There were associates wearing masks under their noses and no one was really counting how many shoppers were in the store. Went in to heat mold my new step on boots. No scheduling required. The heat mold process is pretty hands off. An associate with put in the heat blaster and after that it's all you. Took about 10-15 minutes to heat up my boots and additional 10-15 minutes of walking around and going outside to roll the boots on the stones to create an arch. I recommend wearing your thickest socks and an additional one or two thin wool socks underneath to push out the foam/material if the boots were tight to begin with. Lots of deals. There are only a couple Burton outlets in the county and this is one of them. I LOVE Burton products. Great quality and love the look. The outlets can be hit or miss. They have mostly last season items and the newer items in the front of the store usually has a small discount like 25-30% off retail. Sometimes the clearance is 70% off the retail price but the sizing and colors are limited. Mostly XS and XL. I've bought $4.99 party socks and $14.99 gloves but again size S and XS. Went here with my wife and 2 year old. Had to ask to change their music because it was explicit trap music playing with great lyrics about drug dealing themes and detailed sex. One song was "My brother used to front to me and now I front to my brother".... that one I let slip, but the next song "I put the tip in her pu$$y make it wet"... like wtf is going on with the staff over there? We asked the staff to change the music, they changed 1 song and then it went back to the same playlist. I'm shopping for a new jacket and budget is up to $500. I'll take my money elsewhere. They have some great deals on Gravis shoes (practically giving them away). Even if you don't snowboard, check this place out for decent, interesting sneakers and the best backpacks ever. Decided to stop in on the way to Vermont for a weekend of winter sports. They always have a great selection at this spot, and if you're lucky to get there when a sale is going on, the savings can be incredible. Great deals on their snowboarding equipment and cold weather apparel. Burton makes their jackets and pants unlike any other company- warm, wearable, and stylish (no high waisted or ll bean-like designs here). The little details are the best- rubber tabs on zipper pulls, side vents on pants, compartments for iPod. Also great are the selection for hats, gloves, socks, bags and all the "other" apparel (t-shirts, long underwear, sweaters). I've gotten socks here at over 60% off, while they are still being sold at full retail at Ski Market. They carry Burton's sneaker (Gravis) and goggle (Anon) lines as well. Staff is usually helpful and knowledgable about the apparel and equipment. I understand that due to COVID stores have to limit the number of shoppers. That being said, I have never been to a store with less helpful staff (the only exception being the manager). Went in and out of the store several times to buy/exchange/return clothing, since you can't try anything on. Each time we asked an associate for help and were met with "I don't know", "I'm not sure", etc. Half of the staff is sitting there playing on their "work" phones, and avoiding eye contact with all shoppers. I even called the store to ask simple questions about the wait, and the best time to run in and make a quick return, and yet again received "I don't know", and "I'm not sure". One would think with a line wrapped around the building, and the wait to get in averaging over an hour that the staff would be trying to get customers helped and out of the store as quickly as possible, to welcome in the next round of guests. But unfortunately, that's not the case. The stoner vibe is real in this location. read more

This location is the best snowboard location in New England. Period. I've gone here multiple times and walked out happy. Worth the drive from Providence! Originally walked in and spoke to Anthony. He helped me find some boots. He was literally on his knees getting multiple pairs of boots to find the right one for me. EXTREMELY helpful. I later on realized he was an assistant manager. That speaks a TON. A person in a leadership role typically is 'too good' or pushes these small things on other employees, but this guy was taking care of my every need. Never once did I feel pressured. Never once did I feel like I was getting a BS speech. He had facts to back everything up. There was also another guy who was helping someone else out. While anthony was going out back to find boots, the guy was keeping conversation with me. Nothing salesman like..just simply making me feel welcome. The girls behind the register were very polite as well. I eventually walked out HAPPY with some new hail boots. I just came back from there tonight and was helped by Jesse and Jeff. Again, felt extremely wanted there. Jesse dialed in my whole set up. Jesse and Jeff helped me out with a lot of other stuff too. Very laid back. I've ridden 'Flow' equipment for the past few years but after the customer service I received here ( along with people I spoke to on phone while I was looking for a custom flying v ) , I made a complete change to all Burton gear. Got a new flying v. Cartel bindings. Hail boots. And other Burton stuff. You guys are truly awesome and legit people. You will have my recommendation for anyone looking for board gear. We had a great experience here last week! An employee by the name of Sam spent close to 2 hours with us, making sure my husband and niece had exactly what they needed and wanted. My niece is brand new to snowboarding, and my husband has been at it for over a decade, and he was equally helpful with both. He was checking the inventory of out of state stores to find the perfect gear, and arranged to have items shipped to our house.
