This is our first b&b and probably a bad one for our first time. We're spoiled now! We're in the upstairs of the cabin. Host is very friendly and made us feel like family as soon as we walked in. The room is amazing- feels like we're at home! Reminds is of Chip & Joanna Gaines' farmhouse- that farm-housey feel but luxurious at the same time. Room is complete with comfy bed and linens, coffee maker, fridge, a huge tub, and even a steam shower!

    Welcome to the kitchen!

This was the most AMAZING Bed and Breakfast!! I brought my Best Friend here for a special birthday surprise! We haven't seen each other in years! She mentioned this B&B and I checked it out online and fell in love!!! Once we arrived it was better than the pictures!! It is a must see!! Jennifer even heard me say in our phone call it was Robyns Birthday and she had a Sign made for her ready in our suite!! Breakfast was first class every morning! Jennifer is a trained chef! And you can tell, not only by looking at the plate of food in front of you, but the taste, oh, the food melts in your mouth!!! We stayed in the master suite! It was unbelievable!!! It had a den with a fireplace and a master bedroom and large bathroom with walk-in shower and whirlpool tub! Let me tell you, it was unbelievable!!

Jen the proprietor was delightful and joined us for breakfast on our first morning, prepared by her. It was quite a spread. Just let her know what you want the night before and you get it and a whole lot more. We caught a glimpse of Jen's husband but it seems like Jen is the "out front" person. We are going to ride horses later today. We are not familiar with horses and have each only been on a horse once in our lives but we like trying new stuff. Jen has assured us there will be no galloping or cantering and will provide a lesson before we saddle up. It is Early April 12pm around 45 degrees. We moved our ride to 12pm so it would be a bit warmer. My wife rode Domino I rode Hank. We had a lot of fun. We actually trotted for a bit. Jen was great. Our room is cozy but large on the second floor with a constellation on the ceiling. A private bath with double sink. Very nice. If you like cats like we do you will love the place. There are 7 4 inside and 3 outside we met them all. Very friendly. There is one dog also a friendly fellow. The house was immaculate. We took a hot tub on our last evening here and it was very nice. Tomorrow our final breakfast then back on the road A very enjoyable stay. Nancy & Mark.

The room was warm and inviting with a fireplace and treats for late night snacks. I enjoyed raising the blinds in the morning to let the sun in. Then, I grabbed a tea and sat on the front porch and took it all in. It was easy to nap in the recliner during the afternoon with the sun beaming down on me. Jen and her family are some of the most laid back, welcoming people I have met. The breakfasts were world class and delicious, made by Jen. I purchased her cookbook to ensure I had the opportunity to enjoy the dishes again! I highly recommend staying at First Farm Inn. I know I will definitely go back.

If I could, this would have been a 2.5 star rating…read more The good: The location was great, whether you are flying out of the airport or simply exploring Cincinnati across the river. The morning breakfast was surprisingly good as well (served until 10). Tasty sausage and waffle machine options, as well as biscuits and gravy and the basic continental breakfast options. The indoor pool looked inviting and we appreciated the free and ample parking. Another nice touch was the drinking fountain with the filtered water bottle fill up. The price was great for the location and what was included. We appreciated that our family of five could get one room that fit all of us. The bad: my kiddos wanted me to add the empty "free check-in desk cookie container" here. More pressing/vital issues than the cookies-The inside needed some help with humidity, as the smell was immediately extremely musty and air felt damp. In the room, all of the sheets and towels felt moist to the touch. Our room needed many items replaced, including a beat up lamp shade with stains and dents galore, a remote that didn't allow down button to work, and TV near couch not working at all. Most importantly (and unfortunate), the pullout couch was completely broken. My husband and son couldn't figure out why it wouldn't unfold until we saw that the entire bottom leg was broken off and the frame held together by a phone cord of some kind. We had to put the stained and torn mattress on the floor for our son to sleep on. There was also no bedding for the pullout in our room and we had to go down and get it, which isn't ideal after a long day out and about. If we hadn't already unpacked and had our younger children asleep in the other room, we would have requested a new room.

I don't get on my hands and knees like other people seem to do so idk if there was anything under the beds. Didn't use the microwave but the fridge did work. Coffee pot worked also. Sink and toilet were clean and worked good. Didn't use the shower so can't comment on that. TVs seem old but didn't watch tv so didn't care. The pool was extremely loud and overcrowded. Sign said no more than 15 in the pool and there was at least 25 people in there. No chairs to sit in except maybe 6 and they were all being monopolized by the same loud people our entire stay. Water was freezing. The breakfast was just so so compared to other hotels I've stayed at. All , and I mean all the tables were dirty. Some woman was taking all the sausages and tried to justify to me why she was doing so. Went to eat biscuits and gravy and the biscuit was like a hockey puck. Creepy weird tweaking and twitching guy by elevator didn't feel safe going on there alone with my teen daughter. Also some guys kept lingering in the hall by our room. Doesn't seem safe for women traveling alone. Didn't see any bedbugs or ants or anything kind of bugs so not sure why other people said they did. There are no gas stations or restaurants nearby but if you drive 15 minutes away you can find some. I guess there is a restaurant in the Marriott but didn't try it. Overall the room and front desk staff were great but the pool needs to be monitored, breakfast needs to be a little better and a little cleaner. Also making sure random dudes aren't lingering all over the floors might be a good idea also.

Some minor construction work was happening on the upper floors but otherwise quiet. I don't like to compliment or criticize without offering a solution because nothing is ever going to be perfect!! 1. Again proximity to business and interstate is great!! 2. Price was more than I expected but when you need a room and everything else is booked or too expensive you will find something that you can handle i paid 158.96. 3. No free breakfast included with that price at Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn express includes a free breakfast though. Suggest that they offer a free breakfast, it's that simple. Currently breakfast is 8.00 per person for a small buffet style. 4. Good thing I wasn't paying for a view...can't fix that. 5. Great water pressure, immediately got hot water, shower knob leaked. Fix it. 6. Ice machine on my floor broken, had to go to 4th floor for ice. Call maintenance, fix it. 7. Vending machines take credit cards and proper change, no bills. 8. Their room keys are solid and don't fail no matter how much you use them. Guest service people extremely nice, informative and professional!!

We checked into our room around 11 PM, and received great customer service from Bridget. Our room was clean, and this was a decent place to stay before our early flight the next morning. You just can't beat the location - it's less than 10 minutes to the main airport terminal. The main reason we selected this hotel was their "Park Here, Fly There" program. For less than $200, we spent the night before our flight, and then registered our car and left it parked for up to seven days at the hotel. After the room rate, the parking comes out to around $10/day, which is so much cheaper than many of the other options nearby. They even have a FREE shuttle to the airport that leaves every 30 minutes. It operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and I can confirm that because we used this service on Christmas morning! The shuttle will even pick you up from the airport and bring you back to the hotel when you land on your return flight - though we ended up just taking an Uber because we didn't want to wait in the cold. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a convenient place to stay before a flight with ample and inexpensive parking! We'd definitely book this package again the next time we fly out of CVG.

Cons: -Bedding shows wear and needs to be replaced, sheets were stained but not actually "dirty" -Non-smoking room smelled like stale cigarettes. An air freshener or some febreeze would go a long way. -There is a lot of traffic noise from the nearby highway and from people walking in the hallway. I've stayed in a wide range of hotels/motels and for the price per night this was was a great deal. I plan to stay again the next time I am in the Cincinnati area.
