I pulled up to that food truck in the hotel parking lot for a carne asada breakfast burrito and nearly blew my load right there in the driver's seat. The first bite was so insanely good I couldn't help myself charred meat so tender it was obscene, potatoes crispy as fugg, eggs rich and creamy, all of it working together like it was specifically engineered to make me lose my mind. By the third bite I'm gripping the wheel with white knuckles, breathing hard, my rock straining against my jeans like it's trying to escape. Had to sit there for ten minutes with the windows down trying not to fugging come in public like some degenerate. Already planning to go back tomorrow and honestly might just lock myself in the room this time. read more

Finally tried this place out. It's now located over by Camp Hotel. All burritos are breakfast burritos and I went with the Hog. I thought it was good, slightly overpriced for me though. I wasn't really a fan of the bacon and thought it could've been cooked a little longer. The people running it are super friendly though. If I'm really craving a breakfast burrito again I may go back to try another one of their offerings. read more

My son who lives in Bend always raves about all the local food trucks, we were staying locally so I looked up Breakfast Burritos and this was closest to us. Now, Google Maps will steer you 3 ways to Sunday getting here, just find street parking around 2nd&Greeley and walk in, its in a sectioned off area of a motel parking lot so no immediate parking. I got the 'Plain' burrito (anything but plain!) and my son had the Chorizo. Both were huge! Soft, warm and yummy. The Plain was nicely spicey too, the veggies tasty. My sons Chorizo, tho, while he said it tasted great, the Chorizo grease quickly soaked thru the burrito wrap (and yes, we know Chorizo), but maybe some of the grease could be blotted up before putting it in. I appreciated the earth-friendly paper wrap. As I'm older with diminishing appetite, I wish they had a smaller burrito, I certainly couldnt finish mine. Maybe an 'Old Man Gringo' burrito with about half the filling for $8 or something. If you have the appetite, I'd recommend! read more

The Carne Asada burrito was exceptionally good as were both of the sauces. We are from New Mexico and we know good breakfast burritos and these burritos were probably better than 90% of the burritos we get in New Mexico. Amazing! Oh my God! I have not had burritos this good for such a long time! The last time I had awesome burritos was when Burros Burritos was open in Boise. I have forgotten how much I love burritos. I went to Campfire Hotel in Bend with my dog. Mom and I saw the food truck for Burrito Sunrise and planned to get up to have a breakfast burrito. In the morning, mom checked to see when they were open. While we were getting ready to travel to our next destination, another food truck pulled up. We checked out (the check out process is awesome at this hotel, so much fun) and we went to get a breakfast burrito. The menu had a variety of things, but I could not really find the perfect one for what I felt like, so I think I got something like a veggie burrito. This was more than enough. I got a big honking burrito. I think they either need a kid menu or we should have just ordered one and split it. The spices and sauces went perfectly together. The amount of eggs and beans were perfect. It was not too spicy and the tortilla was perfection. Mom and I sat next to the fire pit and enjoyed our breakfast. I think that they need to serve coffee, but I think it is why there is a coffee food truck. Next time I am in Bend, I will definitely come to Burrito Sunrise again. read more

I was visiting from out of town, and my friend and I needed to find a place to eat that had both vegetarian and meat options. She is a picky eater and loves burritos. She found this taco truck on the side of the road. Thankfully, they had one burrito that had no meat. My favorite part was the ability to customize the spice level and add jalapeños. Now, I am usually not a fan of breakfast burritos, because most of them are quite dry without adding tons of cheese. But surprisingly, this was just right and hit the spot. Got the hog burrito. It is a little pricey but with good reason because the thing is enormous. Don't attempt to eat it all because you will be stuffed. Good for sharing or save half for later. I'm not usually a fan of ham but this is some of the best ham I have had and bacon. The ham and bacon are thick and juicy. All together the burrito is delicious. Recommend this spot. read more

I saw Burrito Sunrise on the local news. I can live on Mexican food so I knew I had to give it a try. I didn't have an exact address but just a cross-street, Greenwood & Hill. (I do see on Yelp there is an address.) It's on the south side of the street, just west of the parkway. Parking is on the side street. I went on a Saturday morning. There were people waiting for food but only one in front of me to order. It's a walk up food truck. There weren't any tables but noticed after I left someone brought out a small table and chairs. Maybe a customer brought their own. Several customers seem to know each other. Again, friends meeting up or regulars...I don't know. FOOD... I ordered the tri-tip burrito without beans. It was excellent!! Included were tri-tip, hashbrowns, salsa, sour cream, onions and eggs. (Hope I didn't miss anything.) I would have preferred the onions chopped more uniformly and slightly smaller; every few bites I got a chunk. I love onions so this really isn't a criticism. The burrito came with two small tubs of salsa, one mild and one spicier. The mild sauce was good but I like heat. When I go back I'll ask for THREE of the spicy. It had a good flavor without being over-the-top strong. I still like to taste my food. The salsas were included in the price but I'm always willing to pay for extra sauce. The man taking orders was efficient and friendly but had issues keeping his mask up over his nose. (Covid restrictions still in affect.) My food came quickly! This is a positive when you are standing out in 30 degree weather. I ate in my car, with my faithful pooch begging for some. One of my criteria for judging a burrito is how well it is wrapped. Burrito Sunrise passed with flying colors! It was tight and didn't fall apart. If you don't know how to eat a burrito, you roll the wrapper down as you munch. I didn't loose any filling and my hands weren't dripping from the burrito leaking out the bottom. I give Burrito Sunrise 5 stars! What a great addition to Bend. I'd love to see them at a different location with more outside seating. read more

I've had the chance to try out their chorizo and asada breakfast burrito (no sour cream). Not too big of a size for $12 but then it's Bend OR where food prices is more expensive than other towns. No seating area just order, pick up and go. It's probably one of the top list of breakfast burritos I've had. I like that it's not dry and the chorizo has enough grease to coat the scramble egg and leave a great flavor. The supreme asada has great flavor and I love the way the hash brown is cooked with it. Do ask for extra hot sauce if you want a bit of a kick maybe even a couple hot sauces (red ones) as the container is fairly small. These are definitely the best breakfast burritos in Central Oregon. Phenomenal. Devin keeps the cleanest kitchen in Bend, too. He's a pro. I've had each of the burritos he offers. My favorite is always the one I have in my hand. Today I had the chorizo. Great. But I've also had the carnitas, the taco, the Hog, and the Tritip too. Seriously, you can't go wrong. I really really wanted to like this place.... The guy working in the truck was super nice and this place has 4 stars.... I give him 5 stars lol. But the burritos meh. My husband got the Hog and I had the plain. Definitely over salted.... Was tasting salty mouth for the rest of the day and neither of us felt very good after eating our burritos.
