I had a great conversation with Madison about their various espresso drinks and we settled on one. I was very pleased, the lady in the drive-thru told me she's the Regional Manager and was familiar with my request. These folks are real nice and know what they're doing. I highly recommend this place BUT don't try it on Sunday morning. They are in the same location as Transformation Church so the traffic is more than intense. read more

I absolutely love this drive through coffee shop! The Candy Cane White Mocha is absolutely delicious and might honestly be the best iced coffee drink I've ever had. We always stop by and get one on our way to the new Costco, what a treat! I love that it's a small business and I love that it's a drive through. The girls working here are fantastic and the line moves fast. There is also a walk up window with outdoor seating if you want to hang out on a nice day. Today I ordered a London fog iced latte and I asked for it to be sugar-free bc I am type 1 diabetic. She was so kind and said absolutely and then said to the barista "make sure it's sugar free bc she's diabetic." And the barista said "ok, I will." I have enjoyed their coffee and still do. My comment is specifically for the Indian Land location. I understand being friendly and chatting with customers, giving that neighborly feel which is completely fine. The issue is when a line starts to form and the person has received their order and yet a personal conversation continues. This has happened more than once. One time the young lady working apologized and said "he usually doesn't talk that long". There is a polite way to end a conversation so that others can be serviced. They can say "well it was nice speaking with you, hope you have good rest of your day" or "looks like a line is forming, it was nice catching up". This last time, the person behind me ended up leaving and honestly don't blame them. It was around the time school was letting out so who knows, they may have been swinging by before picking up. I don't know their situation but I do know, I enjoy your coffee and the friendliness, the chatting can be limited, again once a line starts to form. read more

She was open and ready to help customers, while rearranging inventory to keep them from the flooding water that was inundating the barista booth. Delicious coffee drinks! I am so happy I stopped at Burr & Berry for a refreshing iced coffee. I was running an errand and saw the sign. They are a small business and they make incredible coffee. I tried the turtle mocha iced coffee. It was a sweet and chocolate full coffee with caramel notes. They are priced similar to starbucks at $5 but I felt happy helping a small local business. They have drive through service from your car. I went on a Saturday and they had a line but it moved quickly. They're located near Indian Land. Hope to visit soon! read more

I was prepared this return visit and had visited their Instagram page for some wonderful recommendations. I got the Bees Knees hot. It was delicious! I typically drink my coffee black but hey 'when not at home.' I like how they support other local businesses on Saturdays with various baked goods whether Pepperbox doughnuts or Baked Well Cinnamon Rolls. My only issue is I didn't return soon enough! Always check out a place twice is my mantra Also, Jason had reached out my last visit to see how things could be better. In town visiting my sister, and we just returned from a little caffeine adventure out to this cute little place in Marvin. I got the honey lavender iced latte, and she got the iced mocha. Let me just go ahead and say it - Burr & Berry is SO worth the visit. This is exceptional coffee. Friendly staff, cute little walk up window, outdoor seating, and a drive through. We waited too long to visit - what a lovely little place.... super friendly and smiling, amazing how that can make ones day. Especially when they're handing you coffee they feature local bakeries on rotation and we are so glad we hit a fabulous donut day - we regret not having ventured here sooner and we'll definitely make it a priority stop from now on. My husband and I were looking for a great coffee spot that we can treat ourselves with on the weekends. Found this little gem and knew we had to check it out. I am absolutely obsessed. I got a Medium Iced Bees Knees. The flavor was out of this world. I had first considered a small, but went with medium instead. It's so big (NOT a complaint). I think I can order the small next time and be fine. Just the right amount of ice so you really have lots of latte to enjoy. My husband got the Carolina Blonde. We each tried each others' and WOW. Great little shop. I drove up without any issues. I ordered a vanilla milkshake with a little bit of chocolate. I didn't wait long at all for my milkshake. Overall, the milkshake had a good flavor but it was very icy/crunchy if that makes sense. There was a lot of ice in it that wasn't broken up and it was hard to drink out of the straw. i was just stopping through this area right outside of CLT and i needed a good cup to get me through a 7 hour drive down to South Florida, and Burr and Berry just happened to be about 3 miles down the road on the way for me, so i decided to stop by and grab an iced americano and a latte just to start the trip right. The shop is a drive thru which i thought was pretty cool, and their menu is tailored to that style of drink making. Pretty efficient and quick drinks, not too many frills, and yet a great selection of drinks for anyone from strong java drinkers to those of us who like the occasional frothy coffee treat. i tried the Bees Knees, and it was a pretty balanced latte in terms of structure--correct amount of espresso and milk, frothy but not too light, and a good mix of flavors that complimented the espresso taste, but in my opinion, did not really come through the mix as much as i would have liked. It made for a good drink though, and a much needed break from the strength of the medium iced americano, which was also very well made and gave me the jolt i needed to start the drive. The staff was also super friendly and topped each drink with a chocolate-covered espresso bean, which i thought was a nice touch. All in all, if i lived in the area, you could definitely find me pulling through Burr and Berry for a quick coffee or coffee-esque treat! Would recommend! read more

This little cute hut of a coffee shop blew me away. I randomly saw this hut driving by the highway, but I wasn't sure it was. After searching for some coffee stops this business came up. I have wanted to try it for the past week since searching it and finally took the time to stop by. Well, I'm so glad I did because it's THE BEST COFFEE EVER. You can smell the fresh coffee through you car as soon as you enter the parking lot. The shop has a drive-thru or a walk up window. They have a couple of chairs outside the hut to sit and drink your coffee, which follow the COVID guidelines. I decided to check out the window to look at the menu since I wasn't too sure of what they had. I forgot to take a picture of their menu, so I will do so next time. As I pulled up the window they ladies inside were working their butts off operating the drive-thru with over ten cars in life and the window with seven customers. Although they were very busy, they still had a great smile and were still friendly! ANOTHER HUGE plus in my end. When it's busy in any business, it can be a bit over whelming at times, but they had it under control, still patient and kind. I ordered a Chai Latte with Oat Milk. They offer dairy-free options for milk which always wins a huge plus in my end. If not, I'd typically order just black coffee at a place that didn't offer dairy-free options. I also order their "daily pastry." It's different options of pasties/flavors they offer, so be sure to ask. But you MUST to order it as well! They had filled croissants options and I choose the raspberry filled croissant! It was so fresh, soft and tasty. It was almost like a Krispy Kreme donut cross, BUT WAY BETTER. to be honest; I wish I order five more. But that means I'll just have to come back. THANK YOU LADIES working on Saturday. It's a hidden gem in my eyes and if you're not familiar with the area, you most likely wouldn't know about it. & if this shop was in a different plaza it would be 100x busier, so I'm thankful of its location. We have been going here for years, and have always had a great experience. The only reason I've held out on this review and shouting from the rooftops about Burr & Berry is because I (selfishly) want to keep it to myself! But for real, the baristas are always kind, they always get my order right, and you can literally taste the difference in their coffee versus bigger franchises. I've loved watching this company grow and open their second location and it just feels so special to have such a great local business to support. Even when there is line at the drive thru (I mean, who's surprised when the coffee's this good?) they are always quick without making you feel rushed. Whenever we host people from out of town, we love to bring them here and it always impresses haha. A literal gem of a coffee place -- and somewhere I am happy to spend my money! read more
