First off I'd like to say at first when I began using Yelp I would give 5 stars to a establishment if I thoroughly enjoyed it. Since then I have become more critical. Now I feel as though 5 stars are for a place I would think anyone would like or the best place for the speciality of the establishment. I really do feel that out of any place I have rated 5 stars this is the one that earns it the most. I have gone to a handful of cigar lounges one even in Cancun that was vey good but this cigar lounge measures very favorably. First off the establishment is very clean, its cleaner than bars in the area that are't cigar lounges. The decor is also nicer than most surrounding bars. With granite bar top, nice tables and chairs and even leather couches and cannot forget the mulitple big screen tvs. It also has a outdoor patio. The cigars are kept in a decent size humidor room, and the staff are incredibly nice and warm making you feel like family. They are very knowledgible about the cigars. They also sell humidors, lighters and cigar cutters. They also have about half a dozen beers on tap and a nice size lists of wines. The bar is not so big but there are very nice tables to sit ad enjoy a cigar and a drink, as well as leather couches. The staff was amazing, beer was cold, and never did I have to track someone down for another serving. I had a great time, for anyone that smokes even if they aren't cigars this is a must visit spot in the area, and I would even recommend it to someone that doesnt smoke, as there is also outdoor seating. read more

My boyfriend wanted to pick up a few cigars on the way home from dinner so I pulled out my Yelp app to see what Margate had to offer. I kind of figured we would end up at a liquor store that also sold a few cigars, but Smoke Inn came up. His intentions were to pick up a cigar or two and head home to enjoy them on the patio, but when we realized the Smoke Inn was a full on cigar lounge, we decided to stay for a bit. He went inside the humidor and started shopping around, while I headed over to the bar. They serve wine (just your basic house wines in a few varieties of red and white) and I went with a pinot noir. They also have a few beers on tap, more than just bud and bud light, I think my boyfriend got a shock top. I was happy that I was able to start a tab that could include my wine, and also whatever my boyfriend was getting in the humidor, the bar register and the register at the entrance are connected. They have a nice lounge area inside with leather chairs and couches, as well as many high top tables, all complete with ash trays of course. Since I am not a smoker, we opted to sit outside on the patio where I would have a better shot at fresh air. The patio was nice. A few guys had brought a board game and were enjoying their cigars and drinks while playing, while others were just sitting and chatting. I really have no idea how much cigars cost, and I'm assuming there is a large price range, but when I paid the tab, which included two glasses of wine, one beer, and two cigars, it came to $30. I thought this was a pretty reasonable, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Though I don't smoke, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here with my boyfriend if he wanted another cigar lounge night. They have wine for me, and the service was friendly. If I actually liked cigars I may even call it a hidden gem in Margate. read more

Everyone that works here is extremely well educated in the cigar world. You tell them what you're in the mood for and they hit the nail on the head every single time. The selection is HUGE. I don't smoke cigars, but my boyfriend does and when I want to surprise him, but have no clue what the hell to buy or what I'm even looking at when I go in here, the employees guide me like a lost child to safety. Great owners, and a great cigar selection. Very comfortable and relaxing place to watch a game and have a cigar. On Wednesday's they have a weekly poker tournament that is a lot of fun, and gives you opportunity to meet a lot of the regular customers. I am fairly new to Yelp, and hate that my first review has to be only one star. I came into this place with my Boyfriend on a Sunday to watch a football game. We walked in and were greeted nicely with a smile, we went into a room filled with cigars and one of the employees were quick to come in and help my boyfriend pick out a cigar. He was very nice, and seemed to know a lot about cigars. My boyfriend was all smiles, and soon I was too when I saw they had one of my favorite wines. Everything was fine until we started hearing a group of guys saying racial slurs and acting like they were completely college drunk. We were very offended, the worst part about this was the guy that helped us that worked there was sitting with them and didn't care to do anything about it, and he was in the conversation with them. It was almost like they wanted to be heard so my boyfriend and I would get mad and say something. Since my boyfriend and I are not confrontational we didn't say anything, paid and left. Its such a big disappointment that people in this day and age are still using the word Ni**er when someone is in the same room as them freely. I would have given this place a few more stars if the people speaking like this were just customers, but since it involved someone who works there it makes me furious and I would not go back to this place because of that.
