I have been going to BurnCo for years now, and I can't imagine ribs cooked any better than BurnCo cooks theirs. I tell folks each rib is like a mini filet mignon. Their "grilled" macaroni and cheese is a delicacy. Their baked beans are excellent. Their customer service, where they serve customers waiting in line, a barbecued rib is a welcomed surprise. I remember one time when I was waiting for a "to go" order, I asked three Kansas City young business men who were in town and eating lunch AT the BurnCo restaurant what they thought of BurnCo in comparison to Kansas City barbecue and all three of them gave me strong thumbs up. Really good BBQ found here! I won't lie, I was disappointed in the sides available that were pork-free. The coleslaw was really good, but it would have been nice to be able to eat the Mac and cheese... I was also disappointed that I missed the burnt-ends (Wednesday's only). Wow, this place is incredible! Some of the best bbq I've ever eaten: the ribs are phenomenal, the brisket and pulled pork are amazing as well! My kids loved their hamburgers. This is a place you must try if you like bbq. The prices can be on the high side, but it seems like you are getting high meat, freshly prepared every day. We ordered the Happy Plate - which is designed to feed a family of four. Let's see...2 hungry adults plus a large appetite = 4! Sounds good. Expect a 35-ish minute line wait on weekends...We came at 6:30 on a Friday night and they ran out of food. Huh??! Yes, they did...Once they run out of food, they're out, so we came back the next day. Was finally able to get in this location after several attempts but almost every time I go there sold out of items but I finally hit the jackpot. Their ribs are some of the best I've ever had & I swear there's coffee grins in the rub ‍ could be wrong but I love em nonetheless. Their Mac & Cheese is without a doubt the best ever . I've been to the downtown location a couple of time. Once for lunch & once for a private event. Living out south, it was never worth fighting the line for lunch but now this south location is open, I've come twice since they opened. I know others that come weekly. The BBQ is well known in town and very good. This time we had the ribs, brisket, potato salad & Mac & cheese. First time I've had the Mac & cheese and it is delicious. Will try to get every time but they only serve that on weekends. And it runs out quickly. The potato salad is more like smoked chunky potatoes. I like it but don't expect a mayo picnic salad. Today the ribs were the best I've ever had. This was the best experience there that I've had. Food was on point!! My friend got the chicken drumsticks and they were huge. She got and order of 3 and a man could probably eat all 3 but that's a lot for most women. My main issue with Burn Co is that the menu is all ala carte. Maybe my expectations were too high since I'd been told to go here by a Tulsa native (I'm visiting from NYC) but I feel from traveling through Texas, Kansas City, Nashville, and more I've started to acquire a good taste for good vs average BBQ, one of my favorite cuisines. I also expected to be mindblown by the line out the door 15 minutes before the restaurant even opened. The ribs were okay but not incredible to me. The brisket on the other hand was VERY good so I definitely will give props on that. I ordered ribs and a homemade sausage and while the ribs were great I found myself really loving the sausage. And was luck to have visited on one of the days they served the smoked mac and cheese - outrageous! Highly recommend. Easy to access location with plentiful parking. Just happened across burn after an Aquarium trip. I have to say great BBQ. I'm usually a turkey guys but we got a BBQ sampler with two orders of jalapeno sausage, grilled potato salad and Mac and cheese. Not only was this less than 50 bucks and enough to feed three people but it was all great! The grilled potato's with green chili pepper and onion was fantastic. The Mac and cheese is smoked the ribs are great (you'll probably get a taste while in line) and the sausage is homemade and really excellent as well. I haven't had a smoked chicken leg before and that's also a must. So definitely do yourself a favor in jenks and stop by Burn for some BBQ. read more

Pretty big location, set up like the original place. It is loud with music and employees yelling. I like 90s music, so I liked the music, the employees were a little annoying. I really don't want to see employees handling my food with one hand and a phone in the other. I don't want "phone been everywhere germs" in my food. I was there after noon and they were out of sliced brisket. I had the chopped brisket sandwich, tender and tasty meat. They must have changed their sauce recipe, I like it now. This is a DO NOT GO We went for dinner Saturday night. Got in line roughly 5:30pm. We stood in line for over 40+ minutes only to get up there and be told they only have a "refugee" plate. The leftovers that no one really wants. They have everything else crossed off in a menu that you can only see at the cash stand. So by 6:30pm, they have nothing. You stand in line for a long time, getting very hungry, to only be told you can have scraps for $12 by a very grumpy cashier. The food here was to die for. I am not huge into BBQ, but dang the BBQ here is killer. We had brisket and pulled pork with baked beans, grilled potato salad, and coleslaw. They serve everything with head country which is fine by me. No need to reinvent the wheel when head country BBQ sauce is so good already. Aside from the brisket being so amazing, I must comment on how much I enjoyed the grilled potato salad. Many BBQ places don't have something unique to offer, but grilled potato salad is definitely unique and absolutely delicious! Another unique menu item here is "the fatty" which I plan to try next time I come here. With "the fatty" I plan to try the mac and cheese since they don't serve it on Sunday when we were there. We were offered a bun for the meat which was a nice, soft bun, but I'll admit I was a little disappointed there wasn't toasted bread. On Sunday they do have a family plate special that's $30 which is supposedly a good deal since it's a lot of food. However, the person taking our order neglected to tell us about this special even though we told him we'd never been here. This was a little disappointing but now we know for next time. The service overall was just not great. It wasn't bad service necessarily, they just weren't very friendly. Honestly though, some places the food is soooo good, the service doesn't even matter. This place meets that exception. I'm not sure I'll go anywhere else for BBQ from this point forward. The place has a really cool vibe with chalkboard menus with info on the various offerings. There are oversized picnic tables lining the entire dining room in addition to an extra side room. The to go fixings are set out in the middle for easy access so you don't have to go up and ask for them which is really convenient. We were welcomed as we walked in the door, given free samples of BBQ to try as we surveyed the menu and a free bag of chips for our little son. Burnco became a BBQ legend with their first location. Long lines of folks each day to sample their cooking. It wasn't unusual for them to run out of meat before the crowd thinned. Now they have another location at the Riverwalk in Jenks. The food is the same and is all cooked on a slew of Hasty Bake charcoal cookers. The portions are large and so are the crowds.
