This is a follow up review and I lived in SC for a short time, but this location was one of my favorite spots, so now I can give it 5 stars. The staff is over the top friendly (in a good way), more important, the owner is around a lot, taking care of business, sort of speak. Everyone makes you feel at home, lots of seating, clean, clean, clean restrooms, a huge communal table, open later than the average cafe, at least this type of cafe AND let's not forget the drive-thru. The menu is very large for cafe fare, so there's something for everyone. You'll see many "regulars" here because this Sweetwaters is pretty special. Even the regulars know other regulars. It's a cool laid back kinda vibe, to study, meet up, read and relax. If I still lived there, I'd be a regular, too. Check out this location....you'll soon be a regular too. read more

I've been here a few times, and every time it just gets better! The service is stellar and reminds me of how things used to be where people who worked at coffee shops and cafes actually care about their customers! The girl who took our order was attentive and helpful. She was cheerful and offered suggestions for us. The coffee itself was amazing (no lie!) and was absilutely delicious. The atmosphere is very calm and inviting. While enjoying our coffee, the same girl was wiping down tables and cleaning up, which showed me they care about the place they work at. Lots of great coffee and tea selections as well as breakfast sandwiches (available all day) and treats. After experiencing a Yelp event earlier this week, I was in the neighborhood and happy to support this business. The manager Patrick recognized me when I walked in and asked my name again and I enjoyed my chai latte with oat milk and a pump of vanilla. They already have their fall flavors available too. I love the artwork throughout the space and they offer a printer if you need that, which is so convenient for this #millenial. read more

Really cute meetup spot for a cup of Joe. I had the French Vietnamese au lait and it was tasty. I was concerned that the sweet condensed milk would make it too sweet because I'm a black coffee drinker but it was perfect. I didn't get a pastry or breakfast sandwich today but they looked really good and I will try them next time. read more

Stopped in at Sweetwaters to grab a beverage and kill some time. Super relaxed environment and friendly staff. It also helped that it wasn't prime time morning when I'm sure there's a huge rush for caffeine. There's a drive thru, but I wanted to come in because I've never been here and also did not know what to order. The menu is pretty extensive and I'm sure you can get whatever you want but I tried their Imperial Iced Tea. Lots of artwork adorn the walls here and there are plenty of tables. It would be super crowded in here if all the tables were occupied but it's great they have a large work table for spreading out for meetings and study groups. Lots of natural light as the shop sits on the end of shopping center next to WhichWich and the Atrium Urgent Care. (Moes at the other end of the building). Just discovered this place and I love it. The cafe is quite large with lots of seating, not too close together, a community table, and comfy arm chairs, too. There's art on the walls and the ambiance is family like and cozy. The barista's notice their "regulars" and there's quite a few of them. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I'll be a regular soon because I like reading and writing at this place. The owner is around a lot. I like that, too. They have two CLEAN restrooms...(thanks!) There is a huge selection of eats that you can check out before you order your drinks. The coffee is grand. As an x-cafe owner, I'm a coffee aficionado; I know good coffee. They make a mean Breve. Great little coffee shop in Indian Land. They are so accommodating and friendly. I asked for a low fat, low sugar drink and the barista (Julia) whipped up a delicious almond milk vanilla iced coffee drink that was so yummy. Quiet low key place located in Redstone that would be a good spot for studying, getting out if that home office or just meeting up with friends for conversation. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, along with a knowledgeable staff that took the time to explain the menu and provide personal recommendations to this first timer, which is always a nice touch. Variety of background music plays over the speakers, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. Plenty of seating and a nice selection of coffee, tea, frozen drinks, lemonades, etc with something fit everyone. I've been coming here every single day for about a week straight! This is my new go to coffee shop. I've tried so many different options and none of it had let me down so far. The shop is cute, decent size very clean and the employees practice all COVID guidelines. They even have a drive-thru, which was convenient for the days I didn't want to get out of my pajamas. The staff is beyond friendly and they are always working and helping each other out. They are patient with the customers and seem to love their job, which is why I also like coming here; it is a great vibe. If you're not sure what you should get, they always give great recommendations, especially when it was my first time here I was unsure. Quaint little coffee shop in Indian Land, SC. I have been to this coffee shop twice now. I would say their pastries are better than the drinks. I have ordered 2 drinks here. The Vietnamese Latte and the Caramel Ice Dragon. The Vietnamese Latte is different. Has a strong coffee taste. And the Caramel Ice Dragon is essentially like a Starbucks Frappe. Again, the drinks were just so so. The pastries/desserts are where it's at!! Very impressive selection. They also have macaroons. Overall I like this spot! Sweateaters used to be apart of my weekly route. Then they jacked up their prices a considerable amount. Heading to Starbucks.

I wanted to stop by sweetwaters for a nice cup of hot tea since it was cold outside. Overall, the atmosphere and interior of the store was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The menu had a lot of variety and I decided to order the Emerald Matcha Blend which is one of their premium teas. I was expecting a fully brewed tea from the pot and so I was a little disssapointed when I realized the matcha blend was from a teabag + water especially for the price. I know that sweetwaters is a chain and isn't locally owned so it follows a certain menu and preparation procedure so it isn't this specific location to blame, but I think it would be a lot tastier and more worth to have freshly brewed tea than one from a teabag. Overall, I would love to come back and try more from their menu, this location a seems like a very nice place to study in and their staff was friendly. read more
