Just left this establishment and I got to say, it was the best experience I've had in a smoke shop. You know if it was good if I'm typing this in the car. Great vibes, and even better customer service. I am thoroughly impressed. The inside was clean and organized. The variety of products were great, too. There's something for everybody. If you come in for one item, you may walk out with about 5. A candy store for adults, I should say. So many scents of candles and sprays. Al and D (I want to say donte but Im sorry I already forgot) was a great duo. Loved to see them have a conversation as it seems they have great working chemistry. Seriously the best smoke shop I have been in since I moved to Houston some 25 years ago. And I don't even smoke anymore! I was actually looking for a nice wooden box with a lock for a birthday gift. The locksmith a couple doors down was devoid of customer service and anything even remotely close to what I wanted. So when the wife and I walked out of there empty handed she had the bright idea that a smoke shop might have a nice humidor or "hidden treasure box" like what I was seeking. Not only did they have exactly what I was looking for but the manager who waited on us was extremely knowledgeable on the manufacturers and quality of each box we asked him to take from the display case. I bought a beautiful Wicca box for $70. I couldn't be happier with the look and price. We poked around a bit more and talked to him about the vapor cigs and the beautiful hand crafted glass pipes from Texas glass blowers. They were works of art and the manager knew each artist and their method of crafting the pipes. A lovely midsized humidor with a nice selection of cigars. Of course plenty of incense and oils and smoke accessories. The place is super clean, well lit and completely without any sex toys, X-rated videos and dancewear. It's for serious people who like great customer service and well made products. I don't have call to buy many of their wares but those that I do need on occasion will come from this place from now on. read more

The premier smoke shop in Houston. Period. These cats have inventory that other shops simply can't, or won't, afford. There are multiple cases and wall displays of all the name brand glass (the Illadelph display, which always has some signature/one off pieces, is my personal fave), some nice non-branded/artsy glass, and even some cheap throw away glass if you need something "right now right now". They've also been on top of the vape game since day one. This time I went on a fact finding mission (I was curious about E-cigs) and was provided with all the answers I was looking for. He took the time to explain the basics, describe the differences between what they had, an even told me about some stuff they didn't stock. Did I forget to mention I told him up front I didn't plan on purchasing anything that day? That's non-customer service, imagine how good the customer service is. I've dealt with a few different sales people since they opened and it's always been the same story. So I made myself a liar and bought some stuff. Not E-cig related, but a bunch of Raw rolling accessories. I had been eyeing some stuff online and decided to drop a few bucks locally instead. I'm glad I did. Hard to say exactly how much of a hookup I got, but it was significant, probably ~50% off retail if I had to guess. I also got an Uber grinder for my girl. Dollar for dollar they're hard to beat. Not quite on the Santa Cruz/Cosmic/Etc. level, but not everyone wants to spend $60-70 on a grinder. The Uber stuff works well for less than half the price. read more

I am a regular customer here. I recently purchased a battery pack and an universal cartridge. The battery pack was Mal functioning as well as the cartridge they sold me. The manager told me he couldn't find my transaction in the system. He clearly seen my battery pack was blinking red, white, and green, then he told me the cartridge was bad, but I was already filled with my liquid. So he found the receipt for the cartridge but not the battery pack. So pretty much I wasted my money, time, and gas for nothing. I'm pissed off and I won't be coming back. How can a manager tell you, there's pretty much nothing they can do for selling you defective equipment!!!!!!! read more

Awesome smoke shop! You walk in and you're immediately met with cases upon cases of glass pipes, vapes, e-cigs, e-juice, anything 'n everything to fulfill your smoking and recreational needs. It's a bit intimidating walking into places like this, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and when we mentioned we were looking for glass pipes, a staff member brought us over to the display case and gave us a quick overview of what they had in stock. Again, awesome selection here: varying sizes, colors, and designs, and even quality glass from local vendors in Austin. A friend once advised me that the right pipe will call to you, and we definitely had a few attractive contenders calling our names! The staff member was happy to take them out and let us have a closer look; not once did I feel rushed or pressured into buying anything. Prices were affordable too; we looked at pipes ranging from $10-$40. In the end, it was a win-win situation: we walked out happy with a gorgeous new piece, and Burn Smoke Shop earned itself a couple of returning customers. They can compete with selection but can't compete with customer service. Note, I have been a returning customer for years and never had a problem with a product until now. And the worst part is that they won't even help me in exchanging or getting it repaired. Bad customer service!!! Most places will at least send it off for repair. They just looked at me and said "call the manufacturer". And then they start accusing me of mishandling it, like i use it for other purposes. Wow! Did I mention I bought this a few days ago. I Will never return. There are many smoke shops in Houston that have the products they offer and with better customer service. I would not bother doing business with these guys. I live closer to their second location on Shepherd so I generally find myself going there when I need some new glass. This location is also really great and has a bit more selection than their second location. I also find that the employees/owners are really friendly and helpful. Great place to buy high quality products. I love that they source their glass from local vendors when possible. Most of the stuff in the store is hand blown in the USA, which I appreciate since it supports the artists. read more
