This food truck came around the rotation for Irvine's residential food truck nights and the walk to this truck was well worth it. The husband and I split the Cubano. That Cubano was super good. The mustard and the pickles were just the right amount of goodness to make the Cubano awesome. They cater to vegans and varying tastes and diets. It might not look like it but they do. Mike made us a grilled veggie salad on a bed of salad. They let us know that we could really customize our orders to the point you create another burger and they're not pricks about it. Mind you, that full-on customization may not work during lunch breaks, but will definitely work for these residential dinner events. I finally got to try it out! I wanted something light and yummy for lunch so I went with a chicken wrap. Believe me, it was the best wrap I have ever had. I enjoyed every bite! The fact that it was a warm wrap made it more flavorful! Jessie was extremely helpful with helping me pick out exactly what I was craving! I will definitely be on the lookout for them and try more things on their menu! Everything looked great!!! I would love to see them come around OC more often! read more

I don't write great reviews - but this truck and everything about the guys behind the wheel, food and service was outstanding. We have no food due to the Irvine power outage. They saw me running from the parking lot and stayed to save us. They have more than great burgers, fries and wraps. I have never seen or eaten their food before. I was overwhelmed with their kindness, great food, smiles and reasonable prices. I couldn't help but share their fries with all my friends and 'everyone' that was in the dog park. I just had the most AMAZING burger from Burning Buns Food Truck... The Fancy Pants!!! it was perfection! The ingredients were super fresh, bun toasted to perfection, bacon crisp and so delicious! Got the carne asada fries. Decent fries. Loved the thick cut fries, cooked right, with the perfect amount of seasoning. Could tell the meat was a bit on th lower quality because I got a few pieces of cartilage. But the meat was well cooked and seasoned well. I overall enjoyed the food. One of the best food truck burgers and fries I have had yet, and we have food trucks twice a month at work (don't judge me for eating out so much). I got the very basic burger and fries, I'm not a risk taker, and it was delicious! The thousand island isn't just a normal thousand island it has its own flavor, the only topping I asked for was pickles so I cannot comment on how fresh the produce is but the pickles were amazing. Their fries are thick and seasoned with just enough seasoning salt. Customer service was great, very friendly, jokey and used my name a few times throughout the order process which made it feel more familiar. I don't leave reviews very often, but this truck is worth it. I am definitely hoping they return to our building next time as well! read more

We have "Food Truck Friday" and I usually am not impressed with the selections.. BUT this was the first time I tried this place, and I LOVED it. I went into it thinking I really want a good burger, so I got a protein style, bacon cheeseburger, and it was PERFECT. It was like a Burger salad, the greens were fancy and it was just the right amount of beef/lettuce ratio. Reminded me of home-made burgers. If I were eating bread, I would love the bun-- but I don't feel like I missed out because it was still yummy. read more
