    Matcha and iced latte
    Roicia B.

Stumbled across this gem after an appointment. I ordered a honey lavender matcha and my husband an iced latte. He expressed that the espresso was very good and my matcha was a vibrant green, very tasty and earthy which I love; high quality matcha. I asked to fill up my Stanley water cup and without hesitation and joy, they did that for me and with a smile! The hospitality and customer service will bring me back to this quiet and quaint coffee shop!

My grandparents come here every day! When we visit we always come here. The food is super yummy. They mostly have pastries but they have a few sandwiches. The tea is super good. I love the hibiscus tea. the workers are super nice and friendly. The place overall is clean and well kept. I love all the decor!! Definitely go here

The coffee is great-- coming from a quasi-coffee snob. I've experimented with different flavors too and I haven't tried any that I haven't liked! The ambiance is super cute too :) it's a good space for both work and leisure. Also, there is a small room for children to play in... equipped with books and toys. My 1.5 loves it here.. and I do too!

We are on the road to Tennessee and we loved this spot! The drip was amazing! I loved that the inside feels warm and welcoming the couch area is perfect spot for a coffee, and a book on a Sunday! The service was great! The chicken salad croissant was delicious!

Such a cute little coffee shop! Our friends brought us here while we were visiting the area. Very delicious coffee in a neat building! I ordered a cappuccino with vanilla coconut syrup. So good! I also ordered a cardamom cake. It had a great flavor but was a little dry. I think it would be better heated up. Overall a great experience and I will for sure come back.

    Latte 12oz, Latte Art!!!!!

So, I recently visited The Humble Cup Coffee House in Fort Mill, SC, and let me tell you, it was an amazing experience! The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and of course, the delicious coffee made it a must-visit spot. First and foremost, the vibe in the cafe is unmatched for a great reason, in which this place really does represent a true coffee house with plenty of comfy seating and a focal point on the espresso machine and service counter. Humble Cup has a big seating area with table and chairs and also has a kids area with toys for them to play with when you have your coffee!! Coming to the actual drink now which was a 12oz Latte for sit down (They do sit down service here!) which gave me a chance to really see there skills without a lid covering over it. The latte itself was perfectly balanced with a silky milk texture topped with perfect latte Art that really crowned the top of this drink. The flavor of this is unmatched to many of the cafes around here because the baristas really do have a driving passion for their craft and does show! To wrap up this review, Humble Cup has been a true experience that really lived up to my expectations to a cafe in Charlotte. I recommend this place to everyone!!!

The beautiful art continued to impress us and it was decorated beautifully. What was disappointing is we weren't greeted upon walking in, we weren't even acknowledged when we went to the counter by the barista. She seemed annoyed we were there, interrupting her convo with her friends at the bar area. I asked what her favorite drink was from the menu and she sort of just looked at me like I was crazy and answered me like I was boring her. I ordered a chai latte since she said it was her fave, I got it iced. It was good. My mom got an iced London fog, it just tasted like milk with ice. So she added honey and cinnamon and it did help it out a bit. Overall, the place itself was pretty and interesting, I'm hoping maybe it was just an off day for the barista working yesterday, and we hope other customers are treated in a nicer way in the future. It was just really strange behavior, like we were bothering her by coming in. Glad we tried it though and gave it a chance.

The last few times the coffee tasted burnt - okay, I can give them the benefit of the doubt they were just having a bad day. The bragles started tasting more microwaved, thrown inside a horrible tinfoil wrap so it's soggy and chewy and boiling hot. This last visit sealed the deal - I'll never go back and I hope you consider your options before going. My husband went to pick us up 2 large coffees with oatmilk (I have a dairy intolerance and whole milk KILLS me, I'm also breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter who has a dairy intolerance as well) and a turkey havarti bragle. It was $25!!!! I have 1/4 of my coffee and a few bites of bagel before I can tell something isn't right. The coffee was definitely made with whole milk, but even more than that I was VIOLENTLY ill. My husband calls the store to talk with a manager about the coffee being made wrong. They said "sorry, there's not a manager here, we can't tell if the coffee was made with whole milk or oatmilk because we all collectively make the coffees together so there's no way to tell, come back tomorrow to get a new coffee" I spent the day in the bathroom - again with a newborn and 2 toddlers who need their mom at 100%. I call the next day hoping to speak to a manager, I get the same "there's no manager on duty" I told them I thought I had food poisoning and wanted a refund and to speak with someone. The kid suggested I go to "biggby dot com and fill out a complaint because that would be quicker". I told him I'd prefer he write down my information because I'm a mom of 3 and I have food poisoning - I don't need to hunt down an email to speak to someone about getting a refund. (Hindsight he never shared my information because I never got a call) I ended up going online to fill out a complaint. Got the full run around, the owner reached out and apologized - asking questions about the visit and then radio silence for 5 days. I reached back out appalled it had taken almost a week to hear back. The owner got an attitude - saying they had a family emergency and they would refund me. TLDR: go literally anywhere else for coffee, you'll save money and you won't get the wrong type of milk in your coffee.

The issue is when a line starts to form and the person has received their order and yet a personal conversation continues. This has happened more than once. One time the young lady working apologized and said "he usually doesn't talk that long". There is a polite way to end a conversation so that others can be serviced. They can say "well it was nice speaking with you, hope you have good rest of your day" or "looks like a line is forming, it was nice catching up". This last time, the person behind me ended up leaving and honestly don't blame them. It was around the time school was letting out so who knows, they may have been swinging by before picking up.
