I went in the drive thru, I had ask the lady that took out order to give us a minute so we could look at the menu, we responded with an attitude then after the order going to pay I had asked her about the sauce that they offer because she never asked us about the sauces, she had an attitude the entire time. just a bad experience. This is my daughter's favorite restaurant and today I discovered why. She had one steak taco and one Carnita. My other daughter had an El Pastor torta. I had a chicken enchilada mole. We all shared the FRESH churros after courtesy of our server and OMG! Do not skip on those. I came here thinking it was another Mexican fast food joint but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a few notches nicer with higher quality food. When you walk in, you order at the counter before finding a table. They brought chips and salsa to the table with our meal arriving shortly afterwards. The food at this location is always great. I got the Al pastor tacos with onions and cilantro on flour tortillas. There tortillas are made in house. They are a bit pricy but they always load up the meat so it makes it worth it. When you done in you do get free chips and salsa which is a plus. The service is always quick and professional. This is the second one of the chain we visited. The first one was in West Chicago in a former Wendy's. This restaurant is a repurposed restaurant also. My hats to the owners of the chain as they repurpose old fast food restaurants with good Mexican food prepared quickly. This time my wife and I shared a chicken burrito since you receive so much food for the dollar. We ordereed the challupas for dessert. I finally had the opportunity to try this restaurant and was not disappointed. Prices are reasonable, service is fast (I did takeout) and the food is excellent. I had the carnitas burrito and pork was juicy and tender. We also had the guacamole and chips. My wife loves guacamole and thought theirs was excellent. My wife and I are always looking for something new especially in these stressed times. You can only do hamburgers so many different ways. Using Yelp we see Burrito Parrilla Mexicana and its 4 stars. I had the Burrito Al Pastor. The meat was the second best, the best was a small restaurant in Baltimore who's cook and co-owner was from Mexico and she made her own meat, but get there before dinner because she usually sold out. The burrito had just enough lettuce that it did not cool the meat or over power it. They also give you a good amount of frijoles and rice, both above average. Everyone seemed to be. We had complimentary chips and salsa delivered to our table right away but we had to ask for More chips for our HUGE bowl of homemade guacamole which was delicious. Yet another excellent Mexican restaurant in Batavia! For my inaugural meal at BPA, I went the drive-thru route, but hope to dine-in soon. I kept it simple with an Al Pastor burrito, accompanied by a steak taco with grilled onions and cilantro. The burrito was your authentic football-sized meat fest, with cheese and lettuce, and sliced avocado, per my request. I was impressed by the even distribution of ingredients, meaning that I got a bite of meat, cheese, lettuce and avocado in the first bite, as well as the last. The taco was just as impressive. The steak actually tasted like an expensive cut of meat, fresh off the grill...no gristle, no fat. Just excellent. Also, a big thumbs up on the selection and quantity of hot sauce provided. For my order of two burritos and two tacos, 8 containers of sauce were provided, made up of 4 varieties at different heat levels and flavor profiles. I've wanted to try this place since it opened and finally stopped by. I didn't have high expectations until I saw the reviews on Yelp, I couldn't believe it was the highest ranked Mexican food in the area. I have to say, I don't know how it got such high ratings to be honest. The restaurant was clean on the inside and felt brand new. I went through the drive through for the food and was shocked at the price. $30 for dinner for two. At first I was completely drawn back but it's really not that bad if you compare it to a sit down Mexican restaurant so pricing really isn't too bad. Over $3 for a taco is pricey if you compare it to all the incredible taco places in Aurora but I guess this location is in a higher cost area and need to account for that. At first I felt taken advantage of but it's really not bad prices. Food was pretty good and came in nice, sturdy containers. There are better tacos in Aurora at better prices so I don't know if I'll be back or not. If I do, I'll definitely eat in the restaurant. read more

The food here use to be very good however today we visited and the tacos were disgusting. They had extra grease in them, the tacos were falling apart and just nasty. Excellent fast Mexican food. I'm here at least once a week. Food is consistently good, and my son loves the Horchata that comes with the kids meal. It seems a little pricey for drive through meals, but I still go weekly so... Only suggestions: - Consider asking if folks want salsa's. We always have a bag full of endless salsa's we don't use. Seems wasteful. - Open on Sundays! That's crazy to be closed. Yes people need days off. This is one of our regular places for carryout. Delicious food and generous portions. Some of our household favorites are quesadillas (both chicken and steak & they come with sour cream and guac on the side), steak burrito, chicken nachos, guacamole, and the grilled chicken salad. Every now and then we mix it up and get carnitas, chicken tacos, and chicken or veggie fajitas. We prefer the tacos Mexican style-on corn tortillas w/cilantro and onion, but you can also order on flour w/lettuce, cheese, tomato... Rice is decent, and if you like frijoles, both the black and refried beans are vegetarian and full of flavor! Red and Green salsa typically come with the fast food orders. The red is very mild, but has a really good flavor. Something about the green salsa, or salsa Verde, just doesn't look appealing to me, but it tastes pretty decent & has a little kick to it. I especially enjoy it with the chicken tacos. If you'd like habanero or avocado salsa, you will have to request it w/your carryout order. Both are pretty tasty. Although green, the avocado salsa has a lighter appearance, fresh taste, and that bright citrus taste from the lime comes through. Food is packed in durable containers, the kind you can put in the dishwasher, and use again and again. You get good food and some high quality Mexican Tupperware. A Win-Win! We eat there so much, my husband gets annoyed that I keep saving it, but it makes perfect to go containers when we entertain. I'm really not a huge fan of their plain tortilla chips, but when paired with the salsa, guac, and/or nacho toppings, I don't mind them at all. In fact, I like how they stay crunchy and stand up to all the nacho toppings without breaking. On what to improve- I wish they had a larger cup option for soft drinks, and I wish the drive thru line wasn't so long...LOL! Actually, orders come out pretty quickly, and I go there so often, that I should know when to order ahead. I'm definitely happy that this business is doing well, as it delivers on quality and convenience. The one time I dined in, the restaurant was clean and service was friendly. Definitely a casual dining place with a drive-thru, but think of it as good food fast, instead of fast food. Nothing close to Taco Bell, which happens to be right next door. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy me some TB every now and then, especially for a late night drive thru, but Burrito Parrilla Mexicana is so much more than fast food. I came here at 20:14hrs and the cooks were already cleaning, which is fine but when they saw there was an order they went over to start doing it and they didn't change they're gloves, that's so unhygienic. They were touching chemicals and then they went and touched someone's food. I was so grossed out when I saw that, so I ended up not ordering. The management needs to be more careful that the staff is following the proper hygiene standards. I hope the management sees this review, the time was 20:14 hrs and the date was 08/25/22, if you could please review your cameras to see how the cooks were handling the food. This is a safety violation and they could get a huge citation by the health department. This is how diseases spread, and how food borne illnesses are created. I urge this restaurant for the safety of everyone to please bring this to attention of the staff and that hygiene is of upmost importance. read more

The Guacamole is freshly made and well balanced. It was joined by a generous portion of freshly made still hot tortilla chips. My wife thoroughly enjoyed their chorizo torta. The large roll held up under the full load of well spiced Mexican sausage served with monterey jack cheese, lettuce, avocado, pinto beans, mayonnaise. I tried the mixed fajitas. Even though it isn't on the drive thru's menu, I selected the steak and vegetable (yellow squash, zucchini & red peppers) fajitas accompanied by rice, choice of beans, pico de gallo, sour cream & guacamole plus a generous serving of either soft corn or wheat tortillas. My only trivial complaint is that the small tortillas couldn't accommodate the well balanced mix of items I enjoy together - please consider using a little bigger tortillas with the fajitas. The fajitas vegetable mix of onion and green peppers were tasty and complemented the mix of steak and grilled veggies that I had selected. Everything was seasoned very nicely, prepared superbly, and packaged properly (even staying hot for the drive home). Keep up the good work. Someone who eats at another one of their locations was raving about this place, so we gave it a try. It was mediocre. They did a good job renovating the inside of the old White Castle. The staff was blah when we walked in. I thought it was overpriced for Mexican takeout. For two burritos and a chicken quesadilla, it was just over $30. If it was excellent, maybe. It was just mediocre, nothing to write home about. No one in our household was impressed at all. Doubt we will return because there are better options nearby. read more
