Pretty cool place to eat at. From Texas and never had a "fancy" sit-down restaurant. It was pretty empty when we got there, maybe an hour before they closed but still pretty good service. Waitress was super nice, did a great job checking on us and kept our drinks refilled before they got empty. Food was pretty good, the bacon didn't have much smokiness to it but everything else was Smokey. We ordered the brisket queso, 2- two meat combos with chopped brisket, sliced brisket, pulled pork, mac n cheese, potato salad, and baked beans. The baked beans were pretty sweet, the noodles in the Mac n cheese were a little too overcooked for our liking, the potato salad was a bit too mustardy which was definitely past our liking. The meats were good, pulled pork was our favorite, they all had good Smokey flavor to them and were super tender. Definitely would come back again if we're ever in town.

Playing a tournament in Tulsa and leaving on a Sunday. This was the closest bbq place open on Sunday so we had to try it. Service was great, very happy and energetic! Place was pretty quiet. The food was okay not the best bbq I've had. Fried okra was awesome!

Stopped here to eat some BBQ during my travels. I sat at the bar and ordered the 3 meat: brisket, ribs, hot links, with salad and baked beans. Everything was delicious The service I received by Mercedes was great. She is nice, fast, and efficient... she was pretty busy too working the bar and surrounding tables in her area. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of nice TV's you can see wherever you're sitting. Nice bar selection. If you're waiting for a table, you can also go out front and play complementary corn hole.

Albert G's in Tulsa Hills is a "go-to" for many people in my office. It's close, easy to get seated, and very consistent. The service is almost always great. The servers are quick, courteous and don't hang around your table too much. The ambience is great, it's not too loud, and the bar looks like a fun place to hang out. Most recently, I had the 3-Meat lunch, with sliced brisket, ribs and sausage, and fried okra and fries. There was more food than I could finish, but my wife appreciated me bringing home some leftovers! Classic BBQ at reasonable prices, and lots of options!

Update: forgot to mention exceptional service from Justin and Ashley. Thanks. Convenient location, good food, fast service, great ambiance. Have visited this Albert G's location twice. Have had their chopped brisket, sliced brisket, and ribs. The brisket was solid, on par with what you'd expect from a *good* BBQ joint. Sauces were very good. The ribs though, the ribs were next level. A "GREAT" rub on them, they've got an absolutely fantastic crispy bark that's just packed full of flavor. The brisket is good and worth eating. The ribs are worth multiple return visits.

Okay let's get into it. I'm from OKC born and raised now living in Texas. I made a stop to get some Oklahoma BBQ here. Maybe we do BBQ different in Oklahoma City. Our bbq culture is more uniform in nature. Take what I say as biased view. Ribs: 3 stars. - they had very little meat and lacked the tender pull typically associated with ribs Hotlinks: 3 stars. I'm use to red casing hotlinks. One thing I pride myself on are red casing hotlinks in Oklahoma. Also the grain or the meat was off a little Bologna: 2 stars. Looking at a cross sectional cut of the bologna revealed a small smoke ring making the center of the bologna smokeless. The bologna also was thinly cut BBQ sauce: 4.5 stars. They nailed it. Perfect sweet and heat combo Okra 4.5 stars. Great crunch and flavor. Baked beans 2.5 stars. I'm used to a darker consistency from being smoked and the bbq sauce content. Their's felt more like pork n beans with a little bbq sauce ---- If I were an out of towner not from central Oklahoma I'd say stop in

3 Dinner Three Meat Combo: ribs, brisket, turkey w/ mac & okra

The space feels like it was previously a chain restaurant... the decor is minimal and heavy use of wood but, not a smoke house vibe. It's also not bad. My server was very punctual and professional. Honestly, he'd bump up the score to a 4 but, this spot really is a 3.5! Here's the important part... brisket is a fail! I asked for moist and while it was served with a layer of marble, it was overly salty and DRY!! I didn't even finish it. Def not impressed. The turkey was pretty typical. The ribs had a good flavor profile and smoke ring. The mac n' cheese had a weird taste, maybe a cheese I'm unfamiliar or just weird! The okra was the only thing hot, on my plate. Would help if they shook the basket in the fryer, early after the drop; there were too many clumps of several pieces stuck together. It's safe to say, the hotel staff recommended a bust! This is a place that works but, it's not gonna blow your socks off and unless you don't know good bbq, you'd never visit multiple times.

I'm my opinion, making good bbq on a commercial scale is a massive challenge. You can only achieve a limited level of success that will never surpass homemade good bbq. This place is not bad but I did run into some predictable circumstance of some meats being somewhat dry. With this said, the ribs were pretty good but the brisket was a little dry. I actually enjoyed the bologna and appetizer the most. Get the appetizer as your meal if you wish. It's sooo good. It has fries with pulled pork and cheese curds. It's a knock off of Poutine! Huge portion, Super good!

G's Debris, fried cheese curds, French fries, brisket and brown gravy.

Great food, excellent service and an all around excellent place to grab lunch or dinner.

This is what's left over AFTER the boys are done eating!

Albert G's Bar-B-Q (Tulsa Hills) Disappointing Delivery Experience…read moreI ordered dinner for delivery from Albert G's Bar-B-Q at the Tulsa Hills location, and unfortunately the food did not meet expectations. The ribs lacked seasoning and didn't taste smoked. The Polish sausage had very little flavor. The chopped brisket was dry and under-seasoned. The baked beans were not cooked properly and were unpleasant to eat. The mac and cheese tasted like it was made with Velveeta and lacked flavor. The only items that were enjoyable were the barbecue sauce and the bread. My ratings: * Ribs: 4/10 * Polish sausage: 2/10 * Chopped brisket: 4.5/10 * Baked beans: 1/10 * Macaroni & cheese: 3/10 * Barbecue sauce: 5/10 I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that the kitchen can make some improvements better seasoning, proper smoking, and more care with sides could really make a difference. I'd like to see this location step things up in the future.

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

We ordered the tri tip dip sandwich which was the highlight of the meal. It was delicious. We also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and that was full of flavor. The focaccia was on the dryer side and the chicken didn't fill out the bun so it was just kind of off texture wise and lacking fullness but the favor was 10/10. The chips and red onion dip were a nice little touch. Something I've never had before and we enjoyed it

This place is the best bbq in Oklahoma, and I know that's a bold statement for something out of a trailer, and yet it's true. I absolutely stalk good bbq places and so I usually don't put too much stock in them meeting me expectations.
