary for management at this store to record its customers entering upon opening on their personal phone? That's what happened this morning. So, unless you want rude customer service and a bag full of drama I'd venture to another TJ Maxx who will treat their customers like actual customers, and who will provide actual customer service. I'm not sure what the hell that was but there's no reason to film paying customers on your personal phone. I'm pretty sure you have security cameras throughout your store if there is something you are concerned about from that standpoint. Very odd read more

Shhhhhh... don't tell anyone, but TJ Maxx has been carrying Bliss products lately! I was first introduced to Bliss at the W hotel in Atlanta, and the body lotions and body scrubs are ahhmazing. I think the word may have gotten out already, because this last trip, the selection had dwindled a bit. But besides some of my favorite spa indulgences, I do love shopping at TJ Maxx for some name brand stuff, for people on a budget. Sometimes I'll find a pair of heels, (I always stalk the food for some Strabucks coffee), Yankee candles at a steal, and the occasional piece of clothing as well. The layout is way better than a Ross, and you won't have to do a ton of digging to find something cool. read more

Welcome to your new TJ MAXX store in your new home town! It was such a pleasant experience to "stop & shop" for a new interviewing suit for my job search. WOW! What a clean store, with soooo much to select from in ALL...not just small sizes! I found exactly what I needed. I checked out with my new wares to wear via the sweetest and the most humorous sales clerk, Haley, with the most customer service-oriented spirit I've had the pleasure to encounter in a long time. I am a bargain shopper! I love deals and I love not hunting for them. This store keeps the price low and the quality high. No big store markups either. You can find all kinds of name brands here for a third of the cost. I have found lucky brand jeans for $20. It's worth a swing through if your in the area. They are guaranteed to have something you'll love. read more
