I cant recall what Mary ordered but these were the items I ordered this afternoon : First Round : 1 Cabesa Taco 1 Lengua Taco Second Round : 1 Carne Asada (Steak) Taco 1 Tripa Taco I decide to order them separately coz I prefer to eat my Tacos hot, hence Round 1 and Round 2 respectively. Each Round Order cost me with tax $3.58 respectively. My total lunch cost was $7.16. The walk was easy, and when we arrived, the packed parking lot immediately told me this was the right place to stop. This is authentic tacos de guisado style, similar in concept to places like Tacos West Ave in Texas, but the execution here is on another level. They offer a wide variety of options including suadero, lengua, al pastor, cabeza, chorizo, tripa, along with tortas and quesadillas. I ordered the tripas, which can be hard to find done correctly. These were easily the best tripas I've ever had. They were extremely flavorful and tender. I usually prefer them crispy, but after seeing how busy the place was, I trusted their preparation -- and it paid off. Each order comes with four mini tacos, and I could have easily eaten more. Even the corn tortillas stood out. They had noticeable flavor, likely from being cooked on a well-seasoned plancha or possibly dipped in the guisado juices before grilling. The salsa was generous and full of flavor, and everything tasted like it was made with care and attention. This place reminded me of one of my favorite spots in San Antonio, Mini Tacos Toribios. While the style is different, the same level of passion and quality is there. At $13.99, the price is fair for the portion and quality. I would gladly pay it again. Next time I'll be ordering multiple taco plates along with a torta and a Mexican Coke. This is a 10/10 spot. I wouldn't change anything. I'll make it a point to stop here every time I'm in Denver.
