One of the best Mexican food around. Reminds me of south valley abq New Mexico or Houston taco trucks.

It soured me on the place, so I just stopped going. But recently, a coworker suggested we get lunch there, and I figured it had been long enough to try it again. I'm really happy I did. The vibe is great, sort of a sports bar feel but with a Mexican twist, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I got the Reunion Combo, and it was a ton of food. It had a chicken tamale and a crispy relleno covered in this really tasty pork green chile, a red chile cheese enchilada, and a ground beef crispy taco. Everything was delicious, and the plate was huge. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for with the meal. The only thing I didn't like was the $4 ice tea. It kind of feels like a cheap way to make the bill bigger at the end, but honestly, the food and the better service made it worth it. I'm glad to have this spot back on my list for lunch in Commerce City.

This is not a gourmet spot, but it sure hits the spot. After power shopping at Sam's and Costco all…read morein one day, my boyfriend and I decided to deviate from the dinner plan and go out to eat. I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

Moonlight Diner 3.5/10…read more Second time at this nice Little diner stop by tower and happy that they are open bright and early and close at 9! Stopped by and we were seated right away and place was clean and the diner was pretty simple than the other ones ive been too so far :). Menu offered a whole variety of breakfast classics as well as burgers/handhelds and milkshakes which ive still yet to tried. Decaf coffee was good, I could drink it multiple times, will definetely order next time. Sweet Potato fries were really delicious and the steak flavor was okay, but atleast it was still tender/cooked perfectly, just wished it punch more but not bad. Mash potato was pretty disappointing. Patty melt was perfect and fries that came with it were perfect. HUGE PORTION TOO!! Ive also ordered a side of Mac which was also reallyyyy good. Service was fast and we were checked on plenty of times and the lady was nice. .. Pretty simple, nothing really over the top, but otherwise satisfied belly and will come back if craving more

The seating was quick and even though we had 7 people, including our granddaughter, we were seated without waiting and it was right around noon. Service was quick and efficient. A Denver Gem: State House (Commerce City) If you find…read moreyourself near the northern edge of Denver, State House in Commerce City is an absolute must-visit. It has that perfect "rustic-chic" Colorado vibe--warm, wood-accented, and welcoming--making it just as good for a casual lunch as it is for a weekend dinner. The Burger Battle * Bison Burger: This was the star of the show. It's lean but incredibly juicy, with a deep, rich flavor that puts standard beef to shame. * Pro Tip: Pairing it with the tomato bisque instead of fries was a game-changer. The soup was creamy, vibrant, and had a slight sweetness that cut through the richness of the bison perfectly. * Pub Burger: A classic done right. Two patties, perfectly seared, with a side dijonnaise that adds just the right amount of kick. It's everything a pub burger should be--messy in the best way possible. The side garden salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp, providing a nice light balance to the heavy-hitter burger. The Atmosphere & Service The space is beautiful--modern design meets local charm. We were particularly impressed by the service; the staff was attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they take pride in the locally sourced ingredients they're serving. The Verdict Whether you're a fan of wild game like the bison or you just want a solid, high-quality cheeseburger, State House hits the mark. It's rare to find a place where the "side" soup is just as memorable as the main course, but that tomato bisque is worth the trip alone. I'll definitely be back for another round of that bison burger!
