This is your typical Burlington store, but you really can't beat the prices. I was able to find two Adidas boys' short sets for $16 each and a pair of soccer cleats for $22, which was a great deal. The store itself was clean and the shelves were well stocked, so it was easy to find what I needed. Like most Burlington locations, you do have to spend a little time looking around, but that's part of the experience. I don't understand how a loss prevention employee and they're a sales associate can tell me that it's too late to use the fitting rooms. When they were literally talking to each other and laughing and church chatting in the same area about concerts and where do they want to travel and taking time off, there's someone that used to work retail if my employees ever did that I would definitely write them up and fire them on the spot, especially for a loss prevention officer that isn't patrolling the store. He would've been so easy for a couple people just to grab some stuff at the front and just steal it. I suggest you need to retrain your sales associates and your loss prevention people or get better people to put on the payroll. read more

Seems to be marked up items that are then marked down to seem on sale or a good deal. I did however find a pair of jeans for $6 in clearance so there's that. Workers on the floor were upset and seemed rushed and bothered. Was difficult to get anyone's attention. At the register they were nice and busy as the line was long and it was hot in the store. They worked as efficient as they could be. Polite. Helpful. Seems just like a Marshall to me. Or maybe Marshall is like this place? Whoever came first lol They have fitting rooms which is helpful. Very bad customer service, specially this person named Liz who alleged she's the manager, when she looks like am regular employee she has a very trash attitude and rude attitude she doesn't have any respect and acknowledge. In how to be a good customer service Burlington you need to hire better people with experience in working with customer services should be your priority there's. The Burlington store in Oceanside is amazing. I seriously have to put stuff back because the prices are so reasonable that I have to remind myself that I don't need 12 new shirts. I find great stuff every single time I'm there, and I'm there a lot! People compliment me all the time and ask "Where did you get that?" I think people think they just sell coats. I read some of the other reviews and recommend that you use the bathroom before you go shopping there though :) Next time I go I will have to post some pictures of my haul. read more

A couple of months ago I came into this location for the first time. I was pretty impressed how well it was stocked, and how great the prices were as with any other Burlingtons I had been to. I made a mental note to return to this location soon for when I had a list ready to change up some things as far as home decor. So I was a bit bummed that when I'd returned it seemed cleaned out compared to my first visit. I had come back another time and it didn't look restocked except for the clothing dept. The appearance is now like the other Burlington's I have been in, picked over, emptied and unorganized. Should I even attempt another visit closer to the holiday's, maybe the shelves will be restocked by then? They had fall and Halloween decor displayed, but as far as home decor, and home merchandise that was quite sparse. The one good thing, that I give the 3 stars for, are the cashiers friendliness. Like many stores are lacking, cashier's, this creates long waits in line, but the friendliness and the thank you for waiting, from the cashiers changes the mood. I like to shop here. But I noticed that they made the restrooms only for employees. Me as a mother who shops with my daughters. THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! I'm pretty sure there's a lot of parents who go shopping here. Who's kids need to use the restroom. While parent are shopping. If you have to monitor who goes in the restroom, then please do that! It is very bad that they don't allow customers to use the bathroom anymore. They have the bathrooms locked all the time now and you can only open them by keypad password and employees refuse to give out the code or have an employee open the bathroom for you. They claim the bathroom is broken ALWAYS. Also this store has recently been pretty empty with hardly any selection. read more

It's a wonder this place is still in business. Christmas shopping season, store is busy and they have two incompetent clerks checking. Took these two geniuses 45 minutes to check out 5 customers. Store is mess, looks like it was stocked by the Tasmanian devil. Corker...bought $300 worth of merchandise to donate to children of active duty military, a shopping cart and a half. Guess what, the wheels on their shopping carts lock up 3 feet from the door so you can't take them out of the store. Good luck getting your purchases to your car and they don't have a solution or a concern about the customer. What a freaking joke. Will not ever patronize Burlington stores again, nor will anybody I have the opportunity to tell my story. read more

Brand new store next to the Japanese store Daiso. This store makes the shopping center complete as there was no clothing store on this side of the plaza.They had so much stuff including shoes, boots, jewelry, Christmas decor, baby clothes, and fall sweaters. The store is clean and welcoming. It was nice to see that they are fully staffed. As a single women, I was greeted and treated very nicely. However, there are lots of families with children here and it can be loud. There have several security and cameras around.However, it made me feel safe. Did not have any problems. Today was the first time that I've been to this brand new to town/Oceanside location. It's like night n day from other Burlington stores that I've been to. It's neat & clean! They have plenty of items for the Men, boys, and lots of stuff for babies and toddlers! I found the perfect sweatpants for my super tall & skinny son! Sweats with pockets too! I wasn't crazy for the clothes & dress selection that they had for the ladies though. That was lacking just a bit. There is a nice costume jewelry & watch selection going on. Some beauty supply, household items, seasonings, & even Keto coffee that I'm going to try for the first time! They had the exercise clothes displayed towards the front which totally makes sense since LA fitnesses is pretty much right next door. One of the checkers left when I was the only one next in line. She totally could have taken me before running off "to get her keys" and not left her coworker without a nice warning heads up. The girl who helped me was super nice. The lady who left seemed a bit brash but it could just be an authoritative personality. I'm not sure on that one. Other than that it was a good experience. Especially because I found money on the ground and nobody was right there to claim it. So in a sense I got paid to shop here! read more

I love Burlington. It is one of my favorite stores . Unfortunately, this is the closest location to my house, I live literally 3 minutes from this location so I have to use this store when i need to go to Burlington. Not all but most of the employees there are not pleasant AT ALL. One guy that works the cash register at night mostly is the most unfriendly associate I have ever come across. I read another review about this location, no longer allowing customers to use the restrooms; I had no I idea about this because I was not told it was only for employees now, however I also have a 3 and a half year old daughter who is learning how to potty train and as I was checking out close to closing time, she asked me in front of the guy if she could go potty. I asked the guy if she could use the bathroom really quick and he said" uh no, we would have to give a code and all that and uh nah..." my daughter ended up peeing her pants on the way out to the car. I was livid. Anyone who turns down a mother and toddler begging to use the potty because he wanted to get off early from what I could tell, or he didn't want to deal with having to go out of his way, or he wanted to get off on time and would allow a little girl to pee her pants is not someone I would ever let work for me. I am a business owner myself. Tonight I took a few things back, the same guy was working the register, I said "hey how are you?" he didn't answer me, he just said "register 3" and then when my husband was trying to decide what cologne he wanted to get the guy kept getting more and more irritated and when we asked him some questions he said " i really don't know man" then he threw our receipt at us and walked away. not a thanks have a nicer evening, no hi buy, or even a f*ck you...nothing. I have tried so many times to get this guy to be nice and it is like he refuses to be polite. He doesn't even try. He is rude. Then the other night when my daughter peed her pants, the guy working loss prevention and the woman who is the manager I believe were talking about my husband and I believe our daughter. They said th8ings I will not repeat but anyone working retail should have some sort of manners and I am sick of going in there and feeling uncomfortable and spending a couple hundred dollars every time. I was In Burlington today and it was packed full of people with no social distancing. I saw managers with no masks and people standing in line waiting to check out side by side each other. I asked a couple of the customers just step back a little bit as I was waiting in line and it caused a commotion and the manager just said nothing about social distancing and allow the other customers to stand right next to each other as the line wrapped around the store to check out. trying to find a way to report them to the state. read more

This location is new and much cleaner than the Vista one. Good deals on baby and kid clothes and gear. Good selection of men's clothes but the women's clothes are such poor quality. Every time I go to this location the line is extremely long and there is only one cashier. It takes forever to check out. What's ironic is that they have plenty of employees walking around watching to see if people are stealing though! The racks are often picked over or bare and the selection leaves a lot to be desired. I am very happy with this store. I recently wanted to return a pair of shoes I bought, which didn't exactly go my way, but I was so happy about how they handled the situation. A cashier named Jessica, was extremely kind to me and made me feel welcomed. Jessica and another woman went out of their way to help me, and even though it didn't work out, I left feeling happy about how I was treated. I know people leave nice comments when everything goes their way, but this is a nice comment and I didn't even get to return the shoes. This is an example of great customer service. I have never met Jessica or the other lady before this transaction, but I hope Burlington realizes the value of having great people working for them. The store has a great children's clothing section but as far as the rest of the store, it's disorganized, messy, and slow turning over inventory. The racks are bare and clearance is mixed in everywhere. A little organizing and maybe removing racks that have little or no merchandise on them would give this store a cleaner appearance. read more

The cashier that helped me was super sweet and fast. There were two younger workers messing around on the side of the registers not helping which was annoying. I am literally disgusted with the treatment we received this past weekend at this store. My boyfriend and I have been coming here since this location opened, spending $200 - $400 every single time and this past weekend we were so disrespected that we ended up having to leave before an altercation started. My boyfriend and I are both super easy going people, despite us both being followed by employees almost every time we're in there (me being followed while pushing around our 5 month old) even though we have never even thought about stealing anything from a store, we still just brush it off, do our best to ignore it and continue to spend ridiculous amounts of money every time we come in. I can not tell even start by saying how horrible their customer service is. My friend and I went to this specific Burlington because our coworker say they had really cute clothes. Since it was new we decided to go in. I WILL NEVER RETURN. We stepped foot into the store with our children. Man did we get the most horrible stink eye from the employees. It made us so feel so uncomfortable we had to leave just before that my 7 year old son was in front of the racks, one of the employees was right in front of him and would not move. It took for again my 7 year old to tell the person to move. I'm sorry but if this is how you open a new store I will not come back. You are in oceanside where we treat people with respect!
