He glanced at his notes, before calling one of his humans whom he brainwashed with a head of Anubis statue, empowered by rubies he had also procured, to make the call on his behalf. With his appointment having been placed, he waited the requisite amount of time, hiding poorly behind a fence, until he could be "right on time" and knock. "And where are Blossom and Buttercup, your Yorkies?" one of the kind employees asked. Mojo JoJo grinned malevolently. The human he had transformed into a dog had remembered the names of his other two archenemies. "I knew it! She was foolish enough to write her name on the facade. Unwise even, I say." He then looked inside and begged their pardon for a moment as he turned to one of the dogs who had just luxuriated in a warm bath with, much to his chagrin, no longer extant bubbles. "Where is Bubbles? I am losing my patience! My patience is ebbing! One might even say waning!" At that point, several of Barks 'N Bubbles's canine clients began to bark in wonder at the oddly-dressed and Machiavellian-sounding chimpanzee; and Mojo JoJo lowered his head and realized he had been had. He saw how happy the dogs looked, dressed in their Halloween-themed bandanas, and how excited they were to be safely reunited with their owners and to be encouraged to pick out a squeaky Halloween-themed toy, and he paused magnanimously. Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

An error did occur in one of our visits, but I won't go into detail because I think what's more important is not what error it was that occurred, but rather the incredible efforts made in response by the business to rectify the issue. Our concerns were listened to and the response was respectful. The owner not only heard our concerns but they were able to show they can be objective in their assessment of the issue. They went above and beyond to make it right. The solutions offered were both incredibly generous and fair. In terms of the quality of the grooming, they made our fur babies look like pristine angels. They smell fantastic too, and their hair looked amazingly glossy and soft. They appear to do great with grooming both small and large dogs (we have both), and they even did great work on our big boy who has hair that's more difficult to work with. In resolving the issue with one of our pups, they blended things perfectly to make the original issue appear more natural and less jarring. The staff there seem to love what they do, have patience, and take pride in their work. They have great humor as well. We will be happy to take our fur babies there again.

It was challenging work for her, because she had to administer an inhaler treatment twice a day to one of the cats, Marlow, despite not having known him before. She did an absolutely wonderful job. He was actually in better shape and coughing less, after we came home than before we left. Both cats looked happy and relaxed. The cat area was left clean and tidy. They were nice taking her up day camp with no notice and seeing that she got a bland broth and rice diet to help. Now her new little sister Cammy (10 months old) a rescue from North Carolina is getting her shots and stuff to clear the way for visits. Everyone from their staff can't wait to meet her. What my wife and I love is that they love our puppies nearly as much as we do. I wanted to say thanks so much for your care and compassion with Max! It made an impossibly hard time a bit easier knowing that he impacted their lives and to know they were sad as well. Our neighbors all trust Mariah-Belle with their dogs too. My dog loves the Day Camp activities. I've also boarded my 11 year old terrier and young Vizsla for long weekends. The staff catered to both their needs of spoiling and medicating my older dog and playing with my young dog. The owner and staff all truly love dogs! It shows in everything they do! You can really tell when your dogs jump out of the car and run to the staff! They truly care! Another reviewer commented on an illness outbreak earlier in the summer. If you take your dog to a park or a kennel, you are taking a risk. My young dog did pick up a virus only once in the last year. It wasn't kennel cough. And my older dog didn't catch the virus. It stunk to see him sick, but we humans pick up various colds from time to time. That said, I've never seen an owner be more diligent in resolving a problem. The staff immediately called to check on my dog. The owner called all the local vets to identify the type of virus and then immediately implemented a specific cleaning regimen to kill that particular virus. I've been kenneling my dogs over the last 25 years at a number of places. I trust Mariah-Belle Manor! My dogs love absolutely love going to Mariah-Belle!

No real issues with boarding, they seem to come back happy and everyone seems nice. My issue was that I agreed to them both being given a bath prior to pickup, which was heavily pushed (I suppose as a way to offset the "second dog boarded for half price" discount). They were given a bath and a nail trim before pickup and as soon as I got in the car, I noticed that my pug was bleeding everywhere -- two nails were cut WAY too short and bled for over an hour. We had to wrap her foot, as it wouldn't stop on it's own. I understand that these things happen on occasion, but no one bothered to mention it to me and I find it hard to believe that that amount of blood wasn't noticed. If they were in a hurry or the dog was too excited, I would have preferred that they forgo the nail trim altogether, as I never even asked for it. So, would recommend for boarding -- not so much for grooming (or nail trimming, at least).
