It had been years since I stepped into a TJ Maxx and it was nice to get reacquainted. It's almost like a Bed Bath and Beyond / Marshall's / Kohls type of place but seem to have a lot of clothes. And they be shopping in there. Lots of clothes and shoes, some small kitchen appliances, some small furniture offerings, some food, storage options, organizers, luggage, makeup, a lot of stuff here. I didn't find any men's clothing or shoes there - I think Kohls as a better selection IMO, but picked up some good organizational items to use for the kitchen. Be weary of the prices - even though it may seem to best best or lowest price I like to check google for validation. Overall I spent a lot of time browsing but only came out with a couple of items. But I think it is a great option for your essentials, and it is always busy here too.

I found it at the TJ Maxx in Sunset Valley but when I got home, I put my hands in the pocket in the left one went all the way through. I had to return that to TJ Maxx in Sunset Valley. I'm working at the domain Whole Foods this week/weekend and I was able to go to the TJ Maxx on great Hills Trails after work and wow, they have so much more stuff! I got some great things on sale for six dollars! And I got the matching pants! That store was packed with merchandise. I even bought Christmas presents because they were marked down so much and I like to buy Christmas presents throughout the year so that I don't have to fork out a lot of money in December. I checked out with Lorena and had an awful experience, the very first thing she scanned was not on sale and while I told her that the signage on the item said it was but she just repeated several times that it wasn't and pointed turned around her screen to show me as if I didn't understand her the first time. I ran back and took a picture of the signs showing it was on sale and she just continued to be stone face about and said that it wasn't. I wasn't too attached to the shoes anyway so I just told her there's no way I'm buying that at the regular price. We were able to quickly find the sections we wanted to see and try without feeling overwhelmed. The baby section was especially impressive. We really appreciated being able to see and test different stroller displays in person. Since strollers can be a big investment, it was helpful to explore options hands-on before committing. Even without making a purchase, we walked away with a much clearer idea of what we'd want for our babies. I had a very disappointing experience with a manager on duty named Priscilla. I've spent around…read more$500 at this location in just the past few days and came in tonight to purchase four pieces of art. I decided against one but later called back to place it on hold. When I spoke with Priscilla, who claimed to be a manager, she was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. She told me she couldn't hold the piece in a sarcastic tone, and when I asked for her district manager's name and she responded by saying, "You can Google it." This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your brand. I ask that this situation be addressed, and that Priscilla receive additional training on professionalism and client service. A manager should represent the company with respect and class, not sarcasm and disregard. * Update: After going in today and speaking with Mabel and Sara--who had helped me previously--I received the level of customer service that should always be expected. It was phenomenal! They're both amazing, and truly set the standard for how clients, especially repeat clients, should be treated. Priscilla could definitely learn from their example. Kindness always goes a long way.
