Hazy IPAs, lagers, stouts, weird-but-delicious seltzers...they do it all, and it's always solid. No sad, flat IPAs here. Oh, they have events. Live music, karaoke (first Friday of the month), and the crown jewel: trivia on Thursdays at 7. I live for trivia, and Nestor--the host--is a legend. Funny, clever, and keeps the rounds fresh with themes, song IDs, picture challenges...your brain will sweat, your team will laugh, and yes, you might feel a little smarter by the end. Or dumber. You choose. The space is cozy. Maybe 35-40 seats inside. It fills fast during events, so don't stroll in fashionably late and expect to sit. Such incredible fun in a business complex off Allen street! I've never been to burning bridge til my friend Adam was playing He's an awesome talented friend of mine and was playing with his band Nebulaen. The space for music is a bit weird, I think it's strange they chose to put the bands in front. It's hard for them to get in and out the single door entrance with the flow of people with their gear, but the back of burning bridge is the brewery so no room there to have anyone it's health code and unsafe to have others back there so I see why they did the front for music performances. I think the music quality for sound board was great but the music shouldn't be so loud, it hurt my ears but thankfully they offered free ear buds by register. The hibiscus seltzer was so good I ordered it three times before I left. Very flavorful. read more

Came here on a weds for a vinyl night, they had good music, and games. Their beer was good but the prize winner for me is the Hibiscus seltzer! They had a good vendor with some good Patatas bravas. The staff were very casual and friendly. This is definitely on my brewery rotation list. read more

Stopped in onna Sunday afternoon. Small, hidden place. Not sure you're at the right place because it is in an industrial place. The burning sign is better visible inside than outside during the day. The barkeep was a nice young gal. I ordered a "I love honey" blonde ale, very honey-ish and light. My guy ordered "A littleTLC"which is an IPA. It had a little bitter at start, out lacked the perfume-y taste of a true IPA. His second beer was a Tropical hazy IPA calked "After the party." Which had nice aromas, light on the bitter start, but a great ending flavor to it, nice beer! No food vendors, they do have chip tho. My 2nd beer, I tried a taste of "Amerika"and "The deadly Rhythm" yeah, NOT a fan.. guess i didn't like the after taste in both.. So I winded up with the "I love honey." See, I tried something different, so still on the hunt for a blonde, nice crispy fresh taste with not so citrusy, but just a good bamm to it!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Burning Bridge Brewery! We've been here a couple of times now, and each visit has been such a great experience. Most recently, we dropped in close to closing time, and the service was still absolutely top-notch. I believe our bartender's name was Karen (hope I got that right!)--she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed. On a previous visit, we were helped by a gentleman who was just as friendly and knowledgeable. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We've even had some great conversations with a couple of regulars--there's such a relaxed, community feel to this place. And of course, the beer is delicious! Every pour we've tried has been on point. Burning Bridge is a charming little brewery that deserves way more foot traffic. Went to a metal show here the past weekend and saw some great bands like Diabology and Evisceration. I guess they have two locations. Don't know about the other one, but I believe it has food. This one only has brews crafted onsite. But they are delicious brewskis. The place is tiny, but staff is friendly and parking in the lot out front is easy. The night of the concert a couple was selling tacos and Mexican fare out front which was all very good. The only disappointment was it seemed that the manager and sound guy decided to go to shows elsewhere that day and left the bands without any sound guy all alone. There were minor sound problems, but considering it was one of the band's friends stepping in last minute with no notice, he did a great job. Still not very professional of the actual sound guy, if it was like the promoter said happened with them being left high and dry without warning. Still, I would highly recommend coming by for an affordable and delicious brew made on the premises. I tried four different ones and they were all great! read more

A beer tender from another brewery recommended this brewery to us and I'm so glad he did! They have a spicy mango seltzer that reminds me of a Mexican lollipop. They rim the glass with chamoy and tajin and it was the perfect treat after a long weekend. My husband tried the hazy ipa and really enjoyed that as well. The beer tender was so nice and let us sample the beers to decide what we wanted. They sell snacks on site, but you can also use Uber eats or DoorDash to order food for delivery. read more

I had an incredible time at Burning Bridge Brewing. I stopped in after a trail run to see what this place was about, since I had never heard of it. There were a few people inside and the place looked clean. There's a big logo right in front so you know where you're at. James was behind the bar, and he really made me feel welcome. I stayed for a couple of pints and tasted some of their other beers. The Double IPA I had was so smooth and held its own at a whopping 9.2%. I tried a hazy for my second beer. I usually try and stay away from hazy's because I kind of just got over the craze, but to be honest, it was really good. Not too sweet. It was dry and refreshing. I also tried a stout that they had on tap and apparently trying to get ride of to make space for a new beer. It was delicious! Came here for the BBQ (vendor was there, they don't have a kitchen) ordered a flight and a few pints. Couldn't help but think these glasses seem small, bartender assured me they were 16oz glasses. My last beer I ordered a stout that came in a 16oz can. I poured it into my empty glass and after I filled it I continued to pour the remaining into a flight glass that she said was 5oz. And almost filled it. Pretty much what I'm saying is they use different glassware to short you and lie to you. They still charge $7.45-9.45 per beer, they just don't give you all you pay for. read more

Good laid back vibes here. We tried quite a few of the beers on tap. I would recommend the KOKUA fundraiser if you want an IPA. It's slightly different everywhere, but the one at this brewery smells really good and flavor is better than the other IPAs on tap currently. I also had the sour Good God, it's the only sour in the menu but it's a good one, I enjoyed two while watching the Chiefs and Bills. If you hate peach I'd still recommend this one because it didn't have a heavy peachness to it. Ask the bartender for a sample, trust me. I'm a bit of a light weight, but when I'm brewery hopping I'm always happy to find sours and Belgium whits on the menu. The Good God is 4.3%, lowest one they currently offer on tap, perfect for me. The menu is small but I can tell the owner (who is pretty friendly and usually around) knows how to build a good array of what's on tap. There's plenty of seating, I'd say this place is great for watching a game, well-priced and honestly the vibes are very down to earth. There's no front here, I love the mural on the wall, it's got a rocker vibe. Catching a game here is great because the TVs a placed well, anywhere you sit it's comfortable viewing. The projector is a nice touch. I hear there's free pizza today, I'll prob be inquiring about that once I finish my second round. The Last Beer: I shared a New Black IPA with the table, we all sipped it and enjoyed it. This is a collab with Burning Bridge and local brewer Ryan Rivas. For a dark beer I really enjoyed this, and to be fair, I always try dark beers but rarely like them. My cousin, a brewer and lover of dark beers, had nothing but good things to say about it. The expectation for these is that they are brewed to avoid the ash taste while achieving smoked flavor. Not an easy task, the recipe is a little more involved, they nailed it with this one. read more

The best thing to happen to the area since Bill and Ted roamed the Waterloo water park! I stumbled into this new brewery during their soft launch. Had a wonderful time and met the owners. I've been here twice and both time the beer has been great, this last time I got the Sho Time and the Bonita. Fantastic beers. Always looking for new breweries to try, I found this brewery when I learned of the sale of the precious brewery at this location. Although you never know how it'll go when a location sells, I wanted to see what this location would bring. I am so glad to have come and given it a try. I came in during the soft opening. Expecting some chaos, I was pleasantly surprised to find all of the employees working their hardest to make sure everyone was receiving the attention they needed to ensure a pleasant drinking experience. They offered 7 beers during this time; a pale ale, Pilsner, ipa, hazy ipa, seltzer, rice lager, michilada (which isn't a new beer since they use their pale ale but is a new variation on the beer). Each one of the drinks satisfied my expectations. True to the style and full of flavor. I throughly enjoyed this brewery and plan to come back regularly. I love to see what they try next. read more
