We used to live in Waxhaw and miss the Crossroads, so we stop back when visiting family The expresso shake is amazing - and very rich

This coffee shop is set up in an old home in Waxhaw. You walk in and instantly smell fresh ground coffee. They have a large menu of options ranging from coffee and lattes to milkshakes. They also offer some bagels and other baked goods. Baristas were quick to take our order and get the order out to us. Coffee was OK but not as flavorful as it smells. There is a porch you can sit and enjoy your beverage during nice weather but also a few tables when you walk in. There is also an upstairs if you feel so inclined to find more seating. The parking lot next store had plenty of parking, and there are a few spots right in front of the building as well.

Been her a couple of times, I am not a coffee drinker at all. Asked for a recommendation and was made concoction of the baristas own doing. It tasted just like coffee (it wasn't bad) I cannot fairly give a review on the coffee itself because I have no experience with it, however the place itself is very welcoming and full of cute decor. Staff if very friendly and you can tell they have plenty of regulars. They sell plenty of their own brews and raw beans, something worth trying.

Love this little, local coffee shop. They have so many great latte options that I chose to try two different ones. The autumn leaves was just what I was wanting with flavors of maple, butter pecan and caramel. I love a Heath candy bar and the iced latte tastes a lot like one. I ordered both drinks less sweet and both were perfect! Friendly employees who truly care about their customers.

Easy-peasy, laid back coffee shop right along the main drag. Parking is a breeze and so is ordering up your favorite java fix. I've stopped in a couple times midday and found the staff friendly, the coffee perfectly prepared, and the munchies fresh. Everything is reasonably priced. Cool. This is my kinda coffee house. No problem getting my "Give 'em a whirl" meter just a percolating. What's not to like? Sip here.

    Cute little seating area!

First the good news - this little place is as cute a space as it can be, with a fun little casual seating area, and a great country store vibe. The two young ladies were knowledgeable and helpful with our questions, and someone obviously takes great pride in DIY coffee bean roasting, as there was a vast selection of whole bean blends. So all that gets 5 stars. But the surprise was how weak and diluted my lavender latte tasted, even with an extra shot. I was pumped for a bold espresso, home-roasted experience, and was disappointed. So only 3 stars for the coffee. But I'd go back to try a bolder blend. This is a fun spot.

Such a cute little coffee shop. When I'm in Waxhaw or riding through I frequently stop here. They have a good number of coffee flavor options with around 6-8 seasonal specials at a time. The use only Torani syrups and have a ton to choose from. The building has a lot of personality too, and is usually quiet so would be a great place to work during the day. Parking lot is decent sized as well.

I've never had a bad experience here. It's always warm, fun, and welcoming. The kids that work here are Waxhaw gems and the coffee is GOOD.

This a great local coffee shop. They have several types of beans to try. They made me an awesome pour over from their fresh roast. So good!

It is not a question. We got a few things: bagel bomb, cinnamon roll, brown sugar cookie, and donut. My only regret was not getting more things, like the amazing looking croissants. Bagel bomb was actually unreal. An everything bagel stuffed with an incredible shallot cream cheese. It was one of the best bfast items I have ever had. The cinnamon roll was insanely good. So soft, so moist, so delicious. The cookie was perfect. Texture was perfect, flavor was delicious. And the donut(how they did this I don't know) was also incredible. Better donut than most donut shops I've been to. One of the fluffiest, most perfectly textured donuts I've had. This place, simply put, is one of the best bakeries I've been to. The people were also incredibly nice. Please run.. don't walk.. to try this place! You will not be disappointed. Thanks!

The cruffin was delicious and well worth the calories - local family-owned business Cons: - it would be helpful to have signs and prices for the items. I imagine it would speed things up if the staff didn't have to answer those sorts of questions repeatedly. - the staff were helpful but not very warm. - the matcha latte was the worst I've had in recent memory. Watered down and bitter. Not sure if the person making it messed it up or their matcha quality is poor, but it was a waste of $6. Overall, I feel lucky we live close by and look forward to visiting again.
