I recently checked out this gym to see if it was a good fit for me, and wow! I am blown away by how amazing this gym is. From the moment I walked in I felt very welcome and like it was a community that I was able to work out with. I created friendships on day one and now we are constantly checking in together to see our next workout. The trainers that I have experienced so far are all very professional and encouraging to help push yourself to the next level. This is a very clean gym! I have actually left gyms in the past that were too clicky, and did not make me feel welcome. I will definitely be signing up to join this gym full-time ! read more

Ever since I heard burn boot camp was coming to reno, I was excited! My cousin in vegas always posts about the gym so I was influenced heavily! I signed on as a founding member which was the best time because it was the lowest rate to sign up with. In this era of my life, child care is important so I am happy it is included with my membership! The child care is clean which is important. They also have in body scans which is great to use as baseline and for follow up for your body stats: muscle, fat, water weight. A lot of the instructors I've known previously from gyms I've been to before so for us to cross paths again makes it more welcoming! Classes are offered as early 5am with child care starting at 8am. Every class is different and on social media we receive the schedule of what to expect for the week. I like this as I can mentally prepare if it will be a cardio class or a strength class. The energy is so positive and everyone is working on themselves you won't feel discouraged as there are people from all different ages and fitness levels! Classes are 45 minutes long which is fast! 5 stars for everyone and everything about this place. I have tried several gyms and workout places in my years in reno and this one has it all. The game changer for me was the free childcare that was included in the Jim membership. And to top it off the teachers that watch your kids are almost 100% consistent other places we've gone. There's a lot of turnover which makes it hard to leave your Littles in such uncertainty. The workout is fantastic for all levels of athletes. The owner Rebecca works tirelessly to create a community within the community to support and motivate each other. I love Burn! I've been going to classes since they opened and it has been one of the best parts of the last year for me. The community is wonderful, trainers push you while also meeting you where you're at, and the owner is so incredibly kind! Also is very student friendly and a place for anyone to work out. Even my boyfriend started going with me! I have never felt as physically strong as I have since going to burn. They also have a body scan machine so you can see how your body changes with time. I also love the way the classes are set up! 45 minutes and you're guaranteed to feel accomplished leaving. I recommend Burn to all my friends and they have a free trial if you're on the fence. Such a fun workout class for every level of fitness you're coming in with! I started with Burn with no history of working out and was not active at all but all the instructors helped me not only master good form during the workout but also how to support my workouts with nutrition. I have invited a lot of my coworkers to go with me and my mom even got a membership herself! Burn was appealing to me because of the childcare they offer, it allows me to take care of myself so I can be better for my kids. They also offer body scans for members and there's always something fun going on every day, week, and month. I have nothing but amazing things to say about burn bootcamp south Reno! The trainers are great, the owner is amazing, and my five year old begs me to go to the kids watch every day! I'm 23 weeks pregnant at the moment and have been working out throughout my pregnancy at Burn and the trainers are always sure to provide modifications so that I can safely continue my workouts. Another great thing is that you can bring your babies to the kids watch at a few months old - I'm excited to jump back into the gym once I'm healed, knowing both of my kids will be in good hands. The trainers are looking out for you and encouraging you to lift to the potential you personally didn't know you had or weren't willing to try on your own. LOVE IT HERE!! The owner Rebekah and her team are awesome!! Karen and Brooke up front are so helpful and super sweet. Being able to get a killer workout in and being able to bring my kids is huge. I have a 16 month old and a 4 month old. Amanda, Kayden and Marie in the kids room are all amazing and my kids love them! The camps are 45 min and the trainers Rebecca, Kristen and Zach are all so amazing. They push you to be better and stronger and can also modify anything in camp if needed. This place is amazing. They have the BEST trainers, fun challenging workouts and an upbeat environment. In 45 minutes I feel like I've had my butt completely kicked, but in the best way possible. I love that no day or exercise is the same and I'm not just grinding away on a treadmill! Plus... and this is a HUGE plus for me, I love love the schedule camp times. Having 9 and 10am times really works with my unique work schedule! I look forward to the focus meetings and watching my body transform over over the next several months. I have participated in many group exercises, and this is by far the most fun (and challenging). Rebecca, Kristen, and Zach are the best--they're all very encouraging and motivating, pushing you to try harder and exceed your limits. I love the focus on different body parts and aspects of health (balance, strength, cardio, etc.), and the fact that it's the same class all day long. If you miss one, there's always another! Not a big fan of gyms in general because I know I'm not held accountable but at burn boot camp they hold me accountable and I love that !! They push me to be the best I can and they correct me if I'm not doing something properly! The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly and try to remember everyone's name !
